Aramis/ladies, taking the risk of a slighted husband over damaging innocence

"Aramis will always prefer sleeping with married women, despite the risk to his person should he be discovered, because he can be sure they aren't virgins, and he respects that the people of the age hold a great deal of value in that. Not to mention how they would be punished or maligned should his involvement result in a pregnancy. This lesson was not easily learned.
