Athos realises that d'Artagnan's first scar as a musketeer was at his hand

Fill: Scars

From: (Anonymous)
At some point each of them will have had that first experience of standing in the presence of their King, presumably either before or in the process of receiving ther commision to the Musketeers (ostensibly his personal guard when outside the palace). An exploration of each meeting please?
From: (Anonymous)
Treville is not only Captain of the Musketeers, he is also a powerful Witch, with both telekinetic and telepathic abilities, Master and High Priest to his small and unusual coven of two other witches, and a fellow Musketeer who had the misfortune to be bitten by a werewolf,
Porthos was on patrol when he was attacked by a lycan who had not had the fore thought to go out into the forrest away from populated areas to keep from hurting anyone during the time of tansforation, since that night Pothos has joined the coven, first hoping to be cured, but now has addapted to life as a were even using the heightend senses that remain even in human for to assist in missions.
Aramis is a healer and empathic witch his gift are to help and heal others hurts and pains which first drew him to think of taking a religious life, but he found himself better able to use his gifts as a Musketeer, and joined Trevilles coven
Athos is a fire witch, but his abilities are weaked by his drinking and his dispair over his ex wife Milady, also a witch but one who did not hold the code of wicca, instead of using her gifts of glamour and ice to help protect people from demons and dangers she used the abilities for her own gain, tricking Athos into marying her with a glamour and love spell, susequently murdering his younger brother.

Eventually d`Artagnan comes to Paris, and decides to apprentice in the Musketeers, but keeps his abilities secret fearing that he will be drowned on a ducking stool like he mother was if ever found out.
But his gifts of foresight and lightning are discovered as he saves Athos from the fire at La Fare following Milady`s attempts to kill Athos.
He too joins the small coven, working as King Musketeers by day and fighting the forces of darkness by night under Trevilles command.

However Milady wants revenge, The Cardinal is also a dabbler in the darker side of magick when it suits his needs, using demons and vampires to do his bidding, when the need arises.
The discovery that d`Artagnan is a very powerful witch and his presence in Trevilles coven will strengthen their power ten fold is not something the Cardinal wants to happen, and is detirmind to see that coven never gains such power, by having d`Artagnan arrested on charges of Witch craft and heresy and sentencing him to burn at the stake.

Treville and Athos both plead with the king making him understand that while d`Artagnan is different, special, he is Not Evil, that he uses his gifts for good, to help people and fight against evil, convinced and eager to have d`Artagnan give him some foresight on his own future the King commutes the sentence and asks for d`Artagnan to be brought to him to read his fortune!!!.

Knowing they need to break the hold The Cardinal has over the King, deal with Milady once and for all, the Coven get their chance to do so after an attempt is made on the Queens life...........

Bonuses Drunk depressed Athos struggling to use his powers until he sees the folly of this when d`Artagnan explains why he is so terrified of his own abilities.

D`Artagnan being scared of ever using his lightning power for fear of hurting anyone and of being caught as a witch

Porthos being a wild but slightly cuddly werewolf, who is so secure within his coven that he can stay with them at the time of transformation, and enjoys snuggling with Aramis in wolf form aswell as in human form

Aramis/Porthos slash Athos/d`Artagnan slash or full OT4 slash

From: (Anonymous)
We all know our Musketeers are a bit crazy, but what if they actually were? How about a AU with our faves in a large high security Psychiatric Hospital, maybe the ward their in is run by Dr. Treville, who is a good and kind doctor that is actually dealing and trying to treat his many patients instead of just drugging them into manageable stupors, unlike the heavy-handed Dr. Richelieu (who the entire hospital calls 'the Cardinal')in the who rules a different ward.

All of the Musketeers suffer some form of PTSD form various traumas in their lives. Athos has been diagnosed with severe Depression (suicidal with destructive tendencies), he was institutionalized by Court order after being found insane at his Trial for the attempted murder of his wife and the murder of his younger brother (who Athos doggedly blames his wife for).
Porthos has had a hard and brutal life growing up on the mean streets, he also has major rage issues and a bad gambling addiction. Being big, frighteningly strong and dangerous, not to mention having been arrested and convicted numerous times for thievery, assault (never against innocents or good people) and finally after being involved in the deaths of three known and violent gang-members, the Law was going to just dump him in jail and throw away the key. But Treville literally swooped in, pulling some strings and has Porthos put not only in his care, but in his employment. Treville can see for all his problems Porthos is a truly decent person and far smarter then any give him credit for, he's also protective and surprisingly gentle when they is need and completely loyal.
Aramis has been diagnosed with Nymphomania, along with having abandonment issues, he was also discharged from the Army years back, the only survivor out of 20 from an ambush. Treville came across him at a conference at a different hospital and had him immediately transferred to his care when it became clear that members of that staff and the orderlies were regularly taking full advantage of the pretty nympho.
Unfortunately the same thing starts to happen at his own hospital, which infuriated Treville since it was usually orderlies from Dr. Richelieu's staff and section (the Red Guards) sneaking onto his ward and into Aramis' room.
He is rather pleased however when Porthos quickly puts these 'visits' to a firm and painful end after he officially becomes one of the orderlies on Trevilles' ward.

