Please make use of the subject line.

If your prompt alludes to the book or any of the other adaptations, please let us know which one.

Lastly, prompt freezes (which I have to say I’m really not fond of) etc will be at the mod’s discretion. I will decide on a prompt cut-off point for prompt posts once I know how fast the meme moves.

Aramis breaks down

Date: 2014-08-29 04:29 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Aramis seems to spend most of the first season doing everything he can to rein back his emotions and not let them take over, all in all with very few slip-ups in that regard. Therefore I want to see him finally totally and completely break down and lose it. Not just a temporary burst of anger or momentary tears, but totally lose it. Over Marsac, Isabelle, the Queen - all of the above?

I'd love for Athos and/or Porthos to be quietly waiting for it to happen, maybe seeing it build. And to reassure him and be there for him when it does happen - that he isn't alone, and doesn't have to deal with things by himself.

Addendum Re: Aramis breaks down

From: (Anonymous)
Quick addendum: I said I'd love for Athos and Porthos to be quietly waiting for it to happen (which I would love) but I think I'd be just as happy to see Aramis's breakdown come out of the woodwork and leave them all feeling a little whiplashed in surprise. So, either way, really.

High School AU - Gen or any pairing

Date: 2014-08-30 12:06 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Based off the tags on this tumblr post ( Athos is the guy that sits at the back of the class and doesn't even pretend to not be sleeping but when called on will come out with some pithy and accurate summation of the text. Aramis is That Guy that everyone's about 90% in love with and he's in drama and debate teams and tell you he likes your drawings. Porthos is seemingly that scary-big guy who's always outside the principal's office for unnamed terrors of delinquency but once you start chatting he's actually a MASSIVE TEDDY BEAR and carries heavy things for you. D'artagnan is the guy recently transferred from another school. His clothes are funny and he's kind of weirdly enthusiastic about odd things but he's a sport prodigy LIKE WHOA. I mean he wanders onto the playing field of choice and whoops the ball is where it's meant to go and everyone's just 'do that again' and he does it like 5 more times and coach just whispers 'yessssss'.

Slash and dinosaurs! what could be better!

Okay I have given this prompt some thought, on how it could be possible in the Seventeenth century which I would prefer to Modern AU

One way is Dinosaurs did not go completely extinct and exist on an Island near France called Isla Sorna
Or an eccentric explorer discovered frozen Dinosaur eggs, extracted blood and semen from the embryos inside and breed them with animals to create hybrid dinosaur/animals.

Either way Filler wants to do this, somehow the Musketeers end up on the Island at the mercy of dinosaurs just like in the movies I II and III, Perhaps Louis wants to go and see the dinosaurs for his Birthday or the aniversary of his accention to the throne.
Or if it`s an explorer who created the dinosaurs, then he is invited to go and see what had been created.

However they get there things go wrong, and the Musketeers have to Protect Louis, find a way off the Island, and fend off T-Rex, Raptors, Spinasourus Igypticus (The big one in J III that killed the T Rex), and any others that Filler can think of.

***** Athos is an amateur Dinosaur expert and knows about T-Rex having limited vision, and what the Dinosaurs they are fighting are called and what they`re capable of.

*******The company getting seperated, the four of them desperately worried for each other, and those with the King having to play down their concern.

***********D`Artagnan getting a nasty bite from one of the dinosaurs.

Have fun with this OT4 slash is acceptable aswell
From: (Anonymous)
This sounds interesting!
Though... even though were are talking dinosaurs, wouldn't people back then just think of them as various types of dragons?

OP: Musketeers/Jurassic Park! Aramis/Porthos Athos/D`Artagnan

From: (Anonymous)
(Ive been watching 'Outlander' and got inspired)

Its sometime after d'Artagnan finally gets his commission (episode 10), things have been rather uneventful and peaceful of late when Aramis is sent by Treville to ride out on a routine order to deliver an important letter for the King. Nothing overly important, not even a full days ride, leave in the morning and make it back by dinner... except he never comes back. The letter was delivered, but sometime after that on the road back to the garrison Aramis simply vanishes. Leaving the remaining two Inseparables worried and raging (understandably thinking the worse and that the Cardinal had something to do with it when they can find nothing or anyone that knows anything) and a mystery behind.

