So, I very much really like this as a serious prompt, maybe with crack elements. Aramis and Milady banding together to find Athos and Porthos--not sure they trust each other, but increasingly sure they can't really trust anyone else--and then getting more devastated when even their combined skills can't make Athos and Porthos turn up. Then d'Art comes to them looking for the killer of his father and as they reluctantly take the case they realize the man he's describing sounds a lot like Athos.

If I had any time at all I'd take this one myself.
