I could to one, but the problem with that is that he never does anything particularly *catholic* on screen. So it'd just bee like a random cardinal gif with the text. Any scene you'd like for that in particular?

Does he really not? Boo, I guess I hadn't realized that. Well, surely there's at least a scene with him in church robes waving his hands around, right? I'll see if I can find some time to rewatch a few episodes and try to find a good one.

Just what it says on the tin.

I just watched the episode with a friend, and. There was a lot of "why" and "no" and I'll copy this straight from our conversation because we are upset:

Prompt: d'Artagnan murdered Bonacieux and is an all around shitty guy and Constance slowly comes to realize this, but it's too late, she's already trapped in a new and terrible marriage full of guilt-trips and emotional abuse.

When Charles was younger he never had any friends. After a suggestion from his father he made a pen pal, to a young lad named 'Thomas'.He never knew of his last name, or his brothers name or his 'evil' sister in laws. But they were the best of friends. Before he learned of his death, Thomas sent him a necklace - that claimed him a brother in all but blood - that he always had hidden.

Athos slightly recalls that his brother often wrote to someone younger than him in Gascony, someone who he adored and always proud that he had a little brother of his own. After Thomas's death he had forgotten. Until now.

One day, before they set out on a mission Porthos finally notices the necklace, with a very familiar symbol. Aramis and Porthos know what it means, and are even more shocked as tells the tale of his friend 'Thomas', but because he never knew the names, does not assume it's Athos's Thomas. And Athos? well, he's in shock, and realizes, he has a 'real' little brother to look after again.

Some enemies find out and use this to their advantage.

D'art and Constance just barely managed to survive their time in the Hunger Games, but things are only going to get worst when a few years later its time for the Quarter Quell. Now he's going to meet the victors from previous games, including Athos, Porthos and Aramis.

There are only so many times you can watch someone drink themselves insipid while they moon over the man they want to be with.

Like wise there are only so many times you can watch Puppy eyes and pining look on a young face before both start to drive you to distraction.

Frankly Treville has had all he can stomach of Athos and d`Artagnan mooning about each other and doing nothing about it!, and Richelieu is sick of hearing his lover complain about it!.

So between them they decide to give the hopeless pair a shove in the right direction and get them together before they drive themselves, and everyone else mad!.

Would love to read Constance and Aramis developing a close friendship and bonding over their situations and other things with d'Artagnan misreading the situation and becoming increasingly jealous.

I kinda wanna see a prison au (I know, how cliché) where Porthos is the top-dog, running the prison with a firm hand.
Aramis is the go-to-guy, he can get you anything you want for a small price.
And Athos, with looks practically screaming rich-boy, is the lowest and must rely on the protection of the others.

D´Artagnan is the new guy sent to prison for killing his fathers murder (or he´s innocent, you decide) and has to learn how to handle himself.

How dark and violent this goes is up to the writer, but I do want Athos to get some whump and the others saving him.

Any paring is cool, but a weakness for athos/porthos and maybe a little aramis/dartagnan on the side.

Okay, so I know i have a very strange kink but.. Well, maybe someone shares it..
I want Treville or Rochefort, that doesn't really matter to me, to have some evil scheme to get very powerful. Of course, our musketeers discover it and plan to stop him, only to find they're too late and have no choice but to either let them have it or take it on themselves.
So, either Athos is his selfnessless or d'Artagnan in his eagerness to protect the others takes it on. Only to find themselves with more power than they ever imagined.

So I've seen fic where Athos, Porthos, and Aramis are in some sort of relationship and bring d'Artagnan along. But what if it was Athos who was the last one in?

Porthos and Aramis have been together for ages but Athos always pulled away from joining them. They respect that and still love him. Then d'Artagnan shows up and falls in with Porthos/Aramis and this time Athos seems more receptive. So then begins the ~wooing~.

I really love this dynamic. Aramis and Porthos I see being really comfortable with each other, and then it's so easy to picture a young, uninhibited, woo hoo let's have sex d'Art. And then the wooing would be epic. Much love for this prompt!

Oh, I can totally see this. Especially after d'Artagnan has been such a douchebag these past episodes. It seems very in character for d'Artagnan to be jealous. He comes across as very, veeeerry childish and immature and like he'd be the stereotypical volatile jealous-type in situations like these.

I just re-read the book and found that scene where Aramis and Porthos are playing tennis (TENNIS) and Athos decides that he'll play with d'Artagnan against Aramis and Porthos, but d'Artagnan doesn't have so much experience and winds up resigning the game because he's worried about getting smacked in the face before meeting the king.

This is a beautiful visual.

I mostly just want to see the Inseparables having fun with their newest addition, whether it's "Hey, we'll teach you a new game!" or Athos forcing an unwilling d'Artagnan into playing tennis with him against Aramis and Porthos. d'Artagnan can quit after almost being hit with the ball due to worry about the king seeing it, or he can continue. It can go into angst or stay lighthearted and fun. He could actually wind up being hit with the ball.

Orrrrr, he could quit due to his worry and go on to, like in the book, get into a fight with a Red Guard about the matter, get himself whumped up, with the Inseparables helping him out at the last minute but his face still gets messed up, and then when asked what happened they all claim it happened in a tennis match...

Or anything else Anon decides to do. OP would prefer gen, maybe with a little d'Artagnan/Constance, but mostly just wants to see our boys playing tennis because wow that is adorable.

I once considered writing a prison au, but it never happened. Thus, I would LOVE to read this.

(And I can see Rochefort as the resident dick who is trying to usurp power/make their lives hell, etc. Because that's what he does, right?)

So, as I quite often do for fun, I was hitting the random tropes button on the TV Tropes (best site EVER!) page, and this one came up:

And of course, my brain instantly said Aramis. I imagine Porthos would enjoy having a female Aramis on occasion, though it would probably freak Athos out.

Probably best as Aramis/Porthos, though I do love OT3 and A/A is usually my preferred pairing.

Anything from pure crack to a serious plot-driven story is good.

Have we not had one? I couldn't find one.

But think about it. Athos the extractor. Milady the shade. Aramis the forger, Porthos or D'Artagnan the architect or chemist... The king as the mark. Anything like that.

And maybe Tréville or Constance as the point man or point woman, Richelieu as the tourist?
