Season 3 Spoilers

Warnings: mentions of character death

Kinda want to see a universe where Treville did not die and remained Regent, The Queen having made peace with the decision as Treville has included her in everything. Athos and Sylvie choose to stay and Athos becomes minister instead of Aramis who maybe gets a high position in the church and on Treville's council.

There aren't many of these requests but I was wondering if anyone was up to doing a fan-made video to Rihanna's song Desperado? The beat is pretty badass and I think it'll clash well with certain elements of the show, like the mystery and the lust. If I could make a video, I would, but unfortunately I don't know how :/. SO if anyone would be willing, I would love you forever.

The one where, after Marmion, the Queen says to Milady, 'Hey, don't get me wrong, I still hate you with the white hot passion of a thousand flaming suns, but your actions helped save my son (and husband) today, and whatever Louis will do I will see you right.' (Only more queenly.) And ends up with an assassin on the payroll a whole lot sooner.

Lots of snark would be agreeable.
From: (Anonymous)
Well, this is the darkest thing I've ever prompted.

Aramis was raped while in prison - a combination of Rochefort wanting some extra suffering, and the guards knowing there wasn't going to be any comeback from a man about to die. Only he didn't die, did he?

Afterwards... what was the fallout among the perpetrators? Who regretted it, who wanted to brag, did it become part of Red Guard lore or a dirty little secret? Did Aramis try to forget it ever happened or consider it a start on his penance for putting people in harm's way? Is he trying to turn the other cheek and forgive his attackers? Dreaming of vengeance?

And now, after four and a half years, the survivor is back in town, the best shot in the army with war heroes at his side... How does it go down, when he finally realises why those Red Guard faces look familiar...?

The Mercenary's Heart

Date: 2016-11-28 05:06 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Someone is trying to smite Alexander by trying to come after his son, d'Artagnan. So he hires a mercenary, Athos, who has agendas and secrets of his own. Athos isn't known for playing nice, and d'Artagnan has a hard time getting to know the real him. But when the danger starts becoming too large, in their alone time, d'Artagnan begins to see the heart where Athos thinks there is none.

I'm a sucker for tragic endings but it doesn't matter what you do.

Christmas Aramis Angst

Date: 2016-12-08 10:50 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
This is my first Musketeer fic prompt, so hopefully I have the right place!

So it's almost Christmas and for some reason (whatever author decides) tensions are running high between the Inseparables, and Aramis is trying to fix it. Suddenly they all turn on him, annoyed by his still happy attitude and the fact that he is just trying to fix their frustrations with each other. Anyway, they ride ahead of him or something and he is caught of guard, and eventually is left injured. So he's then injured during Christmas and is left in the infirmary on Christmas Day when usually he would visit the church, and so obviously he's pretty angry with the others and they have to try and make it up to him.

This is an idea of mine that I’ve had for a while. Now there are many parts to it and I would like to see any of it come to life. All of its up for grabs guys. I’d prefer the story from start to finish, however long the fanfiction may be and however many times and ways it’s written. Take all of it, take bits of it; I just want to see my idea come to life in whatever way it can. And I probably have more ideas for this if you want to ask me go ahead.
This verse does mix with a book series called Graceling wherein there are certain individuals who are graced with exceptional abilities (fighting, swimming, seeing, running). The main paring is OMC/D'artagnan and it goes a little something like this.

Off in a faraway country there is a small kingdom that values self-worth, individuality, and art. Inheritance and titles are picked by who the best suitor is and not bloodline. OMC is a rare Graceling that has two graces. He can sing like no other and is a fighter. The reigning monarch took notice of him and took him for her pet. It should be noted that Graceling ae treated as object by the nobles, toys to be broken or played with as they like. He's taken young right? And OMC is not like other Graceling, the ones who bend and break, which become nothing due to the horrors they face. No, he refuses to give in, refuses to break and so the queen takes an interest in doing whatever she can to do so. She kills children, women, and men, in front of OMC. She makes him kill others. She rapes him. She does unspeakable things and finally one day he manages to break free and slaughter every noble in the palace. The country goes through a revolution and the OMC leaves because he wants to experiment the life he fought so hard for. He leaves for France and meets D'art. But he's skittish, like a cat. No, he's a cat. So D'art and Serge (the cook) wait for him to come to them. And it takes time. During that bonding time, D'art teaches OMC the ways of the French, mostly honor which the OMC has no concept of, and the others start to notice that D'art is different. He’s settled a bit, goes off on more missions along (of course OMC come along), gets less injures and into less fights.

