The Musketeers get ship wrecked, clinging to what little debris they could find in the water they manage to come ashore on an island, completely devoid of human life.
However, the sea is teaming with fish, as is the fresh water springs located deeper into the woods on the islands, the trees are filled with birds, the woods with animals, there are bushes and trees abundent with fruit and nuts even wheat growing wild!. The sand that covers the beach is white gold and silk soft, there are even caves for shelter from rain, and the tide never comes up deep enough to fill them.
At first they think about trying to find a way off the island, but as time goes on the come to realize they have landed in paradise!. Here on this Island they have everything they need to survive, pleanty of food and water, shelter from the rain when it comes, and more than that, they have each other, here they are free to love each other, be with each other as they have always wished to be, without anyone to call it unnatural or heretical. In this small piece of paradise they are away from all their burdens, are safe, happy, and most importantly they are all together.
"Gentlemen God has delivered us here" Aramis declared "We have been granted paradise, utopia, what more can we ever wish for?.
