Welcome to the BBC The Musketeers kink meme

The lowdown: You post your prompt, anon or not. Someone else will hopefully fill it (also anon or not). Not for profit, just for fun. And in this case, for king and country.

Anon is on, IP logging is off.

Rules:
No wank
No kink-shaming
Be respectful to everyone
The mod is not your babysitter
Use the warnings
No prompts with characters under the age of 16 in sexual situations, please.
Please keep the discussions in the prompt post to a minimum. We have a discussion post

Mandatory trigger warnings/warnings for both prompts and fills:
non-con/dub-con
abuse (physical and mental)
issues such as racism, sexism, homo-/trans-/-bi-/ace-phobia etc
character death
suicide
self-harm
eating disorders
extreme physical or mental illness
substance abuse (alcohol, drugs, medication)
bullying
gore and horror

If this list misses anything, do let me know, though please understand that if absolutely everything is added this list will never end.

You are encouraged and advised to add additional warnings at your own discretion.

Please make use of the subject line.

If your prompt alludes to the book or any of the other adaptations, please let us know which one.

Lastly, prompt freezes (which I have to say I’m really not fond of) etc will be at the mod’s discretion. I will decide on a prompt cut-off point for prompt posts once I know how fast the meme moves.

Porthos and Athos have always been the dominant participants in their relationship with Aramis, the latter enjoying being manhandled. And as the time has gone on and the three have become more sexually comfortable and confident with one another, their sex has also become rougher.

After a long mission Treville has given the three inseperables the week of and after Aramis hints that he looks forward to a weekend filled with non-stop sex, following a discussion between his two lovers they decide they want to make Aramis their plaything for the weekend. As soon as Aramis has agreed the game is on.

Cue lots of bondage, toys, teasing and using of Aramis as the other two do what they want with him, never stoping even when he begs them to (remember they are not forcing him, they have a safe word). Even when they are not in the bedroom they boss him around, punishing him if his usual cheek becomes to frequent, as agreed; for the weekend Aramis is still theirs to do with as they wish after all he is still their toy!

What it says on the tin. The boys rough-house and mess around and of course it leads to sex!

Aramis is cursed AU(ish) BroT3/OT3

Date: 2014-08-20 03:30 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Aramis is cursed to be 100% exactly obedient to Athos. BroT3 or OT3 are both fine (or even BroT4) I just think mostly this could be super interesting as Gen since these kinds of prompts usually end up slash (which, really, who can blame them?). So, yeah, Gen preferred for this one.

Obviously this would be kind of an alternative universe where such things as curses exist, but even so, I'd like it to be as close to show canon as possible so that there is doubt in such things as curses, and they're not very common, etc.

Bonus if the trope of a scorned woman or witch being the one to curse him is avoided.

Extra bonus if part of the way they figure out that Aramis has been cursed is that Athos tells him not to move as he absently flicks a bug off his shoulder and walks away, only to return hours later to find Aramis in the same spot/same position and unable to move.

No non-con or dub-con for this one, please.

Treville is looking for soldiers with exceptional and unusual talents. Once he has found enough, they will form the backbone of the Musketeer company (to be created in 1622).

He approaches the Comte de la Fere, who is doing his military service for the king. La Fere refuses the offer as he is not a career soldier, but promises to keep an eye out for any likely prospects.

Over the next few weeks he several times sees a certain very young soldier (no older than his brother Thomas whom he considers little more than a child) under various circumstances. He never learns the boy's name (they are in different regiments) but does feel he has great potential and describes him to Treville.

The last time he sees the youngster he is standing over a fallen comrade, beset by enemies. La Fere goes to his aid and together they kill the assailants but not before Aramis is stabbed. La Fere carries him to safety but is then called away to his own regiment and never finds out whether he survived. Or not till they meet properly for the first time several years later.

And if you could work Porthos in as well that would be great.

Aramis is currently in a relationship with a man that is abusing him at home. As far as his new boyfriend is concerned he can't do anything right and blames him for anything that goes wrong, subjecting him to both physical and mental abuse.

The longer the relationship goes on, the more Aramis becomes less of himself, he begins spending less and less time with his friends or at the garrison, ultimately only when he is needed for duty, so that he can be at home cleaning the house, cooking dinner, doing anything in his power to please his boyfriend.

