Hey everyone, here's a mod contact post.
You can use it to talk to me, ask me things, let me know when you want something deleted and if there's arguments going on on the meme.

Date: 2014-06-06 09:15 pm (UTC)The polite response to receiving a fill is always, "Thanks, Author!Anon! That's a really interesting take on the prompt" or some variation thereof.
Only the people who are extremely bothered by the idea of genderfluidity would expend the effort to exclude it from their prompt, and I sincerely hope that there aren't too many such people on the meme.

Date: 2014-06-06 10:17 pm (UTC)Do I have to specify that in every prompt? I don't want to come across as being anti in anyway. They just don't do anything for me.

Date: 2014-06-07 12:39 am (UTC)I would argue that's implicit in the pairing or moresome request already, and shouldn't need restating.
If it were a character like Grendel in Black Butler, trans would be the default, but for the Musketeers it isn't.
Just ask.

Date: 2014-06-07 07:28 am (UTC)If I ask for Ninon/Constance for example, do I need to specify f/f?
I can see how a prompt would need to specify gen, slash or transgender, but as genderswitch seems like a bigger shift away from what you actually see in front of you, I think an author would be best to check first.

Date: 2014-06-07 08:10 am (UTC)Athos/d'Artagnan is understood as m/m unless otherwise specified, same as Constance/Flea is understood as f/f. And lots of prompts exist for genderswap, but when it's not a genderswap prompt, it would be good to ask first.