Needless to say Treville soon discovers that these three particular misfits are good for one another, they just click. Separate they are a mess, ticking time-bombs, but together they make an amazing and 'sane' person.

Feel free to add d'Artagnan and others to the mix, as for pairings Portamis is always welcome, as is both ace-Athos or Otp3, or even gen)

I've always loved the way the Magnificent 7 fandom placed the boys in all manor of interesting genres. So, my brain started working overtime and I had to prompt: 1. (Harry Potter-verse) the French version of Hit Wizards, the Musketeers of course, 2. (Avengers-verse) a SHIELD Strike Team.

You get the idea, bring on the AU's.

This is the one prompt I'm going to hell for.
I'd like to see a young (about 18, book age) d'Artagnan, who despite his eagerness and hot headedness is still quite innocent in worldly matters being seduced and coerced into bed by one (or all) of the older more experienced inseparables. No rape, but d'Artagnan would probably never had innitiated this by himself and is pretty nervous and maybe apprehensive. Maybe Athos takes advantage of d'Artagnan's hero worship of him? Or Aramis ensures him that this is normal in Paris or among soldiers, so if he wants to fit in... maybe once in bed they keep on pusning him further than he is really comfortable with, there is no actual force, but he doesn't quite feel free to say no either. Feel free to make it a bit creepy.
From: (Anonymous)
On it!

I think I'm going the coercive initiation route, and going to lean quite hard on the 'D'Artagnan is shocked that this is a thing that men do together, and he's totally conflicted about how much he's actually enjoying it' route, hopefully that will work for you?

I probably won't de-age him, but I think it's totally reasonable regardless to have him ignorant of m/m sex being a thing.

The three musketeers, when they first met d'Argetan, just assumed that he was in his late twenties to early thirties or so when they met, and d'Argetan has never realized this. Maybe it can be because people are forced to mature faster in the country, and he isn't that shocked when people ask if he was married, or had children or something. It turns out that he is actually something like 16 when his father dies.
Plz give me completely shocked musketeers, and a bit of guilt at what he has gone through so young.

bonus: One (or all!) of the musketeers have fantasized, and maybe even had sex with d'Argetan, and now they feel like a dirty old cradle robber. d'Argetan tries to fix this notion :)

Any two of the OT3 in an established relationship, but also both in love with the (oblivious) third and wishing he would join them. Could include anything from "ugh, did you see that really attractive thing he did today?" to commiserating and comforting each other when he sleeps with someone else, to fantasizing about him in bed, or anything else! Just give me some Musketeers supporting each other in their pining.

Musketeers are often sons of Nobility, generally not the first born, but later sons who have wealth and can afford to apprentice long in the corps before being made a Musketeer.

However, d`Artagnan is not a noble, and only apprenticed for a matter of months before earning his commission from the king for killing La Barge.

While the other commissioned Musketeers eagerly accept d`Artagnan into their ranks, especially since he is amongst the infamous inseparables, the apprentices are not so sanguine.

They do not like the fact that d`Artagnan was allowed to join in on missions with the elite Musketeer unit, was befriended by them so swiftly, nore that he was allowed to comptete as Musketeer champion and then chosen by Treville to be the Champion and earn his commission.

Following d`Artagnan`s commission he begins to suffer intense bullying at the hands of the apprentices, who refuse to follow his orders, belittle him, even break into his room at the garrison to steal and vandalise his belongings.
Not wanting to cause trouble he keeps quite, until one day things go to far, and the Inseparables get involved.

Really hoping for d`Artagnan/Athos or d`Artagnan/OT3 slash but will accept gen too with close brotherly love

I know Aramis is usually the stitcher of the group, but I'd love one time each of our boys had to stitch up one of the others - portraying each with the opportunity to take a turn wielding the needle, as it were.