Now I really like reaction fics, where the other characters ya know, react to the relationship between OMC and D’art. And some small bonus:
Everyone noticing how the two of them can read each other without saying anything.
Bickering over wounds or moral (“you can’t kill a child” “hmp, you French and your stupid honor”)
OMC coming to save the day
OMC is really submissive
OMC fucking loves affection
OMC is asexual

And like I said, I’d like to see all of this, but really take what you want and I’ll be happy. Don't hesitate to ask for clarification.

Tag to Emelie

Date: 2017-01-04 06:49 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
In the episode, Emilie has visions from what she drinks after fainting. I would like Aramis to drink this liquid in his investigation of what's going on. I noticed in the episode he almost does. I want him to then go back to the garrison, not suspecting anything is wrong with the drink, and startles his brothers by fainting, eventually they figure out it's the drink.I want his brothers to be really worried and protective.

I'd love a modern au our Canon era story where aramis suffers from anxiety and tries to hide it from his brothers, who find out eventually

Modern AU past lives

From: (Anonymous)
I've had an idea for a story for a while, it's a modern au where aramis, athos and porthos don't know each other but had past lives together as musketeers (I know a similar story exists but this one I want the focus to be on the three of them especially aramis)

Athos and porthos start to remember by having dreams. They think nothing of these dreams until they run into each other somewhere and realise all of it was real. They then go on a mission to find aramis.

Aramis is different though, he has always remembered and tried to convince his aristocratic parents but when he got older they sent him to an asylum because his memories became clearer and more detailed, they didn't want to deal with the embarrassment of a son who was convinced he lived a different life with fighting and royalty. Eventually his brothers find him but they find an aramis who has been badly treated in the asylum and athos promptly bribes one of the doctors to release him.

They move in together and put aramis together piece by piece.

Lots of brotherly fluff and cuteness and cuddling and protectiveness. Athos and porthos are the perfect big brothers to a slightly younger and traumatised aramis who grew up with dreams of Savoy.

Aramis from the court

Date: 2017-01-04 07:10 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Aramis grew up in the Court too, but his experience was so frightening that he never speaks about it. He's kept it quiet until for some reason he has to tell his brothers.

Porthos is confused about why aramis kept it secret, but aramis tells him his story. Up to author what happened to aramis in there.

Eventually porthos and aramis bond over it. Up to author on the nature of the relationship of the inseparables.
From: (Anonymous)
AU. Set when Porthos is just beginning to look for his father

Somewhere along the way, he ends up finding more information about his mothers family and figuring out he and his "little brother" are actually related.

They can either be cousins or brothers.

Porthos gets more protective
Athos may be a little jealous
Aramis is extremely amused
Treville is exasperated
And D'art is just plain confused
No Romance please. Just want some family/friendship feels

One Garrison bombed. A disbanded Red-Guard. And an angry King.
Set Before S2
The trio are sent on a mission, leaving an ill little brother behind. Not a day later the Garrison is bombed. Leaving many injured and a Captain & a young Gascon trapped beneath the rubble.

Louis is not amused, not only is his favorite Musketeer and a captain he considered family missing, but the one behind it all is one of the main men he has ever fully trusted the most. The Cardinal(and his guard).

