Rules:
No wank
No kink-shaming
Be respectful to everyone
The mod is not your babysitter
Use the warnings
No prompts with characters under the age of 16 in sexual situations, please.
Please keep the discussions in the prompt post to a minimum. We have a discussion post

Mandatory trigger warnings/warnings for both prompts and fills:

If this list misses anything, do let me know, though please understand that if absolutely everything is added this list will never end.

You are encouraged and advised to add additional warnings at your own discretion.

Please make use of the subject line.

If your prompt alludes to the book or any of the other adaptations, please let us know which one.

Lastly, prompt freezes (which I have to say I’m really not fond of) etc will be at the mod’s discretion. I will decide on a prompt cut-off point for prompt posts once I know how fast the meme moves.

A Knight's Tale AU

Date: 2014-07-24 07:56 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
With d'Artagnan as the commoner who wants to be a knight, Aramis as his herald, Porthos as his awesome right hand man, and Constance as the plucky blacksmith he falls in love with (so not a strict AU). Athos is the enigmatic prince who hides his identity to be able to joust in the lists and eventually allows d'Artagnan to be the knight he always wished he could be.

Soul Marks Au OT4

Date: 2014-07-24 10:28 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Everyone is born with some form of soul mark.

If they are lucky then it is a simple name, the name of their soul mate, sometimes it is less obvious and is the crest of a noble house, or the meaning of a persons name, sometimes it is a symbol that describes their intended, like a soldier would be described by a sword, a black smith by an anvil etc.

For Athos, Aramis, Porthos and d`Artagnan, their marks have always been confusing, until of course they met each other and found out why.

They were all born with one quarter of a complete soul mark, which when joined forms a Fleur de lis surrounded by a lovers heart.

They are an incredibly rare match, a single soul split into four parts, a perfect soul match between four making them the best Musketeer unit in the regiment, and soul mates.

Aramis and Porthos find out first that they share part of a mark that lines up, then when Athos is revealed he joins them in their bonding, all three impatiently awaiting the fouth and final part of their bond, d`Artagnan.

Everyone, foster family, modern AU

Date: 2014-07-25 08:22 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
I dunno, maybe some domestic scenes, Christmas Eve things (or a summer trip), family meetings,... I just want something in modern days where the boys act as a family.

Treville would be a perfect single dad, Constance their beloved aunt (or social worker?). The boys might have been adopted, living their young days in a foster family ruled by Treville and recently joined by D'Artagnan, the youngest.

Overwhelmed d'Artagnan

Date: 2014-07-25 03:05 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)

D'Artagnan is the new guy. Yes, he seemed to fit in but there must be moments where it all seems too much and yes, he does make mistakes. The others never cover for him- he has to learn- but they'll always pick him up afterwards. They were the new guys once after all. Except maybe Aramis who could have been one of the first guys but he's seen so many new guys...d'Artagnan is definitely not the worst.

Date: 2014-07-25 04:52 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Aramis can get very loud when he and Porthos have sex, so I would like to see a 3+ or 5+ fic

Where in different scenarios they are either in the middle of sex or want to have it and someone either walk in/ sleeping close by etc

And Porthos had to gagged Aramis so no one can hear them

Hope I have explain this ok

Re: Keeping Aramis quite slash

mmhh yes!
From: (Anonymous)
According to the novel, Constance was just 15 when she was married to the 30 year old Bonaciuex and it's very likely they never had a good sex life, if they had a sex life at all - Constance hasn't yet had a baby after several years of marriage, very much like Queen Anne's situation with Louis.

After D'artagnan crashes into her life in every way, she has these passionate feelings for the first time in her life. D'artagnan is far from being innocent and inexperienced and relishes teaching the woman he loves how good love making can be, whether rushed and passionate during a moment that Bonacieux is out of the house or ( set during series 2 ) slow and tender during a time when Queens Anne's dress maker can be entirely alone with D'artagnan in the palace grounds.

A side helping of humour from Aramis and Porthas would be an added bonus or a father / son moment between D'artagnan and Athos, who doesn't entirely approve of what D'artagnan is getting up to but understands all the same.

From: (Anonymous)
Interesting prompt. :)

And also, it's PorthOs, not PorthAs.

Another four out of five times prompt

OT4

Four times they others had to comfort one of them when they are distressed over a nightmare, or seeing some horrific murder scene or an aniversary of a traumatic event.
And one time they were all content and happy.
From: (Anonymous)
Seconded. I can't get enough of these.
From: (Anonymous)
Aramis and Porthos are about to make with the lovin'. Porthos is stripping his lover slowly and sweetly, kissing each stretch of skin he uncovers, when it begins to register that Aramis isn't just flushed and warm from contact -- he's burning up with fever. Cue Porthos slipping deftly from seduction to worried caretaking. Aramis doesn't protest the switch very long at all, as he realizes he actually feels terrible and needs help.

