The lowdown: You post your prompt, anon or not. Someone else will hopefully fill it (also anon or not). Not for profit, just for fun. And in this case, for king and country.

I am working on another fic at present however if OP has no objection to Athos/d`Artagnan slash then I might give this a go too, and I totally agree they`d want revenge they`re not the type to take being manipulated and beaten at their own games lightly.

With all his limbs dislocated, the guards now had no need to tied him up or to hold him down, instead they left d`Artagnan sprawled on the floor in blood and piss, lifting him by the hips to take their pleasure on him and tossing him aside when they were done, spitting into his face and kicking at him as he lay helpless and broken, a thick red mark was gauged into his throat, promising a scar and chilling reminder of Milady, and making his throat hurt to much to speak or even cry.

Dimly d`Artagnan slipped into a state between concsiousness and sleep, feeling something being tied into his hair was he was picked up under the arm pits and dragged from his cell, the pain had him falling unconscious once more and he did not awake again until he was flung down into the ally beside the Musketeer garrison, in a bloody broken heap, a single forget me not tied into his hair so Athos would have no doubts as to who brought this upon the Gascon.

It was one of the other Musketeers who brought the news to Aramis, Athos and Porthos, having stumbled across d`Artagnan on his way back from patrols.
On entering the allyway and seeing the Gascon laying in a heap of burned, torn, abused flesh, Athos felt his heart cease to beat, it was clear he had been brutally tortured, his arms and legs splayed out in unnatural angles showing either fractures or dislocation, his back lashed, front beaten and burned, face bruised, burned, and cut, his thighs coated in so much blood it was obvious to anyone that he`d suffered the worst kind of abuse imaginable, but it was the flower tied into d`Artagnan`s hair that had Athos gagging, the God Damn blue flower, her signiture, his Muderous wife to whom he`d shown mercy had come back for one last shot at him, and had succeeded in piercing his heart with her dagger, for she had hurt not him, but who he truely cared about the most, D`Artagnan.