Since I've read a few fics with d'Artagnan kind of being the apprentice stitcher and becoming skilled at it, I'd like to switch up which of them, besides Aramis, proves to be talented at it. Maybe Athos is really unexpectedly steady with the needle but doesn't like to do it; with d'Artagnan struggling to get the hang of it at first. Or maybe Porthos is pretty awesome at it as long as he's doing it for strangers or musketeers he's not as close to, but freaks himself out if he's got to do it for Athos or Aramis. Just some possibilities...

Extra love and cookies if you give me a +1 with Treville being the stitcher, or a +1 with someone unexpected having to stitch up one of the boys - like Louis (oh the horror), or the Cardinal.
From: (Anonymous)
I'm dying at the idea of Louis stitching someone up. Maybe his carriage is attacked and he and one of the musketeers get separated from the others, but the musketeer is wounded in the process and has to talk Louis through stitching him up. :)

In the Homecoming, we meet Pastor Ferrand who fought too many battles and then he found God (or God found him)...Is it just me who thought of Aramis?

Faith differences aside (given the time), I could see a friendship there. Quite how it starts...I don't know. Perhaps Aramis goes back to let the Pastor know how it all panned out and apologise for any upset caused...

Bonus if you give the reaction of the others- confusion- is he converting? Or maybe they worry Aramis will leave them for his faith...

Gifts of Love

Date: 2014-09-16 09:14 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
BrOT3, possible OT3.

Three times two of them gave their third a very special gift that made them realise for the first time just how much they were loved.

Gifts don't have to be physical objects.

This grew out of an idea I had about how Aramis came by his pistols.

So, at one time Aramis had a very beautiful, expensive set of duelling pistols (probably won in a shooting contest or a gift from a nobleman whose life he saved), but he somehow lost them. Athos and Porthos combine resources and eventually present him with a new pair, specially commissioned and as finely balanced as possible. Between them they designed the scrollwork on the barrels and Porthos somewhere found a length of (musketeer) blue silk to wrap them in - which is the sash Aramis now wears. Beautiful as they are, the pistols are nowhere near as fancy as the ones they replaced (though actually much better crafted), but to Aramis they are absolutely priceless.

For Porthos, I thought that maybe when Athos and Aramis find out he doesn't know when his birthday is and has therefore never celebrated it, they choose a date for him and do everything in their power to make it the best day of his life.
Hugs and manly tears when Porthos tells them that it has been a wonderful day, but not quite the best of his life, as that was the day he met his two brothers.

And then I ran up against a brick wall when trying to think of something for Athos (that didn't involve sex, not that I have any problem with a filler taking that option). So I'd have to leave that to the imagination of any kind author who decides to write this.

I would like to see a teenage Aramis, say eighteen or so, arriving alone in Paris and being taken under the wing of a wealthy older woman, who teaches him how to be a skilled lover. (Maybe she also has friends who call on her, and so Aramis learns to be skilled at threesomes, and possibly one of them is also a gentleman and so he picks up some skills there too ;)

I'd be really interested in seeing an Underworld-esk story.

In a world where Marcus took the reigns of power by turning the kings and queens of Europe, where Corvinus' third son corrupted the Church through magic, and William created a line of superior wolves, capable of guarding this new world, the Lycans.

The monarchy, and most royalty for that matter, are vampires. They're day protectors consist of two groups; the Musketeers (Lycans) and the The Church (the human Red Guard lead by the Cardinal). On occasion, a king will reward a Lycan with land a title for services to the crown, as with the de'Athos family.

No non-con or major character death.

more complicated poly!

Date: 2014-09-16 08:16 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
There's been a lot of really great "everyone falls into bed" fic, but I'd love to see some more complicated poly relationships. Poly Vs instead of equilateral triangles! Maybe d'Artagnan and Constance join in and want some of the musketeers but not others, or maybe some characters are asexual or gay (those two might take some AUing, but that's cool), or some people's kinks line up and some don't, or some of the participants are just not into some of the others like that.

I'd love to see this in a happy and functional way, where all of the intense platonic bonds are still there even between people who aren't involved, but the sexual dynamics are a little more complicated than your average puppy pile.

Silent Paris (AU, crossover Silent Hill, horror)

Date: 2014-09-18 09:00 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Sometime after episode 10 the Cardinal is desperate, humiliated, but most of all angry! He's so pissed he gets a bit 'unconventional' in his methods for his revenge against those who have wronged him as well as his want for France to be an unstoppable power. But by curse, black magic or some anchient artifact of dark power he had Milady find him he unleashes a frightening darkness that transforms Paris. Think Silent Hill level of scary monsters and creepy stuff, instead of the sirens going off its the tolling of bells.

d'Artagnan happened to be on a simple mission to deliver something for Treville outside of Paris, so he was gone when the Cardinal's curse took place, so when he comes back he is in for a nasty surprise. As for Treville and our three Inseparables, they two have been transformed into frightening and very dangerous creatures (come on you know you want to see what kind of bad-ass monsters like Pyramid-head they would be). If they are dangerous, ambivalent or helpful to d'Artagnan is up to you.

