Welcome to the BBC The Musketeers kink meme

The lowdown: You post your prompt, anon or not. Someone else will hopefully fill it (also anon or not). Not for profit, just for fun. And in this case, for king and country.

Anon is on, IP logging is off.

Rules:
No wank
No kink-shaming
Be respectful to everyone
The mod is not your babysitter
Use the warnings
No prompts with characters under the age of 16 in sexual situations, please.
Please keep the discussions in the prompt post to a minimum. We have a discussion post

Mandatory trigger warnings/warnings for both prompts and fills:
non-con/dub-con
abuse (physical and mental)
issues such as racism, sexism, homo-/trans-/-bi-/ace-phobia etc
character death
suicide
self-harm
eating disorders
extreme physical or mental illness
substance abuse (alcohol, drugs, medication)
bullying
gore and horror

If this list misses anything, do let me know, though please understand that if absolutely everything is added this list will never end.

You are encouraged and advised to add additional warnings at your own discretion.

Please make use of the subject line.

If your prompt alludes to the book or any of the other adaptations, please let us know which one.

Lastly, prompt freezes (which I have to say I’m really not fond of) etc will be at the mod’s discretion. I will decide on a prompt cut-off point for prompt posts once I know how fast the meme moves.

Announcement: A blanket spoiler warning is necessary for prompts pertaining to season 2. Just season 2 Spoilers in the subject line will do.

Porthos/Athos begging, bondage, desperation

“Stay still, or I will tie you to this bed and you can wait for Athos.”

Could I have that please?
From: (Anonymous)
Edmond is an entitled, tantrum-thowing, overgrown baby, and when he sees Aramis, he wants Aramis - and Edmond's father makes sure he gets him, for whatever he wants with him, and in whichever way he can manage to have Aramis snatched away.

Either this happens before the end, or the episode plays out differently and it happens after Edmond got shot and miraculously survived - and now his father is willing to do anything for his son. Anything at all, even taking a big risk and kidnapping a musketeer.
I don't much care about exactly *how* far you take this and if Aramis gets saved in time or manages to save himself, or if there'll be some very dark and disturbing things happening to Aramis beforehand, but I very much do hope that somebody *will* want to take this.

The darker the better, any other pairing you want to play with within the framework of this prompt is fine, too, but I just really have a thing for those entitled types feeling they're entitled to pretty Aramis.
From: (Anonymous)
So, maybe I'm a sicko, but would love to see a really, really bad situation in which d'Artagnan is completely and totally on his own. Maybe the Inseparables have for once been sent on a mission without him, maybe he just can't get to them.

In any case, he somehow finds himself unarmed and attacked by some extremely angry Red Guards, who at first are only out to beat him up a little but eventually go too far until it's full-on torture. Whatever they wind up actually doing to him is up to Anon, but when it's all over they add insult to injury cutting his hair.

He's too badly injured by the time they leave to get to Constance's, and amid all the other horrible things he's feeling begins to realize that, with no chance of finding help, odds are he's going to die.

Cue the Cardinal finding him, whether by accident or on purpose, and somehow being the one to patch him up and get him help.

Anything else that happens is completely up to Anon, although OP would prefer a darker tone as opposed to lighter, just not completely depressing. Gen is also preferred. :D

Gen: d'Artagnan is hurt and Aramis sings to him

Date: 2015-02-19 09:56 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
So I just saw the episode with baby Henry, and freaked out everybody in my house by failing to contain my shriek of joy at Aramis' singing. My goodness, he wasn't kidding about it being a gift. *Fans self*

But exactly what it says on the tin: d'Artagnan is hurt, preferably really bad, and is in a state of complete and total hysteria. Exact cause of this is up to Anon. It's so bad that, regardless of whether he recognizes friend from foe, he doesn't want anybody to touch him and fights wildly to escape from anyone who tries.

Desperate, Aramis tries the only thing he can think of, and sings to d'Artagnan to calm him down. Much to Aramis' (And anyone elses', if Anon wants others present) it actually works.

Bonus points for, during the lead-up to actually singing, Aramis frantically tells d'Artagnan that it's over, he needs to be brave for a little longer, that kind of thing.

And OP will love Anon for the rest of her life if, after being calmed down by Aramis' singing, d'Artagnan is actually the one to initiate touch by tackling Aramis' in a hug the best he can.
From: (Anonymous)
I have an idea for this.
I must warn you that I am in no way experienced at writing fanfictions, but I might give this a shot.

Gen: Constance returns a slap- with interest

Date: 2015-02-19 10:09 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
In s1e6, The Exiles, Constance wasn't happy about being slapped by that man when she was pretending to be a wetnurse. In the episode, she got d'Artagnan back for it later- spectacularly, actually- but my sick mind ran with it.

The request is that Constance, recalling d'Artagnan's bad habit of randomly kissing her to get himself out of trouble, asking her to pretend she's a prostitute, and now this issue with the wetnurse, gets rather annoyed and decides payback is in order.

At some point, whether it's about the time she kicked him in the episode or later is up to Anon, Constance smacks d'Artagnan the exact same way that guy hit her. Preferably more than once.

