Hey everyone, here's a mod contact post.

You can use it to talk to me, ask me things, let me know when you want something deleted and if there's arguments going on on the meme.

Would it be possible to take the transfail prompt down now? It's been days, and it's just sitting there, being offensive and awful.

Policy on self-filling?

I was wondering what this kink meme's policy on self-filling is? As in, someone prompts someting then after a while the fic bunny is bugging them so much they end up writing a fic for their own prompt. Is posting that fic allowed or is it frowned upon?

People have done it before, no one has an issue with it! :)

From the Character Bashing thread

I appealed to you in the discussion thread, but because you mentioned the mod post specifically, and I don't want my request to go unnoticed, I'm repeating it here.

I respect your decision about the character bashing warnings, and I realize it is difficult to police everything. However, I think you need to reconsider this one:

It has a TW for suicidal thoughts and actions, yes, but Porthos and Aramis apparently treat Athos "with total disgust" - enough to trigger that suicidal cycle in him, and then are blamed for this suicide attempt by Treville. That's beyond a misunderstanding.

How many scenarios in real life have a supportive friend or spouse being blamed for a person’s depression or suicide attempt? Unless bullying or harassment are involved... which if they are...

Out of character or not, this one needs an Emotional Abuse warning.

The potential triggers there go beyond Athos’s suicidal thoughts. And are why I think this particular prompt was the one that triggered and sparked the discussion.

A Pairing Week

Can we have a Athos/d`Artagnan slash week? with a fill-a-thon for this gorgeous couple?

Oh god, can we please not?

Not unless there's a week for all the other pairings. Athos/d'Artagnan is not more important than every other ship in the fandom, ffs.

A fill-a-thon for everything at once might be good?

And mod, sorry. The pairing elitism is terrible and wearing, but I reacted too strongly.

*shuffles forward nervously* I was wondering if we could have some kind of general fill-Athlon, maybe to get some fills for some of the wonderful prompts on the first and second post. People sometimes plan to fill something and then get caught up in the excitement of new prompts and forget where/what the old prompt was!

I know I've done that.

Pairing weeks might be tricky. (I don't read or write fills for Athos/d'Artagnan, so that would be a gloomy week for me.) I'm sure a lot of people feel the same about other pairings, or any pairings!

I definitely feel that way about pairings. But a round one fill-athon week or something, could be grand.

Hello Mod! You're doing a great job running this place.

It may be a bit early to worry about, but with BBC America airing the show from next month, I wondered whether you'd had any thoughts about spoiler policy as we (hopefully) get new people arriving?

Yes please! I'd love to fill some prompts which haven't been filled in the past but I'm a bit confused about which ones have and which ones haven't.

I would really love that.

No sense of favoritism, just a chance for some old prompts to maybe get brought back into focus and a chance to get some more great fills from the meme.

Count me in.

AYRT - I agree wholeheartedly, but it's something that's caused bother for other BBC fandoms so just thought you might want to be forearmed with a policy.

I'd much rather a fill-a-thon than a pairings week to be perfectly honest. It seems like there are far too many people ready to throw stones at others pairings (or lack of pairings as the case may be) and I'd really like to avoid that. Plus, a fill-a-thon just sounds fun. :)

Is there a way to search the delicious bookmark for unfilled prompts? I can't seem to find a tag for it.

I plan to try and fill some of the old unfilled ones, but I'd rather not have to go through pages and pages of old prompts trying to find the ones which haven't been filled yet.

Prompt Freeze

Has the freeze ended now?, and are we going to continue putting prompts on rounds two or is there going to be a round three?, round two is small still compared with round one, but its Mods call