Of course the other three have noticed the change in their friend and never having liked him from the off, begin to suspect that Aramis boyfriend is the cause behind their friends new persona. No longer is Aramis his charming witty self, he is now much quieter and even more reserved in the way he wears his uniform and carries himself.

The others determination to discover whats wrong with him only amplifies when they accidentally discover all his bruises, marks and cuts he's so desperately been trying to hide from them, but when Aramis denies the allegations against his boyfriend and refuses to leave him, its up to the other three to come up with any other way to get him away from this monster.

Filler can decided whether this stays as gen or ends up as something more.

Yay, I'm back with another unusual kink!

WAM (wet and messy) fetishism is the love of all things sloppy, slimy and dirty when it comes to sex. So, give me two or more characters wrestling in knee-deep, slippery-soft mud and deciding "You know what? This actually feels really good. Fuck it-- let's have sex!!"

Not fussed about pairings; not fussed about het vs. slash vs. multi. Not fussed about canon vs. AU. If you can set it up in a somewhat believable way, that's awesome. If you can't... you know what? DOESN'T MATTER; HAD WAMSEX.

As far as my personal kink, I'm all about the sensation play-- cool mud feels *really good* on overheated skin. I'm also a huge fan of breath control and smothering; love the idea of a character on their back being pinned and slowly pressed down into the muck until it creeps up over their eyes, nose, and mouth. Preferably while something else that feels REALLY GOOD is being done to them while they struggle for breath.

No non-con, please.

Alright, lovely anons-- make it happen!

Same anon as above, I'm just re-stating this one a little because it's late and re-reading it I realize my punctuation was crap and it might have come off a little jumbled. So redux:

Aramis gets into a dark headspace regarding the situation with Queen Anne. Athos, realizing Aramis really needs to talk about it and know he's not alone, takes Aramis somewhere and helps pull him out of his headspace, further helping him to get some perspective on the situation and convincing him to rely on his brothers and not try to carry it all alone.

Porthos/Athos - Real Brother?

Date: 2014-08-22 09:04 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
okay, so Porthos told that his mother came to Paris after she was freed. What he didn't know was, that she stopped along the way.

And Athos does have a vague memory of a dark-skinned women walking through the halls of his childhood home. She was very kind to him, and even had a picture painted. But he was so young and so many things happened since them. Why should he remember her, and her very - very - sudden departure?
Years later, as a wounded Porthos is left behind at the Le Fere state, he wanders around and stumbles across a picture of a very beautiful woman he regonices as his mother, standing next to a man who resembles Athos very much.

I would like Porthos and Athos to be together, and now had to deal with the fact that they might be brothers by blood. No demand that they actually are, but the uncertainty is there. And they have to figure out what is means to them and if it comes between their relationship.

Does this fall under incest? I guess it does, in some way.

S01E10 Fake Death Scene from Athos POV

Date: 2014-08-25 02:34 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
In honor of the series finale on BBC America last night, could I get the faked death scene from Athos' POV? I've been reading some really excellent subbiest-sub!Athos stuff on AO3 lately, and started thinking that Athos may have found the whole thing rather reassuring, and even downright restful-- given his not-very-well-hidden suicidal tendencies.

So, I'd really love to see Athos playing his part, and surprising himself with how easy he finds it to rest in Porthos' arms, totally relaxed, and let the others manhandle him and take care of his "body".

Not really after slash or sexuality here, though of course the details are always up to Author!Anon. I'm mostly interested in the aspect of surrender, and maybe Athos undergoing a bit of an epiphany about what he'd be giving up if he ever did succumb to his inner darkness.

He did seem super trusting of Porthos and Aramis in that moment. Love.
From: (Anonymous)
I initially assumed from the first hazy out of focus flashback we had of Anne beneath the tree, that Athos has quite poor eyesight, and the accidental headcanon has stuck. My prompt is that between them the three inseperables all have vulnerabilities that are overlooked because they're so incredible at their jobs, and they cover for each other - Aramis always does the scouting because his eyes are the sharpest, but maybe he doesn't hear the best, especially in battle, and they all know that if they make Porthos run too far he'll wheeze like he's been kicked in the chest.

