If your prompt alludes to the book or any of the other adaptations, please let us know which one.

Lastly, prompt freezes (which I have to say I’m really not fond of) etc will be at the mod’s discretion. I will decide on a prompt cut-off point for prompt posts once I know how fast the meme moves.

size kink porthos/aramis

I've been looking at a cast photo of the boys all lined up together (I thinks it's from The Good Soldier as the guy playing Marsac is there too) and couldn't help but notice how the lovely Howard just looms magnificently, even with his beaming smile.

I would like some size kink, please, from Porthos' pov, where he and Aramis are in bed together and Porthos is getting off on how Aramis is smaller and slighter than he is. Bonus points for 'manhandling' and Aramis loving it too!

Harlequin Romance; Athos/d'Artagnan preferred

Date: 2014-04-29 09:35 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
A Harlequin Romance AU!

Any cheesy scenario you can think up - marriage of convenience? The rancher who falls for the new neighbor? Pretending to be a couple to fool the government/family/whoever?

The more ridiculous, the better!

I prefer Athos/d'Artagnan, but if the muse strikes you, I would love to read anything.

Purple prose and "shimmering orbs of crystal emerald/azure/smoke" optional.

Aramis h/c

Aramis is wounded someplace far from home. He has to stay conscious to help/instruct someone on how to save his life. Could be one of the lads, or maybe an outside pov.

Seconded. Maybe I'm evil, but I like whumping the healers in the group.

It’s always an issue when the main medic gets injured. We have seen Porthos deal with a gunshot wound in the show, so we know he can deal with injuries too. So one of the others, or something really different to what they’re used to dealing with?

Futuristic Sci-Fi AU

From: (Anonymous)
Not sure if this counts as a kink exactly, but I love AU's and while there has been some wonderful ones, most have been set in the 21st century. How about somthing a bit further ahead...

Athos, the cynical, embittered space captain; Porthos the freedom fighter; Aramis the pleasure 'bot; d'Artagnan the eager young cadet (or a trader, who's father is murdered, leaving him stranded on a planet with no way off - so he tries to either smuggle himself on board or offer to work on Athos' ship)

Somehow they all get brought together. How does that work out...

From: (Anonymous)
Okay – this is not a fill. I just couldn’t help but think too much about this. I wish I could write. I hope someone comes along and does this prompt justice, because as you can see, I really like the idea.

Athos used to be captain of a very swanky ship in some super important fleet. But then the incident happened: his wife murdered his younger brother, who was also his second in command. So angry he had her spaced (or did he?) whilst in a rage. Once he calmed down the act haunted him ever since. If only he had had her put into the brig and questioned, to find out what had occurred? Now he will never know. Put under question by his higher ups and his own conscience, he quits the fleet, eventually taking a job captaining one of Commander Treville’s run down ships (doing security)?

Porthos, a freedom fighter coming from one of the run down planets the fleet exploits, had managed to sneak on-board one of the higher up ships in the fleet, and stole (rescued! Aramis insists) the captain’s super expensive and rare pleasure-bot with advance AI (only 22 made, 20 of which were destroyed in an accident and another corrupted and ran off leaving only Aramis behind, obeying his code.) During the escape, Porthos finds himself coming to like the AIs personality despite his better judgement and comes to see Aramis as an individual in his own right.

And while initially Porthos had just stolen the AI as a massive 'fuck you' to the captain (who had just done something absolutely horrible and yet was congratulated for it instead of punished) he comes to love Aramis as a friend and is super protective of the AI.

Somehow, after an epic chase spanning years and multiple planets and ships, Porthos and Aramis found themselves on Athos ship. (I think Treville knows about them, and is possibly even the reason they are there – I wonder what it is he has against the fleet too).

Aramis himself is happy to have left the pleasure work behind, but cannot help his own code and often finds himself flirting (and more) with people. But Athos and Porthos try to stop it from going too far.

D’Artagnan was a merchant’s son. While transporting supplies to some of the fleet ships, his father’s ship comes under attack, suffering great loss of life and becoming unusable. Somehow, the information on the attacking ship comes up as Athos', even though they were nowhere near at the time.

Having lost his father, a crew so close they were like family, and his father’s ship, d’Artagnan starts a revenge fuelled search for this Athos, planet and ship hopping, tracking down any lead he can find.

But events are even more complicated then it seems and d’Artagnan actually ends up helping to clear Athos' name and with nothing else to do, joins the crew.

Athos/Aramis - protective

Date: 2014-04-30 08:40 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Watching the dueling scene again, it occurs to me that Athos' barely controlled anger stems from the fact that the Duke had hurt (and previously almost killed) Aramis.