Meanwhile, in Paris in 2014.
A very attractive, charming, but clearly insane Spanish man dressed in period costume complete with hat, boots, skittish horse and actual weapons is wandering about Paris. Luckily most of the tourist think he's some kind of street performer and charms the locals despite his clear distress.
Needless to say Policemen Athos and Porthos, who get stuck taking the odd call are about to have an even stranger experience when the 'Crazy Hottie with the sword' upon spotting them, positively lights up and rushes over shouting their names.

Milady/Athos Divorce, D'Artagnan as their son

From: (Anonymous)
Athos, while usually unimpressed by Aramis's womanizing, doesn't really care about it overall. Unless it's a married woman, which earns Aramis Athos's disgust and judgement. Athos really can't understand what motivates Aramis to chase after married women . . . until he meets a married D'Artagnan.

A Piece Missing

From: (Anonymous)
Character death mentioned.

They are known as the 3 inseparables, they compliment and complete each other. So how would two fair if one was never there.

Aramis actually died at Savoy. Would Porthos and Athos become friends anyway. Was Aramis the catalyst that brought two people from opposite sides of life together, or were they both outcasts enough to draw to each other.

The Comte de la Fère is happily married. Aramis and Porthos have already formed an unbreakable bond, but does there recklessness get out of hand without the calm leadership of Athos, or do they take extra care to temper and guide each other, knowing their limits.

Porthos becomes a Pirate. Can Aramis beak out of his nightmare of Savoy without Porthos, is he too fragile to accept another broken soul into his life, or is it those broken hearts that bring Aramis and Athos together.

Snapshots of what could have happened if these 3 lives did not intertwine.

Musketeers behaving badly Humor prompt

Date: 2014-08-31 10:31 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
When on duty the Musketeers can always be relied upon to do everything in their power and them some to protect their King, Queen and Country.

Off duty and between missions?

Well......boys will be boys....

The Cardinals office suddenly becomes over run with goats!, that are eating everything in sight! and have taken especial taste to his favorite robes!

The Cardinal also has a sign seruptuciously pinned to his back with the words "I am an Arse, Kick me!" written upon it!.

The red guards uniforms have somehow been dyed bright pink!

Treville is not immune to the practical jokes either, and if he ever finds the little bastard who puts buckets of ink and flour over his door, died his tabard purple, stuck pink feathers in his favorite hat and encouraged a flea infested weak bladdered puppy to sleep on his bed then he`ll have then hung drawn and quartered!.

I`d love it if OT4 were the ring leaders of the practical jokes, and some slash between our gorgeous badly behaved boys while they plan their next offencive, rotten eggs poised to fall on Richelieus head when he goes to take mass?

The Kings Favorites

Date: 2014-08-31 10:50 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
I`ve seen lots of Prompts for d`Artagnan to be or to become the Kings favorite Musketeer, this is for OT4 to all become the Kings favorites.

Maybe they save his life in a bandit attack all four sustaining injuries while protecting the king and killing the bad guys, or maybe they get seperated from the rest of the Musketeer escort and have to get Louis back across country to Paris in terrible weather and under threat from Wolves and rebel attacks.

However the Author wants to do it, I want to see the King immensely impressed by their actions and rewarding them all by giving them medals of honour before the whole court and a seething Cardinal, restoring Athos` peerage as Comte de la fere, and giving Aramis, Porthos and d`Artagnan peerages too so they can be at court with him more and join a friendship with him.

Because friends, real friends is something a King hardly has and what better friends could he find than in the Musketeers?

Spanish Spies, Gen

Date: 2014-09-01 12:21 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Both Aramis and Queen Anne are Spanish spies with the same handler and contact inside Paris, working in tandem to retrieve the same crucial information from the French government and crown. They start meeting in secret to corroborate the information they've found out before passing it onto their contact (as well as to continue their affair, if the author wants to go down that path).

Somehow this comes to light. How, and what's the fallout?