Cue indignant, spluttering d'Artagnan and whatever conversation Anon feels is necessary.

Bonus points if it isn't even the slightest bit 'kinky' and is actually played for humor. :D

Season 2 - adrenaline junkie

Date: 2015-02-19 10:35 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Don't know if this has been done before, but after aramis and d'artagnan's talk about why they should stay and fight, the reason being feeling alive- I just kinda wanna see aramis being a little bit an adrenaline junkie. Nothing totally violent or self destructive, but after Savoy he might need the rush to remember what living feels like.

The others see this and gets more and more grey hairs when he falls for women out of his reach, or maybe suddenly suggest they might go cliff diving.

Anything really!

From: (Anonymous)
Rochefort knows about Aramis fathering the Dauphin, he knows about Athos being married to Milady and letting her live despite being a murderer, he knows about the Musketeers saving baby Henri in series one The Exiles.

He wants to destroy the Inseparables

He wants d`Artagnan

He forces d`Artagnan to resign his commission and become his kept boy, his sex slave, brutalizing and tormenting d`Artagnan in every way he can think of, knowing that d`Artagnan won`t run because of the threat to his previous lovers, and thoroughly enjoying the torment of seeing their lover so beaten down is having on Athos, Aramis, and Porthos.

Despite the risk, the Inseparables are not going to let this continue, they are going to find a way to set d`Artagnan free, and bring Rochefort down once and for all.

If they can get proof of his dealings with Spain, then nothing he says will matter because The King and Queen will never believe a traitor, they just have to find the evidence, and bide their time, praying d`Artagnan can hold on long enough for them to succeed.

Massive d`Artagnan whump and hurt/comfort

OT3 angst, since half of why d`Artagnan is trapped by Rochefort is because of their actions.

Bonus for a serious twisted Rochefort, brutally beating d`Artagnan one minute, then being sickeningly sweet the next petting him and kissing him and telling him he`s beautiful.
From: (Anonymous)
Option One: d'Artagnan is alone with LeBarge in the Bastille for much, much longer before Athos arrives, and the man's sadistic tendencies assert themselves in a brutal way when he decides, after beating d'Artagnan senseless, to play with him a bit before killing him.

Then, of course, Athos shows up just in time to save d'Artagnan's life. Unfortunately, Athos is almost as angry with d'Artagnan as he was with LeBarge over what he walked in on, and the following patch-up is accompanied by either a vehement lecture, or one harsh remark and then stony silence.

Option Two: During the duel, LeBarge intentionally hurts d'Artagnan repeatedly without actually disarming him, but eventually knocks him down and takes the opportunity to torture and humiliate before anyone can stop him, pinning d'Artagnan down and taunting him. Everyone thinks the 'fight' is over, but before it can be interrupted or called in favor of the Cardinal's men, d'Artagnan somehow manages to get LeBarge off of him, and get up and continue fighting until he eventually wins.

Cue the furious- at LeBarge- proud, and protective Inseparables rushing to hold d'Artagnan up before he can collapse, maybe him still being worried about the commission and all of the other angst he was put through over the course of that episode.

Bonus points if those watching the fight, especially the Cardinal, actually begin to feel awkward/squeamish/indignant about just how far out of line LeBarge gets with d'Artagnan before anybody can intervene.

...this anon has a very sick type of love for d'Artagnan, apparently...<.

Sick Boys(Musketeers) Looking After Each Other

Date: 2015-02-20 02:25 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
I'd love to see a story where more than one of the boys are sick and they need to take care of each other. Maybe two of them are on a mission and the other two are stuck back at the garrison sick, maybe all four of them are sick. I'd be open to any combination of sick boys, feeling terrible but still worried about their brother(s).
From: (Anonymous)
I can always go for more boys-looking-after-each other fics.

d'Artagnan is mistaken for a prostitute (Humor)

Date: 2015-02-20 05:00 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Somehow, some way, d'Artagnan finds himself set upon by somebody with entirely the wrong idea.

Preferably with little to no warning, he's grabbed by a random stranger- male or female is up to anon- and kissed rather forcefully before he can do anything about. He starts to struggle, but his 'attacker' keeps it up until oxygen deprivation is starting to become pretty uncomfortable, and also interrupts d'Artagnan's flailing attempts at escape by grabbing his hand and trying to give him some coins.

d'Artagnan can't call for help because, of course, he keeps not being allowed use of his mouth long enough to get a word out, but it finally occurs to him that either biting or a well-placed knee is an option, and eventually gets his 'attacker' to stop long enough that he can get to either his sword, gun, or dagger, and uses a line very similar to what Constance said to him.

Followed with something like "What do I look like to you" after which the now-very-flustered 'attacker' heavily implies that (s)he thought d'Artagnan was some sort of call boy, to which d'Artagnan replies something like "This is my uniform! How does this say 'prostitute' to you?"

The irony of the situation is absolutely not lost on him.

