Saving the Cardinal's feline overlords (animal cruelty)
Date: 2016-05-07 01:51 am (UTC)My first time ever in the Musketeers kink meme, and I have to start right off the bat with warning for animal cruelty, sorry.
I've only recently got into the BBC series (always catching on when something's cancelled) though I've been a fan of the books for a long time. I've got a strange kink for the historical Richelieu as well, and my reaction to most adaptations is usually "This show needs more cats.". Richelieu had fourteen at one point, sleeping on his bed, pampered by two servants, fed chicken paté, with a playroom next to his study and a cattery in Versailles etc. He made generous provisions for his darlings in his will, and shortly after his death the Swiss Guard killed them all. :-(
Now, Internet being more cat images than porn, will someone write a story where history is changed and Our Heroes save the Cardinal's feline overlords from their fate? Crack is OK as long as the cats survive. (Ludovic le Cruel, the excellent ratcatcher, and his Polish girlfriend Ludoviska would be lovely additions to the Musketeer regiment. Among others.) Please save the kitties.