Problem is, d'Artagnan doesn't know these things and keeps accidentally drawing attention. (Dear God, boy, don't shout at the back of his head, the Captain can't pretend to ignore what you're parading in front of his face)

To educate him... Some sensory deprivation please?
From: (Anonymous)
Very interesting way to heighten the awareness between them. Howard Charles did say in an interview that together the three made the perfect warrior, so seeing them cover each other like this prompt indicates... gold. With d'Artagnan as the Cherry on top. :)

Fear of spiders. 17th century version of clowns. Anything, really.
From: (Anonymous)
Yes, please. I'm all about the angst but this could make a good lighter touch. Love switch-ups like this.

What was the 17th century version of clowns? Were there clowns in the 17th century? Jesters? I think my brain is jumping from fictional King Arthur's court straight to Barnim and Bailey. Nothing in between.

Gen, I think, for this one. Or maybe OT3. I think there is a story where Aramis was sexually abused as a child (a story I'm dying to see finished), so similar theme, but for this prompt I'd like to see physically abused Aramis as a kid with the others finding out about it. I would prefer if it wasn't his parents who did it, but perhaps he was given to a patron during his studies who beat him up severely.

Porthos and Athos have always noticed that there are scars on his body that didn't come from battle wounds. Nightmares or something brings it up and they finally get him to talk about them.

I'd actually be cool if author!anon wanted to switch the prompt up and have Porthos or Athos be the one who was physically abused as a kid (totally believable for any of the three I think) - Just prefer it to be one of the three, with the others finding out about it and having to deal with their feelings about something that happened so long ago they can't do anything about it.
From: (Anonymous)
Like. Being partial to any of the three, I'd love any possibility.
From: (Anonymous)
Porthos' line (I'm thinking of fainting for something to do) was a joking stab at Athos who has passed out with heat stroke (though the hangover might have had something to do with it) in the past. He was expecting Aramis to laugh, because it's a much mocked event.

The gentle mockery of people who are actually worried please, followed by the frustration of realising the drink might be involved and trying to hide that from the Captain

Dunno if this has been prompted before, but I am suddenly in the need for some Musketeers being caught in a situation without their clothes on.

Like bathing in a lake after a long trip only for some bandits to nick all their clothes\weapons\horses, and them having to track them down and fight to get their stuff back.

Or could be each of them individually caught out in some scenario where the have to fight the bad guy(s) sans-clothing.

Partial Amnesia (temporary)

Established OT3.

Aramis suffers a blow to the head during a fight. When he comes round, the last thing he remembers is wounding the leader of the 'bandits' in Savoy.

So, he knows Athos and Porthos but not yet as brothers and certainly not as lovers.

He doesn't know:
d'Artagnan
the full extent of the massacre
what happened to Marsac (up to the author whether they were lovers or merely friends at the time).

Angsty with a happy ending as his memories gradually do come back.

The boys, for some reason or other, decide to retire from their career. However, they can't stay away from each other so they move in an old house in southern France.

Treville + OT4, coming out

Inspired by a prompt sent earlier,

Coming back from the tavern, the boys notice troubling noises in Treville's room in the middle of the night. Worried, they run to save him but only to find him in an embarrassing situation with an unknown (undressed) man.

Treville thinks the boys will denounce or despise him. In fact, it's quite the opposite, they've never been so understanding and delighted for their beloved captain.

Instead of the Musketeers having to protect Anne from assassins under the Cardinals pay, they have to Protect Louis from Gallagher and his men who want to kill the king for whatever reason.

Why Louis is far from Paris with just a few Musketeers is up to Filler, maybe he wanted a break from Court in the country?, or he suffered some mild sickness and it was recomended he take the waters at Bourbourne les eaux for his health?.

Once the men attack, the Musketeers seperate, Aramis and Porthos going back to Paris to get help, while Athos and d`Artagnan take Louis to the Monestary to wait for the regiment and hold of the assassins.
While at the Monestary, Louis and d`Artagnan take Aramis and Anne`s places, and sleep together!!!!.

Big Bonus
for Athos finding them in the morning and coming out with the line "I can not believe you slept with the King!!!!!",
And for Louis and d`Artagnan to continue the relationship after they are rescued.