This all eventually culminates in gentle cuddling of very sick Aramis. Possibly while it rains like hell outside. (OT3 with Athos would also be fine for this, if that strikes the author's fancy.)
From: (Anonymous)
Ooo this kind of sweetness is right up my ally today. I hope someone fills it!

Three years ago a Musketeer was found guilty of conduct unbecoming a Musketeer, gross misconduct, and bringing shame on the great regiment.

For this he was cast out of the Musketeers disowned by his former brother in arms and all but dismissed from their minds.

Now he is back for revenge.

Musketeers are being abducted, held for two or three days, brutally tortured, then their bodies dumped with their throats slit open, the mark of the Fleur de lis branded across their chests with the Musketeer moto carved beneath right down to the bone.

Treville has all his men on high alert looking for the culprit, desperate not to loose anyone else to this maniac, then things take a turn for the worse, his best team torn apart by worry and anger as their newest recruit d`Artagnan is taken.

Would love this to be slash preferably Athos/d`Art but will accept gen with a close brotherly or father/son relationship aswell.

For some reason d`Artagnan just seems to always be the perfect victim in these fics.

Non con is up to the filler I put the warning up in case but it is not compulsory
From: (Anonymous)
Oooh I hope this gets filled, I love D'artagnan / Athos fics that are filled with angst, even since Athos said 'Is he dead?" in Sleight of Hand.
From: (Anonymous)
Aramis does something which risks his own life and he ends up getting hurt while he and Athos are off investigating/working together.

Athos decides to try a variation of the "I need you to be a good example for your little brother/d'Artagnan is one of us now and he looks up to you and follows your example" type speeches, in an attempt to get Aramis to stop risking himself so readily.
From: (Anonymous)
Aramis is struggling to cope with the revelation of the Queen 's pregnancy, and is trying to hide this fact from the others - because he feels that Athos doesn't want to know and the other two can't for their own safety. But d'Artagnan (who is nursing his own heartache) encounters Aramis alone and upset, and when pressed, Aramis tells d'Artagnan the truth. Cue comforting that leads to comfort sex.
From: (Anonymous)
Wouldn't mind seeing more with these two.

d'Artagnan learns not to judge a book...

Date: 2014-07-27 10:17 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)

Athos himself was surprised to find these things out but now he has the joy of seeing d'Artagnan making the discoveries:

- It is Porthos who takes the longest to get ready. Aramis actually doesn't put much thought into what he looks like.

- Aramis eats way more than Porthos.

- Porthos will cry and show his emotions. Aramis is the one who bottles it up.

- Aramis is the one most likely to punch first, ask questions later. Porthos can retain his calm.

Sometimes, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

The Past Comes Back - Witness Porthos Brot3

Date: 2014-07-27 11:00 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Hope this makes sense.

Porthos sees someone at court who looks familiar to him, and who, eventually he discovers, knew his mother. His recollections of this person are vague at first, as he was only a child, but as he puzzles out how he knows this person, he begins to remember more and more. He's then able to talk to this person and hear some stories/memories about his mother.

Then, of course, he starts to realize some of his memories don't fit - what was this man doing in the court of miracles?, etc. etc. One memory stands out and helps Porthos and the other Musketeers figure out the man was, and still is, up to no good, and they bring him to justice.

Very interesting prompt. Would be great as a nice long story.
From: (Anonymous)
I have no idea why, but whenever there is a forehead kiss in fic, or a kiss to the temple, it gets me every time. There is just something affectionate and unassuming and also close and comfortable in the gesture. To me it kind of denotes familiarity and history and all those things I love portrayed in these types of brotherhoods.

I'd like to see a fic with 3x Athos kissed Aramis's forehead, and one time Aramis kissed Athos's forehead.

Though I think I prefer Gen for this, I actually don't mind if someone wants to make it BroT3 or a pairing, I just don't want the focus to be on sex, or for the forehead kiss to be a precursor to sex or about sex. Just, warm, gentle affection or comfort, or even just gratitude or relief that the other is alive.

Please?

I get what you mean. That gesture melts me. +1

5 times Athos scares the beejesus out of someone

Date: 2014-07-28 06:14 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Read somewhere that Tom once hid for a while waiting to pounce out and scare the beejesus out of Luke.

Somehow not seeing Athos being the door hiding behind, pouncing kind. I do however see him being the stealthy shadow lurker, who has the ability to materialise, silently, out of nowhere, to be right behind you.

Outcomes of which could be someone dropping a precious bottle of wine , throwing a drink over themselves\others , letting out an unmanly squeal, fainting (that could be a bad guy)

Kudos for him managing to catch Treville or the Cardinal unawares.

P.S. as Aramis does not flinch, his reaction would probably just be 'Hi Athos'
From: (Anonymous)

We know that homophobia was once seen as a crime and a horrendous behaviour.