Gen or all pairings welcome, though I am rather partial to Porthos/Aramis, otp3 and d'Art/Constance. Hell, Richelle/Treville would be amazing in this AU. Horror, creepy, disturbing- but happy ending please!

The odd alliance forged when abandoned somewhere en route and joining forces to get home. Occasionally being squashed into some strangers personal space.

Basically the guys forming a friendship (or more) while on the way to work and on the way home.

Any pairing is welcome :)

Porthos had never known a morning that the man did not get on the train two stops down from where he himself alighted. Porthos had neither known a morning that this man had not had with him a coffee and looked to be extremely dishevelled. Porthos had yet to decide whether this man was very tired or hung over. This man seemed to be the only constant thing in the sea of ever changing, cold faces that used the train to get to work from day to day and so Porthos had taken to nodding good morning to this man every day, getting a tired incline of the head in return.
Whenever Porthos got off the train the man would still be in his spot, leaning against the pole, never sitting down, available seats or no. Porthos sometimes wondered where he worked, he didn’t know of many jobs in the areas further down the lines, but shrugged it off, there were small businesses all over the place if you looked hard enough.
Monday morning and Porthos felt like curling in on himself and going back to sleep. His best mate Charon had had his stag night the night before and Porthos regretted drinking so much. He’d attempted to leave off the alcohol at the beginning of the night but soon he was caught up in the fun and was downing shots like they were water.
The train stopped at a platform and the man walked on, going to his usual position leaning against the pole directly in front of Porthos. Porthos could barely bring himself to look up and nod his greeting due to the brightness of the sun coming through the windows but did so anyway. The man seemed to be looking at him with some mixture of pity and understanding. Porthos lowered his head again and went back to massaging his aching head. He felt something touch his shoulder lightly and the smell of coffee invaded the air around him. He looked up to see the man offering him his coffee cup.
“Don’t worry, I haven’t drunk any yet.” The man said, his lips twitching into something resembling a small smile.
The man’s voice had a lilt to it which suggested that despite his appearance, he’d had a rather well off upbringing. Porthos managed a smile of his own and took the offered beverage.
“Thanks.” He said. And he really meant it, the coffee seemed to soothe his headache slightly and he felt a little more human than he had that morning, “I’m, uh, Porthos by the way.” He said looking up at the man again.
“Athos.” The man offered in reply but didn’t seem so keen on conversing so Porthos left it at that, settling into a comfortable silence.
As he got off the train he gave another glance at Athos and a nod of thanks before stepping off the train and into the bustling platform.

A group of ruthless killers are stalking the streets of Paris, their many victems being the supposed 'unwanted' of society. Mostly prostitutes, gypsies, Jews, pick-pockets, and many of the various residents from the Court of Miracles. At first no one cared, but after rummors began to spread and the sheer amount of victims began piling up, word eventually reaches even the King's ears, who tells Treville to catch the killers and bring them to justice. Who of course has the Musketeers on the case, unfortunately nothing has worked in catching the murders so far, so Treville with his two most trusted Musketeers Athos and Porthos (and the newly commissioned d'Artagnan) decide to set a trap for the killers.

But since this is so dangerous they need someone who understands the risks and can protect themselves to go undercover and act as bait for the killers. And since the bad-guys had thus far spotted all of their previous attempts of disguising various Musketeers and even a few Red Guards as bait, Treville decides to get some outside help and calls in a favor from one of his old army friends.

So it is that Athos and Porthos meet the seductive dark-eyes career solder and sharp-shooter Aramis, who Treville had actually tried to recruit when the Musketeers had first been created. The soldier utterly clicks with the two Musketeers, and even though d'Artangan is a newly commissioned Musketeer its obvious that Aramis is just more calm and seasoned and its understandably a bit irritating how quickly both Athos and Porthos except, respect and work with the newcomer, as for Aramis and Porthos... Lets just say there is undeniable attraction (he even lets Porthos pierce his ear and do others things). With the help of Porthos' many connections to the Court of Miracles Aramis goes undercover as a gypsy and they set the trap.

Think of Aramis dressed something along these lines as a visual:
