The prompt asked for Louis feeling like a failure about his incapability to please Anne sexually, so he goes to the cardinal for advice. As they decide they need to find a person for Louis to practice on that is loyal, trustworthy, discreet and honest they realise they've basically just described Treville. At first Treville is not too keen on the arrangement but ends up enjoying it.