I'd love to read something that highlights the relationship between Athos and Aramis - gen or slash - particularly with Athos being protective/angry on Aramis' behalf.

Sympathy for Bonacieux [GEN]

Date: 2014-04-30 11:32 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
This ( essay pretty much sums up my feels on Bonacieux. He seems to be vilified by the majority of fandom, so I'd like to see a more sympathetic take on him. I don't really have anything special in mind (though maybe something involving Athos, seeing as they've both kind of been screwed over by their wives?), just... treat Bonacieux kindly, anon.

Re: Sympathy for Bonacieux [GEN]

Date: 2014-04-30 12:12 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
I actually agree with this essay! Not with all of how it's worded, but I do think up to ep8 we had every reason to think Bonacieux was just a guy angry his wife had an affair. Which is totally reasonable to be angry about!

I don't think any of that meant he deserved vilification, and would have liked to see something exploring his pov in more depth.

It's harder to view him in a favourable light after the abusive emotional blackmail and controlling behavior in 10. Do things the way I want, or I'll kill myself is...abusive. Break up with your boyfriend or I'll threaten him made sense, but the emotional abuse really bothered me, and impacted my sympathy for the character.

I would still love it if someone could write his pov, or his relationship with Constance into something more favourable! He seems like a guy who's not really cut out for adventure impacting his life, maybe he could have friends in the merchant class who are supportive of him, and help him deal with letting Constance go?

Gen/OT4, D'Artagnan-centric

Date: 2014-04-30 03:23 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Being the newbie is hard, y'know? There are inside jokes you don't know, bonds spanning years, etc. Imagine how much harder it has to be when you're joining the Three Inseparables. Like that's what Paris knows them as.

I figure D'Artagnan is smart enough to pick up on this. He's the newcomer, and he doesn't take it personally, but he notices. I want a scenario where D'Artagnan recognizes that he's been embraced by this trio, but that there's still a strong history without him, and he's cool with that, because he's here now and he can start being part of that history with his own inside jokes.

Maybe five times D'Artagnan recognized the Inseparables' shared history and accepted it like a boss, and one time he was totally WITH them (or one time he runs into an old friend from Lupiac while with the trio and the shoe is on the other foot).

Gen or OT4 is nice!

Fencing AU

Date: 2014-04-30 06:54 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
A modern (or modern-ish) fencing team AU, preferably gen. Athos is near the end of his career and his personal life is in shambles, but he's trying to keep it together long enough for one last foil championship. Aramis is that fencer who salutes God before a bout, but he's good enough that nobody holds it against him (much). Porthos is that guy who is terrifying on piste but ends every bout with a smile and a genuine handshake. D'Artagnan is the new, up-and-coming foilist who has thus far survived on raw talent and a great fleche. I like the idea of Aramis as a sabre fencer and Porthos doing epee, but feel free to change it up.

Hi anon!

I trust you're aware of this story over on AO3:
From: (Anonymous)
This prompt was born from my embarrassing error. During the first episodes, I mistook the twined tail of Porthos' bandana for a really long ponytail, which I though was odd considering his otherwise short hair.

Anyway, that mistake inspired this thought: Porthos is a strong man of the Dothraki, maybe even Khal, and his hair means it's been long since he was defeated in a fight. Look at Porthos during the fork duel and Khal Drogo's fight with Mago: they move in the same fluent way, just dodging the attacks with badassery, and their thick muscles are the equally impressive.

So, something with this. As for ships, romance, location (GoT/Paris?), kidnapped musketeer slave being claimed, inspirational, threatening speeches, protective themes; just go for it; I'm okay with it all.
From: (Anonymous)
Oh god I'm not the only one then who made that error! XD

probably add a dub-con/non-con warning for the slave bit?
From: (Anonymous)
I love the moniker, difficult to say, but I like it.

Prompting classic Hurt/Comfort smut and snuggles

Following the events in Sleight of Hand

Athos and d`Artagnan spend some "alone time" together, d`Artagnan breaking down a revealing how scared he was while he was tied to the gun powder, Athos treating his injuries and telling him how worried he was, followed by comfort, "Thank god we`re both alive" sex

Big bonus if Vadim actually cut off a couple of d`Artagnan`s fingers before he was willing to accept him into the group.
From: (Anonymous)
After problems at hom during his early adolescence d`Artagnan ran away and spent a couple of years on the streets.
Vulnerable and alone he was taken in by a manipulative and dangerous man, a former rich man and son of Nobility funding his life style by pimping out young boys and girls.

