How about a Omegaverse fic dealing with more then just the standard Alpha/Beta/Omega dynamic, there are also Deltas and Gammas running around and well as the regular issues of maintaining a pack?

Athos is not the biggest Alpha around, but is the unspoken leader of his small pack under (omega)Treville's larger command. Porthos is also a Alpha, but works with and excepts Athos' command (most of the time), d'Artagnan is the youngest and a feisty Omega (who's always getting into trouble). While Aramis is a rare Gamma, like Omegas Gammas have heats, can lactate and are not as aggressive as Alphas, but unlike Omegas their sterile and not submissive (they submit when they want to submit) and usually tend to be loners. Its a bit like having a fox in a wolf-pack. He used to run with Marsac (who was a aggressive Beta) before Porthos and Athos joined the Musketeers.

Alphas and aggressive Betas for the most part rule this world, there is also no such thing as 'Tradition-Marriage' instead there are Pair-Bonds, and families are Packs, there are plenty of lone Wolves as well.

Treville / OFC from the 21st century

Yes, it is a shameless selfinsert, we fangirls love Treville, he is hot, so why not:

For some mysterious reason a woman from our time suddenly appears out of the blue at the palace in Paris (through a wormhole... whatever, I don't care). That woman has no clue what is going on or why she is here but she knows she is from the future and has at least a vague knowledge of the musketeers, Louis, Richelieu and all. Bonus if the world where she falls into kind of is the tv series - and she recognises the characters from the series. (she doesn't have to be a fangirl though ;-).

So, without any skills relevant to the time, without connections or family or money she has to try to fit in. Never mind the fact, that the king, Richie and Treville want to find out what's going on!

I want
- Treville and this womand to fall in love (of course! A bit of sexy time wouldn't hurt either ^^)
- a lot of snark from the Cardinal
- the woman trying to bring a bit of feminism into the world, struggling to fit in but at least trying it (because, come one: After a couple of weeks she would be bored out of her mind if she has nothing do do, no job, no position, no nothing)

Both Constance and Milady are still in love with their respective Musketeers.

But when both finally see the light and decide to take a second chance with them, they find that they have left it too late, for D`Artagnan and Athos have moved on to each other.

I gave this a go. It's my first attempt. Will try and get second part up ASAP.

Milady didn’t think that her heart was capable of breaking. In fact, if you asked the right person they would even say that she didn’t even have a heart at all but that was not true. Her heart just belonged to someone else. Athos.

She wanted to hate him. She had thought that she could punish him, have him killed like he had tried to do to her but in the end event he thought of him dead hurt her more than she could ever have believed. She had realised that she could not fight her feelings anymore, she loved Athos and always would. Milady knew that she was a terrible person; she had lied, cheated and killed more people than she could bear to think about but Athos made her feel like a better person. He always had. He hadn’t known her past when they were married and the only look she could see in his eyes was that of love. She wanted to see that look again.

Athos was a hard man to track down and there were many taverns in Paris but Milady finally managed to find him. She stood in the shadows outside and waited for him to leave the tavern. After what seemed like hours the door opened and she saw the outline of her husband step out. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw him. She had always thought he was handsome, even ay his most drunk or battered and bruised. She took a few steps forward intending to speak to him but she stopped when she noticed he was not alone.

D’Artagnan followed him out and Milady took to the shadows once again. She watched as Athos turned around and stood so close to the younger man that it made Milady wonder what was going on with them. She saw Athos lean in and whisper something in d’Artagnan’s ear. The younger man grinned, grabbed Athos’ hand and dragged him down the nearest alley. Milady stalked across the street and felt her heart break at the sight.

Athos was leaning against the wall with d’Artagnan pressed up against him, his hands running through the younger man’s hair. She saw d’Artagnan smile and lean in close, pressing a gentle kiss on Athos’ lips. She watched as Athos pulled his young lover closer to him and held him tight. She wanted to be d’Artagnan.

The part which hurt her the most was the look Athos gave d’Artagnan when they finally parted. It was a look of pure love. It was the look he had given her once upon a time. In that moment Milady knew that she had lost him.

She had always assumed that Athos would always be hers. She thought that he would always wait for her but he had moved on. He was in obviously very much in love with the younger Musketeer. A wave of regret washed over Milady as she saw Athos whisper something in d’Artagnan’s ear and a moment later they exited the alley together, their night not over yet.

A moment later Milady exited the shadows and watched as they disappeared into the distance. She wished that her heart could not break. She wished that she could simply turn away and feel nothing over what she had seen. But she could not. She loved Athos, he was the only man she had ever given his heart to and she could do nothing but watch him walk away with another love.
Milady swallowed her regret deep down and replaced the mask on her face that she always wore, the blank canvas that no-one could see through. Slipping back into the shadows she disappeared from view.

She was too late. She would always be too late.

Marsac dos`nt shoot Treville, instead he captures him and proceeds to inflict horrific torture upon Treville with The Musketeers and Richelieu frantically search for him to save him from the deranged former Musketeers hands

Ooooh, yes! It's so easy to look at Aramis' character and see someone who thinks there is very little value to himself (survivor's guilt from Savoy, the fact that he brought doom to both Isabelle and Adele, his statement in The Return that he was born just to fight), and so he should just do what little he is actually good for - soldiering and love-making. Letting people use his body. You know. ~Angst~

Protective Athos

The scene in S1E7 where proud, aloof Athos gets down on his knees and begs the Cardinal for Ninon de Larroque's life DOES THINGS to me. I need more of that in my life. And if he'll do that for a remarkable woman he just met, what would begging for the life of one (or all!) of his brothers-in-arms look like? Go wild with the specifics, I just want a desperate Athos whose loyalty trumps his closely guarded dignity.