Meanwhile, D'artagnan is trying to keep a very concussed Captain awake, whilst hiding his own injuries and illness. Hoping his brothers find them soon.
Thing's i'd like to see:
- King Louis slowly maturing/becoming more competent
- Family/bamf Musketeers(all)
- Treville and D'artagnan have "bonding" moments(amazing what a concussed man will say, eh?)
- BAMF!QueenAnne
- The Dauphin is not Aramis son. He never slept with Anne, but is the one that figured out she is pregnant.
- Constance is more like a sister to D'art, and an honorary Musketeer(unofficially).
- D'artagnan means a lot to everyone, not just the Inseparables. Doesn't help he's the youngest, much to his chargin.
- Cardinal getting his dues
- Louis also find out he tried to kill his queen, adding more salt to his wound of betrayal.
- Milady is dead
Got this idea in my head while reading animexchick's fanfics and Honey in the Sunshine's "All for one, and one for all...." story. I'm not one for OC's but these stories are brill, I highly recommend them :)

It's called: *When the Garrison Came Tumbling Down*
by DebbieF
From: (Anonymous)
Set between S1 and S2

D'Artagnan has always thought he was expendable. The trio don't realize it at first, until it slaps them all in the face.

After being tortured and put in a healing sleep, the brothers try to figure out why their pup seems to think so. In turn learning not only how lonely it was for the Gascon growing up, but that Alexander D'Artagnan was not a amazing/good father as they had assumed. Especially after his wife died.
- Porthos realizes he has more in common with D'art than he thought
- Alexander somewhat blames Charles for his mothers death. In turn kept him at arms length(it doesn't help that Charles is too much like his stubborn, loving mother either).
- He never touched him, or gave any positive encouragement - and very harsh when they did speak. His father often forgot to feed him, or give better him clothing, etc.

- D'Art had only one friend. An old veteran who lived down the road. He taught him how to wield a sword and be a good man.
- The old vet was a friend/brother of Treville

Just something where Alice doesn't get spooked by the fight and they tie the knot.

And Aramis is intensely jealous of his friend's free time but trying to be, you know, supportive of his happiness, and Alice wants her new husband to be happy too, so the two As circle uneasily around each other being Terribly Polite and Very Awkward.

+1 If Aramis' famed charm deserts him whenever she's in the room

+10 If one night Porthos comes home to find them talking about him and laughing.

(If you want to write them ending up as a poly relationship that's fine, but not necessary.)
From: (Anonymous)
What if it is not made abundantly clear to the whole Musketeer regiment that the rift between d'Artagnan and the inseparables was just a ruse to trap Milady and Richelieu.

What if after all is said and done a group of recruits hoping to earn their commissions who are already jealous of d'Artagnan for earning his so swiftly and not being a child of nobility decide to seek out retribution on d'Artagnan.

They capture and torture him as punishment for what they believe is his crime against the Great Inseparables, only when then drag the bloody, beaten, unconscious d'Artagnan into the garrison at Muster expecting to be praised for getting justice on a traitor they quickly learn just the opposite as the Inseparables rush to d'Artagnan fearing for his life and snarling promises of retribution for the recruits actions, and Treville orders the arrest of them for doing this.

I don't mind either slash or gen

I'd love to see the Inseparables going to teach the recruits a lesson once they're sure d'Artagnan's on the mend only to be stopped just before they can begin to lash them or kick the shit out of them by d'Artagnan who reminds them that while they acted in haste and in mistake they were trying to help those they saw as friends just as the Inseparables are about to do and asks that there be no more violence between brothers in arms since they are Musketeers not Red Guards!.

Hi Anonymous!

I did the first chapter for the Backlash prompt over at Archive of Our Own and Elenduen's d'Artagnan whumpage site.

Here's the link to chapter one and of course it's called... *Backlash*.

From: (Anonymous)
Knowing that he can never have a relationship with Queen Anne or the Dauphin, Aramis is desperate to have a Pup.

However the Omega in their pack, d'Artagnan isn't ready to have Pups yet, he wants to enjoy being a Musketeer before he settles down to have Pups, besides it's hard for Omega's gain muscle tone and he doesn't want to loose what he has just yet.

Without really thinking about what he's doing Aramis tampers with the contraceptives d'Artagnan uses and sure enough he becomes Pupped on his heat.

What follows is an unwanted pregnancy in which d'Artagnan struggles to accept his situation and bond with the Pups, hating his changing shape and worrying about being able to go back to soldiering. Aramis is wracked with guilt for what he's done and can only try to help d'Artagnan through this.