After a time d`Artagnan managed to escape that life and went home, never revealing anything of what happened to him during those years on the streets, now several years later, while working for the Musketeers his past comes back to haunt him, as his former Pimp has been brought to court to answer for rumours of his life style before the King.

Recognising d`Artagnan he sets about black mailing the Musketeer with the threat of revealing his past to everyone including his new lover Athos.

I`d like a happy ending if possible and protective loving and angry Athos

Aramis/Richelieu, non-con/dub-con, blackmail

Date: 2014-05-01 03:33 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Prompt is long and dark and includes the warnings above and also possible forced prostitution and humiliation.

Richelieu wants revenge on Aramis for his affair with Adele. Deciding that what will cut the Musketeer the most deeply is harm coming to his friends, he goes after Porthos and Athos (maybe he loans Porthos out to some of his red guards, punishes Athos for allowing his men to go around unchecked, blackmails them both into it by threatening to have Aramis killed, idk). Aramis can't stand his friends being hurt because of him, so he goes to the Cardinal and outright begs to be punished. The Cardinal obliges and fucks him right there in the office.

Fill: Aramis/Richelieu tw dub con 1/5 Debts

Date: 2014-05-06 02:36 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
The first indication Aramis has that something is amiss is when Porthos ignores the vague but still definitely directed taunts of the Red Guards lounging outside the palace gates when they leave after their assigned body guarding stint. He knows his friend has heard from the way his face tightens, his gait becoming stiffer and more measured, though no quicker. He’s about to pass a comment, something about Porthos learning to pick his battles and not always dragging Aramis into trouble with him, when he sees the dark look in Porthos’ eyes. If it was just anger, he’d have no hesitation in needling him further, but there’s something worse lying under it, something that in a different man Aramis might label as shame. It stills his tongue for a second, and by the time he’s thought that perhaps he should query the nature of the problem, the moment has passed, and he ends up saying nothing.

His second indication is the way that, even under the influence of all the wine Aramis’ limited funds and less limited charm can procure for them, Porthos’ tongue fails to loosen. Porthos is rarely silent on anything sober and his uncharacteristic, tactless redirection of any attempts at questioning disturb Aramis deeply.

Unsettled and concerned, but unwilling to push any matter putting that look into Porthos’ eyes, Aramis falls back on his second option – questioning Athos about what he knows or has noticed. That’s his third indication, the way that, at the mention that Porthos is acting as though he has some shame to hide, Athos’ hands clench into fists and his head drops. He mutters something under his breath that he refuses to repeat and when his gaze flicks back up to meet Aramis’ it’s hard and opaque, revealing nothing and therefore, too much. Athos might think himself unreadable, but Aramis has known him too well for too long for that to be truly the case, and he knows that when Athos is at his most stone faced, it is when he thinks he has the most to lose by revealing his thoughts.

Something is certainly going on, and if his friends won’t tell him, Aramis is more than capable of finding someone who will. It is the work of but a few hours one evening to locate one of the guards who had taunted Porthos. He is sloppy and drunk and easily subdued, and Aramis barely has to interrogate him, he is only too eager to brag about how the Cardinal had been able to secure Porthos’ services as a serving boy at the Red Guard regimental banquet earlier that week. It’s only by the slenderest margin that Aramis keeps from killing him outright and he only manages that by reminding himself firmly of what might rain down on his friends if he does so.

What the Cardinal has on Porthos to be able to force him to do such a thing is a mystery. Porthos’ vices are – surely – far beneath the Cardinal’s notice? And anyway, why would Athos be involved in an issue between Porthos and the Cardinal without informing him? And his instincts tell him that it is the same issue.

He’s inclined to doubt the Red Guard’s words, to dismiss them as nothing more than empty taunts, but when he enters the training yard the next morning and sees Porthos, (pale and obviously unrested, flinching at shadows) and Athos, (hunched in on himself and even more mono syllabic than usual, meeting no one’s gaze) he knows he has to follow up any lead, however tenuous. When Treville dismisses them he makes his way back to the palace and requests an audience with the Cardinal.

He has to wait for so long that darkness has fallen outside, but at last he is called forward. He stumbles a little as he moves towards the door, legs almost asleep where he has been standing so long. The Cardinal’s office is still brightly lit, but the lamps allow him to cast a long shadow, cloak rippling behind him and giving the impression of a winged predatory animal. Aramis refuses to acknowledge his unease, instead sweeping off his hat and giving a short bow.

