This is the post where you get to chat.

Talk about anything you want, Musketeers related or not.

Be respectful, do not start wank and drama. If something does arise, please send a message to the account. I'll get to dealing with it as soon as possible.

This meme is an original vs. adaptations argument-free zone.

Yeah, I finally gave up and posted them as is (with some minor editing) to A03. I'm far too lazy to actually edit them.

Good night's sleep does wonders!

Oh, geez. I have one ongoing (http://bbcmusketeerskink.dreamwidth.org/774.html?thread=524294#cmt524294) - but I've filled... hang on:

*shrugs* This fandom has inspired me. It's been a while since I've written quite so prolifically.

Oh yay! I commented positively on several of those (and mostly haven't gotten around to reading the rest).

I also did Cassoulet, which I now realise probably wasn't a food in 1630 because the beans are from the new world and may not have worked that deeply into rural France, but OH WELL.

I have this very vague idea of what life was like in France during that time period and then just wing the rest. It's been working out for me so far.

I think everyone's a pretty forgiving bunch, as far as historical accuracy goes (which, you pretty much have to be for the show... afsjkdlaj)

Now I have to track down that one to read!

SA

(Oh, duh, thank you also, for the kind comments on the fics!)

Haha. I'm horrible about research. I've been getting library books. I keep telling myself that it's Musketeers fic and nobody cares (No one believes in witches in 1630!), but I can't help myself. Your approach sounds a lot more restful.

If you were the one who just left that lovely long comment, thank you very much. If not, I really enjoyed chatting with you anyway :D

I work at a library and they can always tell what I'm into now because they keep telling me, "X, you had some books come in... are we into 17th century France now?"

But I've usually moved on before I can actually incorporate that research into my fic. And yes, the witches thing. I just covered my face and laughed, because yeah.

I did indeed - I really do enjoy your writing style so much! ♥ I've had fun chatting with you, too!
