Welcome to the BBC The Musketeers kink meme

The lowdown: You post your prompt, anon or not. Someone else will hopefully fill it (also anon or not). Not for profit, just for fun. And in this case, for king and country.

Anon is on, IP logging is off.

Rules:
No wank
No kink-shaming
Be respectful to everyone
The mod is not your babysitter
Use the warnings

Mandatory trigger warnings/warnings for both prompts and fills:
non-con/dub-con
abuse (physical and mental)
issues such as racism, sexism, homo-/trans-/-bi-/ace-phobia etc
character death
suicide
self-harm
eating disorders
extreme physical or mental illness
substance abuse (alcohol, drugs, medication)
bullying
gore and horror

If this list misses anything, do let me know, though please understand that if absolutely everything is added this list will never end.

You are encouraged and advised to add additional warnings at your own discretion.

Please make use of the subject line.

If your prompt alludes to the book or any of the other adaptations, please let us know which one.

Lastly, prompt freezes (which I have to say I’m really not fond of) etc will be at the mod’s discretion. I will decide on a prompt cut-off point for prompt posts once I know how fast the meme moves.

Rule addition: No more discussions on the prompt post. If you want to discuss something, we have a discussion post. If you want to wank about a prompt, that's not what the discussion post is for. That's what your scroll bar and that little red x in the top corner of your browser is for.

Aramis/omc non-con (protecting d'Artagnan)

Date: 2014-03-28 11:45 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
The boys have been captured - Athos and Porthos are injured. (Porthos is unconscious) Some of the men guarding them are restless and decide to have a 'bit of fun' with d'Artagnan. Aramis intervenes by persuading them that he has more to offer in the way of experience, so they take him away instead. When they bring him back later he's shaking and dishevelled, and tells them not to touch him for a bit. He insists that Porthos must never know what transpired.

I'd like d'Artagnan to be confused - perhaps he assumed the man just wanted to rough him up a bit and doesn't appreciate Aramis' intervention. Athos is torn because he didn't want it to happen to d'Artagnan, but it still hurts because this is Aramis. Then they're rescued by Treville and the rest of the musketeers. Does Treville and/or Porthos find out what really happened? How do they react? Give me angst and h/c please, anon.

Aramis is hooking up (just for sex) with a married woman with a jerk husband when her husband dies. She finds out she's pregnant after her husband's death, and she doesn't know if it's Aramis's or her husband's. Run with it.

Bonus points if the baby looks just like her when it's born, and they never figure out whose it was biologically.

He's tired of being the one who they constantly have to rescue, treat for injuries, save etc.
He's tired of everyone looking down on him, and one day maybe their teasing gets a bit too much and he storms off - but when he gets back everyone is missing/in danger/dying etcetera and he has to save them all. (bonus if he does it with help from the lovely ladies of the show)
Or maybe the boys just get into a spot of trouble and he's the only one left standing and the others are telling him to run, but he won't abandon them.
I just want some BAMF d'Artagnan, please

Plz, kinkmeme, give me stress relief. Preferably in the form of Athos!orgasms, in the hands of whoever takes your fancy - I'm always partial to a bit of Porthos, but Aramis and d'Artagnan, or Ninon or Milady are all very, very welcome. Or solo! Basically,, I'm looking for a wrung-out and blissed beyond the point of fretting Athos.

Hi,
you might know this from Moulin Rouge (El Tango de Raxanne):
His eyes upon your face
His hand upon your hand
His lips caress your skin
It’s more than I can stand
Why does my heart cry?
Feelings I can’t fight
You’re free to leave me
But just don’t deceive me
And please
Believe me when I say
I love you

I imagine Porthos thinking this about Aramis. Lot's of jalousy and heart break is appriciated. I would favour a happy ending but that is really up to you.

40 Days of Dating, Aramis/Constance

Date: 2014-03-28 10:23 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
A modern AU based on the social experiment conducted by Jessica Walsh and Timothy Goodman (http://fortydaysofdating.com/).