Intuitive Inseparables BroT3/maybe BroT4

Date: 2014-05-01 05:42 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
I love the moment in the series where Athos is upset with Ninon for lying to him and Aramis very gently says something along the lines of, "She was protecting the girls, not lying to you." Because even though he didn't know Athos's specific history at that point, he clearly knew Athos well enough to go right to the heart of what was bothering him.

Thus the prompt. I'd really love to see a 5 times the three (or four) musketeers showed intuitively how well they know each other, and maybe the one time Treville (or a still new d'Artagnan, or someone else) caught on without too much needing to be explained.

Bonus for the boys being the best bros ever. :)

Aramis - Self esteem issues, religion (tw)

From: (Anonymous)
Aramis knows that he's good-looking. And charming. And a great lover.

He also knows that he's Not a Good Person. He's a ruthless, cold blooded killer and well aware of it. He knows what he has done in the past and what he would do again and again for the greater good. And while he accepts his lot in life, it's not who his parents raised him to be and it's not how a Good Person should be according to his beliefs.

Basically, he's pretty convinced he's going straight to hell after death.

When he lets this slip out, the others subtly trying to convince him otherwise.

There seems to be so many prompts focusing on Aramis and Porthos being the ultimate BFFs, with Athos brooding somewhere on the sideline (if he's even in the fic to begin with), and that just makes me sad.

Give me fluffy BrOT3! There are no favorites here - the three of them are equally fond of each other and disturbingly codependent! I just want something that shows the love and trust that exists between these three bros (bonus points if d'Artagnan spends most of his time shaking his head at them going "this isn't healthy, guys. You're all crazy" (though secretly he's all "omg, you guys are awesome. BrOT4, plz? :)").

So the musketeers have been naughty and after a severe Treville has no choice but to punish all four.

They all get punished together (how is up to anon - does he thrash them? Set them doing drill until they drop? I can see him being a strict disciplinarian) and at the end of the day retreat back to someone's rooms to commiserate together.

Because I have a thing for stern!Treville and the boys suffer so wonderfully.

Motor racing AU

From: (Anonymous)
Would love to see a motor-racing AU. My frame of reference is Formula 1, but I'd be equally happy with Indycar/NASCAR or even a different championship entirely!

- Treville as the team boss.
- Athos: multiple times champion who 5 years ago was on course for yet another championship win when he literally and metaphorically crashed out (and the thing with Milady happened). Now his between-race & off-season drinking binges are legendary (and occasionally the stuff of tabloid front pages), and he's hanging onto his career by the skin of his teeth & Treville's loyalty.
- d'Artagnan: first-season rookie who's already showing the potential to be as good as Athos was at his best, if only he would stop letting his heart rule his head & stop getting into on-track incidents.
- Porthos & Aramis: race engineers to d'Artagnan and Athos. (or maybe Aramis has some other role on the team, like a medical, physio or some such? )
-Richelieu &his Red Guards as another team?

Leaving any pairngs up to author!anon -I'm pretty happy with most.

BrOT3 scenario

Date: 2014-05-01 05:48 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Athos and Porthos fall down a well. A deep, crumpled or hidden well. Aramis has to find and rescue them, but he's injured in some way. Musket ball in the side, dislocated shoulder, anything that might make this extra challenging for him. Maybe he was knocked out during the fight when they fell so he didn't even see what happened to them. Their voices barely carry out of the well they're stuck in, and they're cold, very cold, and getting worse.

Athos and d'Art - Awkward situations.

Date: 2014-05-01 06:20 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Athos gets the whole mentoring deal. He doesn't like it, but he gets it. The kid needs some guidance and it's way past time he does some good in the world.
But he can't help the insane desire to bang his head repeatedly on the nearest surface with some of the downright absurd and awkward questions the kid approach him about.

Can be a five times thing with one being d'Artagnan asking Athos about Porthos/Aramis and not getting that they're in a discrete relationship.
Bonus for Athos trying to maintain an aloof closed off demeanor, but d'Artagnan totally not buying it.

Art Prompt

From: (Anonymous)
I don't know if this is allowed or if I need to ask permission first, but I would really love it if any of you talented artists out there would be willing to draw an image for this fic, which was a fill for a previous prompt:

My love would be true and enteral if you could give me the image at the end of the fic of a an exhausted and worried Aramis pressing his cross into the fingers of a gravely injured Athos. Bonus if you can work in worried d'Artagnan and Porthos in the background.

I have no real artistic talent but it's fun to see a prompt like this. I don't see many art prompts and I often wish I could get some images from my favorite fics too, even just to see how others might imagine them. You picked a good one. That moment at the end with Athos fumbling for his medallion and being all disoriented just killed me.