Then the late into the pregnancy d'Artagnan discovers the truth about what Aramis did and why.

Feeling betrayed in so many ways he can't stand to have Aramis near him, Athos and Porthos are too furious but are desperate to keep their pack together as Aramis is desperate to make amends.

With the birth growing ever closer and d'Artagnan needing the support of his whole pack they have to try and work things out, especially when the labor becomes difficult and d'Artagnan's life is threatened....

I don't want to villainize Aramis completely I'd rather he acted without thinking, like he was suffering almost a nervous break down after the loss of Isabelle and getting the Queen Pregnant.

What if the Musketeers lives had taken different courses?.

Athos never met or married Milady, instead he dutifully wed Catherine de Garroville despite not loving her only to loose her in the child bed along with the baby, leaving him alone as the reclusive comte de la Fere.

Aramis took the cloth not the sword as his parents wished, while he believes in God and the teachings of Christ he longs for more than this life can give him and stays in one place only for a few years at a time, eventually coming to La Fere as the new Priest and inadvertantly becoming friends with the depressive Comte.

Porthos never joined the army, he continued to be a thief and one night he tries to rob Athos's chateau only to be caught by the Comte red handed. Instead of turning him in or having him hung Athos takes Porthos in deciding to put his skills to good use as a guard for his lands, he and Aramis teach Porthos how to read and write and how to be more than he is giving him better life by far.

A happy trinity is born and for a time they are settled.

Then a half starved Gascon comes to the estate looking for work.

d'Artagnan and Alexandre never rode to Paris seeking tax relief and he ever became a Musketeer. Alexandre was killed and their land lost during the cardinal's tax collectors reign of terror and while Lebarge was made to pay for his crimes and the King granted tax relief it was too late for d'Artagnan who lost everything.

Athos takes him on as a stable hand and ground keeper and once the boy comes out of his shell he fills the missing piece of their strange bond.

All is well until word comes from Paris, Athos's younger brother Thomas had racked up debts with dangerous people and gotten himself killed and for some reason the Cardinal will not allow the Musketeers or red guards to investigate leaving Athos with no choice but to do so himself, but naturally his three kindred spirits will never let him do so alone.........

Porthos, a fierce and strong young sea-god filled with courage and resilience, is fond of a youthful and beautiful prophet, Aramis. At nights, he would enter his tent, worshipping Aramis like he was his own personal God.

Whilst under the sea, next thing he knows, he feels a nab, like someone is praying to him. When he watches from the shore, he sees that the small fishing village that his love resided, is under siege. Yet he's unable to venture closer, like the enemies carry a charm of prevention. He's hopeless watches as the enemy rides away on horseback, the inhabitants in chains, their intentions set on selling the men and women to slavery.

Porthos decides to venture on land, a great weakness, in order to find him.

Eventually, he finds them, and notices that they sold Aramis to a Roman merchant, who sells him to a band of pirates.

He's determined to see him back to his former prime, even allowing them to make him a slave as well. He endures their cruelty, while the captain (who is Grimaud) has his wicked way with Aramis in his personal quarters. Grimaud has charms and amulets hanging all around his room, preventing deities like Porthos to enter.

But eventually Grimaud finds out what Porthos truly is, when they hit land; watching as the frantic God has to run back to sea, to keep himself alive, turning into sea foam (or else he'd fade away into ash from the lack of moisture).

Will Porthos be able to save Aramis from his fate? Or Will Grimaud take control of Porthos into his hands through Aramis and become the most infamous pirate to ever prowl the Seven Seas?

I don't know if this was prompted already but, a co-op between the Musketeers and the Red Guards would be really cool to see. Like both sides fighting over who is right, who interrogates, etc. Maybe it's a mission sent by the King to perhaps spy on the Spanish, but then it ends up being a whole different operation when some of each own side gets captured during an ambush. They have to get them back before the Spanish sells them to slavery or use them for blackmail or probably recruit them to their own side. Bonus points if Aramis and d'Artagnan are one of the captured and feel like they are perhaps the only two sensible ones on this side.