3x Aramis and Athos bonding

Date: 2014-09-01 05:48 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
It might be just my head-canon, but I also think it's entirely probable given what we've seen of them on the show, but I think Aramis and Athos understand each other and each other's weaknesses and darkness and humanity on a really intuitive level and are really connected because of it. I want to see three instances of the two of them sort of seeking each other out or just bonding through the years of their brotherhood without the need for a lot of words between them.

Maybe 1x getting drunk together. 1x they're totally sober. 1x they're mutually worried about Porthos (maybe waiting for him to come back from an independent mission and are getting having a harder time shaking thoughts about losing him as the night drags on)

And any others you can think of. :)

Modern military/spies/crime and drugs spin on our 'Inseparables'. They happen to meet in Paris when their in their 20's and instantly click, Porthos is a fresh recruit in the French military, Aramis is a bit of a mystery, though he's had some medic training. Athos when he meets the others is actually undercover for the DST (French Intelligence service)and while happily married to his lovely wife and with a brother and a huge estate, but there is instant chemistry and a pull to these other two men. They spend a whirlwind week together, the three of them completely different and yet when their together it just feels right and 'whole'. Alas it was not meant to be it seemed...

For at the end of the wonderful week they all planned to meet at a bar and exchange all the important info to stay in touch and plan for the future. Unfortunately Aramis never shows up and Porthos and Athos assume they have been ditched by the free spirit, and all to soon the remaining two split as their careers quickly divide and pull them away and soon they lose contact moving on with their own lives. Years pass, tragedies and triumphs come and go. When fate happens to bring them together again.

Now their older and much more cynical, Athos is still with the DST now under the command of Treville, having lost everything, his brother, his wife and his happiness, all of it gone, leaving him nothing but drink and his job. Treville assigns him a special and dangerous assignment dealing with some ugly Cartel/mob business, the government has been keeping an eye on and trying to take down this particular Cartel for years now, which runs all through France, Spain and parts of Italy and even into some South American countries running drugs and prostitutes. Treville wants them taken out (and quietly) and has his best people on it, and because this is so dangerous Athos' will be partnered with a elite Commando. Imagine Athos surprise to see none other then an equally surprised Porthos who happens to be the Commando in question.

Needless to say Porthos and Athos get another shock when they find out that they're to try and find a man who the Government believes was snatched off the streets years before by one of the Cartel's many 'prostitution rings' that somehow managed to recently kill some Cartel members in a shoot-out at a mob run club and escaped with a bunch of others and is now on the run. The Government believes this man has valuable information and the Cartels are trying to hunt him down, but so far the mysterious escapee has proved elusive and rather deadly when cornered, his marksmanship impressive. Both Porthos and Athos immediately recognize the picture of the partly dressed and dark-eyed man Treville shows them that their suppose to look for rushing down a dark street with a stolen gun in hand.

Both of them now armed with the proof that Aramis hadn't skipped out and forgotten them that day all those years back, he had been snatched away. And now was their chance to get him back!

Athos/d'Artagnan Beauty and The Beast AU

Date: 2014-09-03 03:12 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
So, I'm not entirely sure where this came from, I would really like to see an AU where Athos didn't become a Musketeer and instead became a recluse. One day while on a misson, Aramis, Porthos, and d'Artagnan have to take shelter within Athos' home. The three of the, much to Athos' horror, refuse to leave unless he comes with them.

I would love a humourous tint to this, but it's up to any author anon kind enough to glance at this prompt twice. I also don't mind Aramis/Porthos, but again, up to author's digression.

Inseparables Discipline (otp3 or gen)

Date: 2014-09-03 11:01 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Treville hates being forced to discipline his men when they mess up. But when it comes to the 'Inseparables' he (and the entire garrison) have learned the hard way that when it comes to discipline that calls for the use of the cat or whip Athos, Porthos and Aramis either share equally in the punishment or the other two will have to be kept out of eye and ear-range while the other is being disciplined. Which can be a trial in and of itself just trying to separate them.

Athos gets super prickly, his normally stoic nature turning into barely contained agitation when the other two are to be disciplined. He makes sure to stand right there as close as he is allowed, glaring 'death' at any who daring to harm his brothers (even if they fucked up or did something stupid), needless to say its a rather frightening and unnerving for anyone unlucky enough to be the one doling out the punishment. Though he himself is stoic and gladly takes his own discipline, but always tries to take all the punishment upon himself (even if its not his screw up), even over the other two's loud denials.