Aramis was lined up waiting for the Duke at the start of the episode The Good Soldier - but I guess the Duke had other things on his mind. Perhaps the Duke remembers him later... or perhaps on leaving Paris the Duke encounters a rain soaked Aramis, who's looking for some solitude after burying Marsac, and Aramis' face triggers his memory. Either way, the Duke knows this is the one man in all of France who can definitely place him at the scene of the massacre. (Let's ignore the fact that it's highly unlikely any one would take the word of a musketeer over that of a Duke.) I'd love either of the very different scenarios:

Either he tries to have Aramis killed out in the woods - like poor Adele - but it backfires when Aramis escapes. Maybe with a musket wound to the head that causes him to lose his memory. Cue the others anxiously looking for him. I leave it to you what becomes of poor Aramis in the interval - does he believe himself to be a bad guy (recalls killing people, but not why in flashbacks)

Or, the Duke and Duchess take Aramis home with them as their 'new pet'. They seemed very passionate, but I could also see them seeing others as playthings. I'd like the other three to eventually track Aramis down and rescue him. I'd prefer it if the Duke and Duchess aren't physically cruel to Aramis, just motivated to seek their own pleasure (and each others') with him. Maybe a bit of Stockholm Syndrome ensues.

Richelieu wants revenge for d`Artagnan out smarting him, he hates the Musketeer more than all the others put together, and he wants to make him suffer for his part in shaming him to the Queen.

He has d`Artagnan falsely accused of some crime and arraigned at the Chaterlat prison, while he has no intention of seeing d`Artagnan actually being punished for this false crime, while in the Chaterlat he is alone and at the Mercy of the Cardinal and the Red Gaurds.

While Athos, Porthos, and Aramis are out proving d`Artagnan`s innocence, d`Artagnan locked away in the Chaterlat where no one can hear him screaming is subjected to torture and abuse at the hands of the Cardinal and the Red Gaurds.

Once d`Artagnan is free it`s up to Athos, Aramis and Porthos to pick up the pieces and help d`Artagnan over come whats happened to him.

Non Con is optional I put the TW up in case filler chooses to use it, and torture can be non graphic.
d`Artagnan/O3 please or d`Artagnan/Athos

Richelieu finds out about OT3 and threatens to Treville that he will expose them - if he does, they'll be dismissed from the regiment and very possibly hung.

Treville would die himself before he'd let anything happen to those three, who he has come to view as surroate sons rather than mere soldiers. He agrees to do what Richelieu wants (whether this is sexual or if he wants to use Treville to help him get his way at court is up to anon).

Would love if the boys find out about it and rush in to save the day before Treville can go through with it.

Hybrids d`Artagnan/Athos Aramis/Porthos

Shamelessly inspired by Neko-Aire Rarity comes in handy series.

In a world where everyone has an animal shift and male pregnancy is possible and marriages are more oftern based upon likeness between animal forms ie Feline to feline, bird to bird, canine to canine, so that breeding will not create vast diverse mutation.

Our four Musketeers meet and become united, despite their deference in breeds being frowned upon, they prove to all that such things are both good and blessed and not something to be feared.

Possible Animal shifts

Athos Alpha Wolf
d`Artagnan Panther
Aramis Falcon
Porthos Bear
Treville Fox (Inspired by Louis line in Challenge when he called Treville his old fox
Cardinal Bat!?
Milady Snake
Louis Peacock
Anne Swan
Constance Lioness
Bonacieux Mountain Lion

Mpreg is not mandatory but I do have a weakness for it, and would prefer d`Art and Aramis to be the ones getting knocked up

This sounds great, but oh god, my mind made me think of Aramis laying an egg. What.

Off prompt a bit, but I like the way you have Louis, Anne and Aramis as birds. Not that your prompt has it going the tv show way (I don't know what my brain is doing tonight, Aramis/Porthos are my fave, but I actually don't mind Anne/Aramis), but if it happened like it did in the show, at least they are all birds. Although there is a huge difference between Peacocks and Falcons. The baby had better be a Swan is all I'm saying. For everyone's continued health.

Shutting up now. I hope this gets filled, mpreg and all.

Porthos/any, begging

Date: 2014-05-01 09:13 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
I just want Porthos so desperate to be touched/be pleasured/cum that he's begging for it. Not the growling sort of impatient 'begging' you sometimes see in fic, but the breathless sort of half-panicked half-whimpering ohdearlordpleasedon'tstopnowpleasetouchmepleaseplease begging and making all sorts of other pretty noises. Because of... reasons... that might have to do... with something I just watched... um. I'm partial to Porthos/Aramis but anyone will do.