Bonus points if one or all of the Inseparables finds out.
More Bonus points if they tell Constance.
Extra credit if Constance somehow saw part of what happened but not all and initially gets mad at d'Artagnan because she thought he was involved in that situation on purpose.

And, of course, you win the internet for d'Artagnan's reactions to it. Utterly mortified, indignant, shocked, rueful over the irony...whatever anon would like.

Situations where Aramis keeps waking up with the large black birds, ravens , rooks etc around him. Maybe five bad situations and one useful one?

Can I suggest a slightly paranoid Aramis in this regard, where he's privately uncertain whether they're genuine supernatural bad omens, and/or starts to believe they're guardians/protectors?

Let’s pretend Rochefort was closer and overheard Constance and d’Artagnan’s love confessions at the end of the last episode. And he saw the queen’s happy smile.

This just fuels his delusions.
From: (Anonymous)
Aramis is an angel. But he doesn’t remember this. He cannot die until his task is complete. So every time he gets into situations where he really should be killed, something always saves him.

Let’s have some serious situations where by some stroke of luck or a silly event which results in Aramis living.

He could get a reputation as being good or bad luck charm. After all maybe his fellow musketeers never survived these situations as unscathed as him. Maybe that’s how he ended up on a squad with just two other men, the other musketeers refused to work with him. (Oh, I’ve made myself sad. Didn’t mean to think that up).

With Athos and/or Porthos stitching up Aramis's head, and maybe a few of his other cuts that went deeper than expected. D'Artagnan there too.

S2 Spoilers - Aramis's nine lives

Date: 2015-02-20 11:46 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
"You don't know Aramis."

Aramis is always pushing boundaries - purposely or not - and going too close to the metaphorical ledge while tempting death. The others hate this, but it's hard not to believe in his invincibility when he always seems to survive where others wouldn't (or haven't, considering Savoy).

So, yeah, basically 9 times Aramis should have been dead but survived. With him being a little too casual/cheeky (or serious but just too reckless) about it, with the others get some gray hairs while at the same time being relieved he seems to have the luck of the gods).

Or just any variations on this theme.

This is a self-indulgent desire on my part, but when Milady goes to fetch help, she tells Athos and Treville that Aramis is dead, and that's the only part we hear, but she filled them in on the details on how he "died" at some point because of Athos's dialog of "I heard you broke a window."

I want that conversation. Athos being very stoic and controlling his inner panic/grief while pressing Milady for details. How did it happen? Did you actually see the body? Are you sure? Tell me again. Which window? Which floor?

Maybe his first death was Savoy.

Let’s say some of the others know. Maybe Treville is his immortal mentor or knows his mentor.

Let’s have the times immortal life has interfered with musketeer life and how the others find out.

Let’s have other immortals tracking hi down and challenging him in Paris and when they are travelling around France.

Let’s have the others witnessing a fight and/or a quickening.

Aramis TLC : S2 Spoilers : E6

Date: 2015-02-21 03:41 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Aramis was much more badly injured in the fall. He does not wake up at all during the proceedings. Porthos goes to look for him after everyone is rescued, being quite anguished when he finds him.
Unwilling to risk the journey back to Paris Treville, Athos and Porthos stay behind to tend to him. The King is rather disinterested and uncaring and tells them they all have indefinite leave as they are no use to him anymore.
The place has a good kitchen garden and some chickens , so they are quite self sufficient. It takes several days for Aramis to come round, and even longer for him to be able to move without crippling pain. His memory though is patchy. He does not seen to remember about the Queen or his son, which restores in him a kind of peace that has been missing of late.

- I see d'Artagnan retuning with Constance, but he could stay too with her coming to visit. Aramis\Porthos (Portamis) , Treville\Athos (Athville? ) , 4 some , all welcome. ...

The scene in which they were tied up together and had to collaborate to escape really worked for me, oops. So basically hate!sex with a side of kink.

Bonus points for bondage (but no dislocated shoulders this time) and/or Porthos using his larger frame to pin Rochefort down. Rochefort complaining about it, obviously.

More bonus points for them both being super sassy through the scene.

Even more bonus points for Rochefort thinking about how different this is from all his fantasies with Anne but liking it nonetheless. And for Porthos to be slightly ashamed of sleeping with the enemy but triumphant about managing to shut him up for once.

From: (Anonymous)
Aramis speaks Spanish, he looks Spanish... and surely, with the political situation as it is, there can easily arise the need to send a trusted man into Spain. The possibilities are endless! Undercover, separated from his Inseparables and on his own except for secret messages and clandestine meetings, adventure, drama, suspense, spy shenanigans (Aramis strikes me as someone who would have fun coming up with a role to play), angst, and ample opportunity for his friends to be really worried (and for others to be grudgingly impressed).

Any direction you'd like to go in I'll be happy with. I'd even take actually a Spanish spy!Aramis who is developing torn loyalties and considering going native. Inseparables interactions are always good, shippy or not.

Lol the idea that his backstory is fake. Maybe Isabel was a fellow spy and they came up with matching or similar enough backstories. But somewhere along the way they lost track of each other and that’s why Aramis was so shocked to see her as a nun there.