Porthos gets seriously mean and dangerous to anyone other then his brothers when Athos is being disciplined, but he will especially lose his shit if he see's Aramis being whipped or hurt, even if they are equally sharing in the punishment. And if he hears Aramis cry out in pain... lets just say things get ugly quick.
And visa versa- Aramis always needs to be physically restrained by other Musketeers if Porthos is to be disciplined.

I want to see Treville having to deal with discipline when it comes to our unit of Three and maybe poor d'Artagnan as the reluctant and deeply uncomfortable witness to a few such incidents.

From: (Anonymous)
I want to see the four participating in one form or another in a traditional fête de la quémande - "feast of begging"

Extra points for the four wearing lovely elaborate masks - and perhaps trying to blend in with the feasting disguised crowd in disguise themselves while trying to solve a crime, escape bad guys, or otherwise not get killed and working hard to maintain their anonymity.

Extra points also if Aramis finds himself having to sing or perform at some point.

Extra Extra points if at some point there is a chicken run and d'Artagnan (eventually) catches the chicken.

I'd like something where the main three are forced into a very individual style captivity - perhaps someone has threatened to kill d'Artagnan/Constance/Treville/Flea If they don't go along quietly. Athos is forced into a kind of slavery, worked hard and constantly, made to perform menial and humiliating tasks, punished violently and cruelly for every minor infraction.
Porthos is put in a gladiator style fighting ring, forced to fight to the death for an audience. Struggling to survive, and to cope with the guilt of killing for entertainment night after night.
Aramis is put in a secretative, private whorehouse that caters to an exclusive clientele. The room is beautiful, he is pampered and bathed, and cared for, but he has an anklet and a long chain that secures him to the bed, so he may walk around the room but never leave it, and must do whatever is asked of him as a whore.
Eventually the three are rescued by Treville/d'Artagnan/Constance/Flea (I'll take any combination!)

Porthos's cheating, Aramis's paying

Date: 2014-10-20 04:40 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Porthos has often troubles with his cheating in taverns (as in 1., episode - fight). Red Guards (or just men he plays with) want him to stop and they decide make him. After some failed attempts (maybe some threats) they find out what can force Porthos play fair. Maybe they saw him with his best friend Aramis. Maybe if they beat him, Porthos will stop with cheating.

Title is enough. :D

From: (Anonymous)
Think Assassins Creed Unity AU...wherein the Musketeers are disbanded in the 1770s and ex-Musketeers and those inspired by them create the Creed, in hopes they can help the people (during the French Revolution). D'Artagnan hears about the Creed and wants to join but doesn't even know how to meet any of them...cue him running after Assassin-sightings and getting himself into revolts and he sees them sometimes, flashes and glimpses of masked assassins jumping from the rooftops.

One day he manages to get on the trail of's not long before he realises he's being trailed himself. The three assassins catch him and interrogate him, and realising he's no threat leave him alone but they keep bumping into D'Artagnan during revolts because even if he can't be an assassin he's still going to help as much as he can. One particular time D'Artagnan actually manages to save one of the three assassins and they begin to trust him. Eventually they let D'Artagnan into the Creed, with Treville's blessing of course. I'd prefer OT3 or OT4 but Athos/D'Artagnan and/or Porthos/Aramis would be fine.

Extra points if: The group begin training D'Artagnan to climb walls and scale rooftops and he just struggles and gets really frustrated. Athos gets reminded of Milady and becomes grumpy or depressed or heavily intoxicated (and yet still can carry out a near-perfect assassination). Aramis still prays over everyone they assassinate and sometimes Athos and Porthos have to literally drag him away (because they're meant to be super secret assassins and not get caught...duh). Or just D'Artagnan realising that behind their mysterious facade the Three Assassins are just human beings with their own loves and losses and skills and faults.

If you want to go further with this then it'd be cool to see the four go on some kind of mission together too. Or to see how the Creed would work differently from the Musketeers Unit.