Aramis and Constance are twentysomethings living in the bustling city of Paris; their careers are taking off, but it seems the fast-paced life of the city has gotten in the way of their ability to form meaningful, romantic relationships. Aramis falls in love with way too easily, while Constance just can't get herself to commit. As they find themselves approaching 30 and still without a partner, they try to fix their relationship problems. They try to do an experiment; they will try to date each other for 40 days (since that's usually how long it takes to break a habit), document everything, and see what happens.

Taken from the site, here are the "rules" of the experiment:
1. They have to see each other everyday (even if it's just for a quick breakfast)
2. They have to go on at least 3 dates a week.
3. They have to see a couples therapist at least once a week.
4. They will go on one weekend trip together.
5. They have to fill the daily questionnare/document everything that happened.
6. They can't see/sleep with anyone else while the experiment is on going.

Would love to see the fill in the "Questionnare" format as shown on the site, but anything goes! :)

Fill: Unfinished Captaincy 1/3

Date: 2014-05-11 05:59 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
[In the spirit, ahem, of Fill-athon Week, I came back for a rummage in Prompt Post 1, and I'm glad I did, because I love this prompt. More bittersweet than tragic. Warning: as is inevitable for the prompt, CHARACTER DEATH.]

“How’s it going captain?”

Athos could tell that it was an effort of will for Aramis not to put a teasing inflection on the final word. It was going to take some getting used to for all of them - and that was without considering the vexed question of whether it was ever truly possible to be friends with men under your command in the same way they had been friends as equals.

“I’m making progress, I think,” said Athos. He wasn’t. How could he? It was his first task as captain of the musketeers, but it was also burying his mentor, the man who had given him back a place in the world when he thought there might be nowhere left for him. This was no fake funeral, no clever scheme, and thanks to Treville’s long royal service, it would be a much grander occasion than an ordinary soldier’s farewell. Every time he tried to start on the plans he was overwhelmed by the loss and ended up staring, numb and unseeing at the clutter on the desk in front of him.

“I still can’t believe he’s really gone,” said Aramis.

But it had been two days since they had both knelt in the mud beside Captain Treville as he struggled to force his final words past the pain of the chest wound that was rapidly darkening his uniform. “So proud… Always,” he had said, and then closed his eyes, as if simply going to sleep.

“I know,” said Athos, looking back down at the desk. “I feel like he’s here, watching me get this all wrong.”

He heard a strangled yelp from Aramis, which he took as an objection to his self-deprecation. But it was true, he felt Treville’s presence everywhere in this office, could almost hear the pacing of his boots across the floor. And Treville would hardly have approved of melancholy reverie when there was work to be done.

“You aren’t getting it wrong Athos,” said Aramis after a moment, “But let us help with this, please? Being in charge doesn’t mean you have to take this on alone.”

He nodded and Aramis went to call Porthos and d’Artagnan up from the yard. As he did so, a breeze, which must have come from the briefly open door, shifted the papers on the desk, uncovering an earlier draft of the funeral schedule and, looked at afresh, Athos could suddenly see how to start to make it workable.

***

The yelp had not been a response to Athos’s words, although it did hurt to see the man look so lost and hurt in the role that anyone with a lick of sense could see he was born to fill.

No, the yelp had been because right behind his careworn friend, the shimmering outline of their late captain had appeared, gradually solidifying, until he was simply a slightly translucent shade of his former self. The ghost - it was either a ghost or a figment of his grief-addled mind and Aramis was reasonably confident of his own sanity - lifted a finger to its lips.

“Help him,” it said.

There was no suggestion that Athos had heard the words, or was aware that his notion that Treville was watching over him might be truly the case. But at any rate, the ghost was right. Athos clearly did need help with this and had no idea how to ask for it, when he had only just been given the burden of command.

But Treville had been more than just a commanding officer for all of them and it would be right for all of them to share this sad task, as brothers should for a father, without letting it all fall on the eldest.

