Hey everyone, here's a mod contact post.
You can use it to talk to me, ask me things, let me know when you want something deleted and if there's arguments going on on the meme.

Date: 2014-06-06 08:33 pm (UTC)The general one which is not assuming that every person and character on the planet is cis and the kink meme one where I think it's not wrong and not too difficult to shoot the OP a quick question whether what you're writing still meets their prompt
But then I'd also not see it as strictly as like with a fic exchange. Since the prompt is open to the public and more than one person can fill it.
Tl; dr: I'm not going to make a decision on whether it's right or wrong or ok. I'm going to leave it up to authors and prompters to communicate over these things in a constructive and respectful fashion.
In this case, I am going to leave the decision up to you. You can fill it the way you wanted to with the the possibilities that the prompter might like it, not like it or be indifferent to it. Or you can ask the OP whether it's ok.

Writing het for a slash prompt would be rude with cis characters, and is still rude with trans.

Date: 2014-06-07 07:51 pm (UTC)Interest in men wetting doesn't always mean interest in women or other genders wetting. Hence why asking is good.

Date: 2014-06-08 10:20 pm (UTC)I must say that reading this thread has made me hugely uncomfortable as it looks very much like one author in particular has been 'named and shamed' as in a fandom this small it doesn't take much to work out which fic has caused the perceived problem, which is too close to finger pointing for my liking.
I really don't think it's reasonable to 'police' how prompts are filled, and I very much support your stance.
