D'Artagnan/Whoever Outcast

The three Musketeers have to convince d'Artagnan that they don't want him around any more (like in Slight of Hand, but d'Artagnan isn't in on it) for plot purposes. He tries to get involved in whatever they're up to anyway, and there's lots of angst and feeling abandoned, and loyalty and possibly hugging. By the end, it makes d'Artagnan realise that he's in love with the character(s) of your choice.

How would OP feel about this in the context of the OT4, rather than just straight up Athos/D'Artagnan?

Aramis/Richelieu or gen- A shared past

Aramis is a holy man who wanted to be a priest and Richelieu is the Cardinal of France. I've even heard suggestions that Aramis was Richelieu's protoge for a while. So I want that story. Was Richelieu the one who brought Aramis to Paris? Why then, did Aramis walk away from his teacher? Was joining the Musketeers a huge middle finger to the Cardinal? And how do they both deal with seeing each other on opposing sides?

So, the scene in Episode 4 with Constance and Marsac ... I want to see something similar with Marsac and Aramis.

Marsac flirts Aramis (maybe they used to be more than friends back before the massacre),

Being Human Crossover (17th Century Being Human AU)

Based on my friend's comment that Santiago Cabrera and Aidan Turner resemble each other sometimes.

Imagine Aramis and John Mitchell as brothers. Perhaps Mitchell was sick and almost died if it weren't for 'Good Guy' Herrick who turned him to save him. Aramis had plans of becoming a priest but didn't go through with it when he realised he'd never be able to interact with his brother again if he became one (Vampires being sensitive to religious stuff and all). Unfortunately, being a vampire changed Mitchell; he developed a thirst for murder, and though he was so ashamed of it that he tried to hide it from Aramis, the latter eventually found out. This turned into a huge confrontation, which led to them parting ways, etc. Following the falling out with his brother, Mitchell finally embraced his 'true nature' and became a full-blown killer.

Years later, just like in the show, Mitchell finally fights off his blood addiction, meets George and Annie, starts to live a simple life in a small town, almost succeeds at being human. But then something happens (some important French guy dies under mysterious circumstances or something)that brings The Musketeers to investigate in the town where Mitchell now lives.

Bonus points if Aramis acts like a complete dickhead to Mitchell, and suspects that Mitchell is behind the crime. Bonus bonus points if the gang is confused at why Aramis is grumpier than Athos all of a sudden.

Athos leans on Aramis and Porthos far more than you'd think. He might act like the leader but he needs them to keep him going/look after him/withold alcohol. Anything that shows Aramis and Porthos looking after Athos, d'Artagnan can be in there as well but I'd prefer OT3 or OT4 rather than Athos/d'Artagnan. Maybe a 'five times' fic?

The Musketeers mess up royally on a mission. Bad intelligence, or someone being rash- something happens and it's a definite loss for them.

Before anyone else can take responsibility, Athos takes the fall for them all. Hard. Maybe flogging or something.

Porthos, Aramis, and D'Artagnon are horrified at what they have caused and endeavor to take care of their leader in the aftermath.

They don't know why it keeps happening, but it does. Sometimes the meetings end in yelling and stomping off, sometimes they end up in angry wall sex.

So it can't be only me that was really creeped out by the Duke of Savoy during Athos' apology, right? Before the whole icy!fury demeanor set in, Athos seemed pretty unnerved too.

Savoy makes Athos "prove" his contrition. Athos can't say no without causing a major diplomatic incident, plus he's got that terrible self-destructive streak.

Up to the author whether Porthos hears anything and interrupts to rescue him, or has to try and piece it together later. Or a third option, but h/c is very much desired?

Set after D'Artagnon becomes a full Musketeer and joins the OT4.