I'd like to read a story where Athos (or Treville) discovers that Treville (or Athos) is gay/bisexual (the "how" is up to you). The one being outed starts to explain himself, expecting the other one to report the fact which would lead to death penalty. The non-outed decides to keep the secret because of reasons.

Can be gen or not.

Extras :

- The outed one starts a "I'm such a disillusion to you" speech. The other one angrily contradicts him immediately.
- Mention of rank/age difference

Pointing the blame

Date: 2014-07-28 11:07 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)

I feel bad for Aramis- he seems to be seen as the troublemaker, the one to cock up etc. The most likely to get the group into shit. But in the show, although he can be reckless, it seems to me that he goes about it alone so no one else needs to involved.

I would therefore like to read a fic where one of the others makes a mistake or, my preference, for them to blame Aramis for something that wasn't his fault and then have to apologise.

Bonus if Treville doesn't think it was Aramis at any point.

The Kings Cousin

Date: 2014-07-29 06:59 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
The Kings younger cousin is a Musketeer "recruit", the recruit part is a technicality since the King has all but comissioned him already though he is useless with a sword, can`t fight his way out of a paper bag, and would proberly shoot himself in the foot with a gun rather than an enemy!.

Treville however has to grit his teeth and bare it, as dose the regiment, struggling to bite their tongues about the mans arrogance, posturing, and snide remarks.

As a son of royalty he has been brought up privelaged and spoiled never really tought respect and tollerence.
He treats Athos as a common drunk, Aramis as a nymphmaniac and fallen priest, Porthos as a slave and criminal, and d`Artagnan as a clumsy uneducated farm boy.

Naturally this gets their backs up, but they can`t do anything about it, considering who he is.
However, the Kings cousin gets his comuppance when he reveals his ineptitude as a Musketeer before the King getting Athos and d`Artagnan injured, and also shows his cruelty and biggotry that does not win him any favours with Louis XIII

Leaving their usual tavern one night, Aramis hears what he thinks is a sound of distress coming from an alley nearby and goes to investigate, but it's a set-up. He finds himself surrounded by masked men, too many for him to defeat on his own. He fights furiously as they take him down, but they get him to the ground, holding him in place, intent on rape.

Somewhere in the middle of the attack, Porthos and Athos hear something as they leave the tavern and go to investigate, coming upon Aramis and his attackers. Up to the filler how far you want the attack to have gone at that point, but I'd like it to be "happening" or very close to it, though I'm more focused on the after effects for this prompt, than the attempted rape itself.

I'd love it to be Gen/BroT3 or BroT4, and as in-character as possible. How would Aramis really react to an attack like this? Hurt? Stoic? Pretend it didn't happen? Would he be embarrassed that it happened to him - that he was found that way by his brothers, not able to defend himself? Nightmares? I'd just love the possibilities to be realistically explored. As realistically as can be for a show that plays fast and loose with accuracy, anyway. :)

The King is throwing a gala (or some other fancy gathering) with all the wealthy, well to do people of Paris. All the Musketeers are on guard, accept for Aramis who is having to stay with Constance recovering from some rather serious injuries from the last mission.

Porthos overhears a Lady asking her friend which one of the guards on duty is the dashing Aramis that she has been hearing all about, dissapointed that he does not appear to be present. She then asks if everything she has heard about him and his reputation of being the expert lover are true. Her friend confirms this and proceeds to regail her friend with every lurid detail. Where he is most sensitive, most ticklish, what drives him wild. They are soon joined by other Ladies who add their discoveries to the mix. Porthos is getting rather hot and bothered by these revelations and imagining Aramis in the throws of passion.

Until, that is, they turn to the scars on his head. He has told most of the Ladies about all of his other scars on his body, but nothing about the ones on his head. One discovered especially not to touch the one on his temple when he is asleep, it apparently triggered a terrible nightmare. A couple have tips on how to sooth those nightmares. They eventually turn their gossip back to Aramis' more adventurous tastes in the bedroom. Que Porthos getting bothered again.

Meanwhile Treville is getting very, very irritated with nearly every Lady (and quite a few gents) asking where Aramis is.
When Porthos gets to Constance's house he finds if full of flowers, fruit baskets and gifts from Aramis' well wishers. A flamboyant Duke has even sent their man servant, much to Constance's irritation.

I see this is being pre-relationship leading to Porthos spilling his feelings and Aramis retuning whole heartidly.

Would our fav Inseparables be part of the Federation or free-lance?

Would Athos be some dishonored Federation officer? Would Porthos be an honorable but dangerous half-Klingon? Wouldn't Aramis make a perfect amorous Betazoid or some exotic green-skinned dancing boy? And what the hell would d'Artagnan be?

Have at, crack or serious, we need the Musketeers to boldly go where no Musketeer has gone before!

Should he accept? The money would mean a great deal to the church\orphanage. Would they want it though if they knew how it was earned. Would this be his first time with a man. Is he in a relationship that would be jeopardised. Does his friends find out.