The Late Captain Treville nodded agreement with his words, and as Aramis went to call for the others, he saw the ghost stoop over the desk and brush some papers aside, still unnoticed by Athos. By the time he returned with Porthos and d’Artagnan in tow, the ghost was gone.

With all four of them working on the plans, and keeping each other distracted from too much silent grief, they soon had enough for Athos to take to the palace.

Constance/d'Artagnan, Silly/Fun/Kinky Sex

Date: 2014-03-29 03:24 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Constance has a kink that is (at least in her eyes) pretty silly/ridiculous (fucking someone with flowers braided in their hair? surgeon/wounded soldier roleplay? literally buttering someone up and pretending they're a baguette?), but is something she has *always* wanted to try. Of course she would never even suggest it to her husband, but she broaches the subject to d'Artagnan. He's totally up for it, and they proceed to have some immensely satisfying sex.

Bonus points if it's not something he finds hot, but he's happy to do it for her, and he loves that she enjoys it so much.

Athos does something dangerous that ends up for the best and he saves a bunch of people or gets the bad guy or whatever. Maybe he gets a little scuffed up idk.

After the mission, Treville asks to speak with him, and instead of giving kudos or asking for a detailed debrief, he immediately starts dressing down Athos for recklessness. Athos takes it for awhile but eventually he starts getting fed up and snaps back. Things get heated and eventually Treville let's slip his real issue- something along the lines of "someday, when you are in my place, you'll understand that your best soldier is worth more than the next ten combined." Not picky about words. Just the reveal that Treville sees Athos as his replacement and more precious to the garrison than anyone else. How does Athos react to the new information?

Would prefer gen but can lean any direction the Filler would like.

AU D'Artagnan died at the Inn but didn't realise

Date: 2014-03-29 01:01 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
D'Artagnan was killed at the Inn alongside his father, only he came back as a ghost and his mind blocked out the shock of dying: making him believe he's still alive.

Fueled by revenge for this father D'Artagnan became a poltergeist. A REALLY powerful one. One that appears real aside from an unusual coldness. As he doesn't realise he's dead he's solid. After everything was resolved, he started haunting Athos, Aramis and Porthos, again without realising it.

One day during a fight D'Artagnan gets 'fatally' injured. Only he's absolutely fine because the sword goes through him like air.

Cue freak out and D'Artagnan remembering that died and has been a ghost this entire time.

Afterwards they keep it a secret, D'Artagnan carries on haunting them and his ghostly abilities come in really useful.

I really want some dub-con with Aramis. I don't care about the scenario, or who it's with (though please not one of the other three, unless they've been coerced as well.)

I'd just love some angsty, h/c Aramis.

While I LOVE all the incredibly hot OT3 smut going around this meme, I'd really love to see OT3 just being incredibly schmoopy & affectionate with each other. Whether its cuddling in bed, forehead kisses, rubbing each other dry after a bath...rot my teeth out anons!

Loooong-term relationship

So, the first flush of new love is all exciting and stuff - you're learning more and more about this new person, how you fit together, what works and what doesn't.

But what I really, really love is a long-term, settled relationship. It's not all new and dramatic, it's not all fireworks and passionate declarations, but it can be a deep burn of contented joy, where being without the other person is about as sensible as being without your head, even if they are frequently ridiculous or occasionally frustrating.

I'm partial to Porthos/Aramis - 15 years down the line, retired and relaxed, but I've not yet come across a Musketeers pairing I can't ship, so if a different couple/OTsome grabs you, I'd love to know.

(I suspect this prompt may require the anon!auth to ignore the final book in the series - this is fine by me, I think the series is taking a different path anyway)

Aramis is just like Milady - a creature of the Cardinal. A deadly assassin but not driven like her by revenge.
Porthos meets him as Physician Rene. He is just like he is in the show just not a Musketeer.

How does he manage his double life?
And what happens when the time comes to truly chose sides?

Do with this as you will.

Bonus points if you manage to stick as closely to the show as possible (Savoy etc.)

Whether its fussing over them when they're injured, being a source of comfort when they're down or praising them for a job well done - just give me anything with Treville looking after his boys.