After a particularly bad fight between the Musketeers and the Cardinals Guards, the King finally decides to settle things with a trade. Several Musketeers will go and live in the Cardinals Barracks while several Guards will stay and train with the Musketeers. Both Aramis and D'Artagnon are chosen to represent the Musketeers. At first, D'Artagnon plans to try and keep his head down and pass the time until he and Aramis can go home. But as time goes on, he starts to notice that the Cardinal seems to spend a lot of time in the barracks. And seems to be targeting Aramis. After a bit of spying, D'Artagnon discovers that before becoming a Musketeer, Aramis was a student of the Cardinal. And Richelieu used his power to abuse young Aramis badly.But now the Cardinal has Aramis back under his control and due to blackmail over his relationship with the other Musketeers, powerless to deny him returning to their past relationship. Realizing Aramis is trapped, D'Artagnon must find a way to sneak back to the Musketeers and get Athos and Porthos help to save Aramis.

Though Aramis himself handles the topic half-jokingly and his friends' disapproval is doled out with the exasperated fondness of those that know he could never actually seriously pursue Anne, Aramis starts to get upset over that as his feelings for her deepen.

Maybe he gets to spend more time with her (personal bodyguard job with the others int he background) or just some time on from where we are in the series now... Aramis getting unusually moody, getting into his cups or something. Just genuinely quite bitter over it.

Bonus points if he's actually feeling genuine unrequited love.

Athos is walking somewhere, along a dark street in the depths of winter. It's cold. There's snow on the ground. A small sack lies in the gutter; curious, he looks inside. What does he see? Kittens. Tiny, frozen, dead kittens. Who could do such a thing?!

That's what makes Athos cry.

Gen, Spanking, Athos disciplins D'artagnan

So, D'artagnan is rather mouthy and insubordinate in some ways, not to mention young and inexperienced. D'artagnan gets more and more insubordinate to the Musketeers and Treville, etc, and no one calls him on it so he gets cocky. One day, he disobeys in some spectacular way, causes a lot of trouble, and Athos finally realizes he needs to take the boy in hand. Cue Athos giving D'artagnan a firm spanking/other punishment, setting out some rules, and generally taking the lad under his wing for some much needed discipline and guidance. Slash between the others Musketeers is fine, but I'm looking for a gen story about non-sexual discipline between Athos and D'artagnan.

Aramis gets turned on being fucked when he's got barely any control over his body so sometimes he gets drunk to that point or does drugs and then finds someone to fuck him.

Porthos has been keeping an eye on this for a while and hates it with a passion and is really worried about Aramis doing this with complete strangers so eventually he ends up taking those strangers' place.

Milady the bitch De Winter is not about to let Athos have a happy ending with his young Gascon and budding family and hires thugs to kidnap D`artagnan to dispose of him and the unborn baby or babies.

I`d love a panicing Athos tearing Paris apart looking for D`artagnan, eventualy finding him in labour and Aramis having to deliver the baby or babies, plus Porthos fainting would be hilarious!.

D`artagnan has a problem, he has to be perfect, he can not be satisfied with mediocre he must perfect himself in everything and punishes himself if he falls short of his impossible goals.

He cuts, he starves, he binges and purges, everything he can to make himself pay for his failings.

Athos is not blind to the Gascon`s behavior, and after all D`artagnan has done in helping him deal with his former murderous wife is not about to let the boy destroy himself.

Massive hurting, self loathing and self conscious D`artagnan and comforting Athos leading to slash, filler can be explicit or mild depending on how they want to write this

On a mission, it becomes necessary for someone to play the role of a prisoner of the other three. For whatever reason, Aramis is their man. Cue bondage, dangerous situations, and the others trying to protect Aramis in his vulnerable state while still making it convincing. Up to you whether they succeed or not. Can be any or no pairing.

In light of Porthos shooting the melon off of Aramis head while drunk in episode five, I’d love to see them get into a situation that requires Porthos to make the same shot while completely sober. Maybe they’re forced into it like with William Tell’s apple-shot or something.

Needless to say, things go badly. Just how badly - just a graze, injury or worse - is up to you.

I'd prefer if you didn't kill Aramis, but if that's your thing, go for it. Some guilt and lots of hurt/comfort would make my day.
