Athos is trying to court Aramis - Aramis is oblivious
Date: 2014-09-24 09:08 pm (UTC)Aramis is enjoying these moments alone with their normally aloof Athos, thinking he is finally allowing himself to live after the whole disaster of his marriage and now she is out of his life. It is only when someone points out that if Aramis was a woman, then what Athos is doing would be counted as courting. Aramis laughs this off until he catches Athos' embarrassed and disappointed face. Thinking back, has Athos been Tring to court him all this time. It turns out yes. Athos has had feelings for Aramis since day one and only now had the courage to do something about it. Only Aramis did not notice.
Aramis is slightly ashamed that he has let Athos down and begs to start afresh. This time Aramis plays the part of the courted and begins to fall for his vibrant friend.