My downward spiral into Musketeer fan fiction goes something like this:
- oooh, friendship!! Don't need anything else
- oooh, portamis!! Okay, will take that, too.
- yay, Porthos/Aramis/Athos! Aramis/Athos!! Give me more! But never would I read something not setted in the Show setting.
- oh nice, Modern AU!!!

So, here I am with some wishes.
The prompt:
I would love to see something set in a Modern AU (college maybe?). Aramis and Athos fall in love and try to build an relationship. Porthos and Aramis are tight friends as ever. Maybe Aramis is emotionally a little unstable (love for some Savoy mentioning).

Then there is a huge and ugly fight. Maybe Aramis can't stand Athos' drinking. Or Athos has no mind for all the flirting or hates dealing with Aramis' exes. Both say ugly and mean things.
And then Athos says something inexcusable, something that really hurts Aramis. Porthos is furious with Athos, because nobody is allowed to hurt Aramis, not even Athos. And it's up to him to save the day.

In short: give me soapy drama with lots of emotionally hurt Aramis. ;)
Maybe someone can work with something along these lines?

Porthos is Haunted in the best way - AU Portamis

At the end of season 2 Aramis died broken upon the wheel, but the Queen, the dauphin and France were saved by the Musketeers once again. Understandably everyone is very concerned for Porthos in the following weeks, but suddenly Porthos seems so much better- all but back to normal even. They get real worried however when Porthos says that Aramis is back with them and they even sometimes catch him talking to open air or looking in the direction of someone who's not there.

Everyone thinks the big man is loosing his mind, even Treville and Athos reluctantly. That is until 'Aramis' warns Porthos when there's danger, things that would be impossible for Porthos to know or have known. Porthos' helpful ghost/guardian angel warning him of things like how many men lay in wait to ambush them on the road ahead, what to do with certain wounds and sickness, even to more pedestrian things like spying on conversations or how he hardly even needs to cheat at cards with a soft familiar voice whispering the hands of the other players into his ear. Athos puts Porthos to the test to see if 'Aramis' really there since apparently only Porthos can see or hear him, by the end of the test Athos is amazed and a little horrified, clearly something supernatural is going on.

If Athos and the others start to see Aramis to is up to the author.

Porthos + Aramis friendship

One of my favorite scenes in the second season is the one in the Prodigal Father where Levesque spits on Porthos and Aramis springs shouting out of his chair as if fired by a cannon, with a glare on his face that says "I would happily murder you right this second but I know I have to let Porthos handle it himself."

So. X times Porthos talked Aramis out of defending his honor (because he wanted to handle it himself, because it would blow their cover in an investigation, because the risk was too great somehow...whatever you like) and one time even Porthos couldn't hold him back.

Athos actually makes it in time to catch Milady on the road, intending to go with her. Changing her mind about wanting him with her, she helps him realize that Porthos and Aramis are the ones he loves now, and that they love him. With new insight and not wanting to repeat past mistakes, he goes to the monastery to tell Aramis and convince him to come back to him and Porthos.

Treville, the King and D'art are captured while on a hunt. Trapped in a place that is pitch black, they have no idea how the other truly is. Surprisingly, the only person that is taken out to be 'talked' to is D'art. And not wanting the others to worry, etc, D'art uses the darkness to his advantage to hide how he truly is and able to trick his captain and king that he is uninjured(other than when they are first captured).


And it is during one of his sessions that D'art takes advantage and is able to get them free. However, halfway from the place they were at he collapses. And it is there, that Treville and Louis finally see how badly wounded and ill he actually is. Now it's there turn to take care of him


Meanwhile, the trio return from a mission, only to find out the king and their comrades are missing. Can the redguards and the musketeers work together to save their king?


++++ The three form a bond of sorts(a slight brotherhood between Louis and D'art and a fatherly Treville)

I don't care why or how - maybe they run into each other while Milady is trying to leave for England and Aramis is headed to his Monastery and they end up having to solve a crime together or something - I just want a story with these two working together towards the same purpose and discovering they're unexpectedly really good at working together. And while being snarky and blunt discover they understand each other rather intuitively. Friendship only though.

Bonus for a conversation with the two bonding over Athos with each learning something new from the other about him.

Aramis and Milady Modern AU

In a similar vein as the above prompt - crack or serious - Aramis (former soldier) and Milady (former assassin) run a Hardy-Boy-esk detective agency together. Maybe the case that first brought them together was the disappearance of Athos and Porthos.

One day, in walks d'Artagnan wanting them to find his missing puppy. Or, if you want to go the more serious route, in walks d'Artagnan wanting them to locate the man who murdered his father (since Captain Treville over at the police station says they can't keep it as an active case when all the leads have gone cold)...

So, I very much really like this as a serious prompt, maybe with crack elements. Aramis and Milady banding together to find Athos and Porthos--not sure they trust each other, but increasingly sure they can't really trust anyone else--and then getting more devastated when even their combined skills can't make Athos and Porthos turn up. Then d'Art comes to them looking for the killer of his father and as they reluctantly take the case they realize the man he's describing sounds a lot like Athos.

If I had any time at all I'd take this one myself.
