Treville has a hard time coping with Richelieu's death, especially as he can't be seen grieving for him openly. Until he learns that Richelieu faked his own death.

Warnings for character death (well, duh), and emotional stress connected to being unable to grieve openly and the fact that faking your death and not telling people in advance is a horrifying thing to do.
