Abusive Childhood d`Artagnan protective Musketeers D`Art/Athos TW Child abuse, hurt/comfort

What if Alexandre D`Artagnan was`nt d`Artagnan`s Father but his Grandfather.

What if his Mother had been Alexandre`s Daughter, and she and d`Artagnan`s Father had`nt wanted children, and had abused d`Artagnan through out his childhood, beating him, starving him, using him like a slave.

Until Alexandre found out and took d`Artagnan away, raising him as his own son, and disowning his daughter.

Years later, d`Artagnan`s past comes back to haunt him, when his Mother and Father come to Paris, demanding that he give them his Mothers inheritance, and when they learn that d`Artagnan has nothing, they insist he give them his pay from his Musketeer wages, and live with them again and serve them as he did as a child.

Afraid that if his past is revealed he will be seen as weak and unfit to be a Musketeer d`Artagnan does as they say, giving up all his money, working himself into the ground to serve them, trying to hide the injuries from the beatings and carry on as normal in front of his friends.

However eventually the truth is revealed, and there is hell to pay, because Musketeers always take care of their own.

Treville's Daycare- Modern AU

Treville runs a little daycare called 'the Garrison', watching over and taking care of the various children there. Like the fiery red-haired Constance, the spoiled Louis, the ill-behaved Rochefort (he's a bitter), the lovely but creepy little girl Milady (along with other various characters from the show as children) and of course, the rambunctious and destructive three little monsters by the name of Athos (whos got a chocolate-milk problem and a hair-pulling past with Milady), Porthos (who doesn't like bullies and isn't afraid to get violent) and Aramis (who carries a few extra band-aids and can take care of skinned knees and elbows all on his own)! Things only get more interesting at the daycare when a new and younger child is enrolled into the daycare by the name of d'Artagnan.

Crushes and playground-drama is fine, humor is a must and crack is optional.

Awwww so cute!, I can see little Athos and d`Art having sword fights with their plastic swords!, Porthos giving piggy backs to the smaller kids, and them setting up pillow forts to hold siege against Rochefort!.

Poor Treville!, he must live off painkillers and anti-acids!

Aramis has no past

Aramis has no memory of his life before Savoy. While Treville was able to tell him about the recent past, even he has no idea of Aramis' real name or where he comes from.

Aramis has accepted that his life effectively began in that snowy forest - it's not as if his friends are constantly talking about their childhood or people they've known in the past so he really doesn't feel that lack.

But then one day they come across someone who recognises Aramis and calls him Rene, which inspires in him the need to find out who he really is.

That person could be Isabelle (but no affair with the queen please) or someone else completely, who maybe hints at a much darker history (before conveniently dying :)).

Aramis/Athos, OT3 or gen, any is good as long as there's lots of brotherly love. Angst is an optional (but desirable) extra.

Rochefort torturing aramis for baby confession

i'd love to read a story where rochefort is almost sure about aramis beeing the father of the queens child. to be absolutely sure he captures him and tortures him for a confession. superb would be if his friends are either there during the interogation or see him in between questionings..outraged but unable to stop it (super concerned brothers:)). maybe rochefort even finds out athos knows too and tortures aramis in front of him to make athos talk...but of course knowing his confession would be a death sentence for aramis, athos stays silent and has to watch. happy ending and comfort are super, but the hurt/concern/protectivness/worry part is my absolute favourite!

Domestic Athos

There are many stories out there with Athos being completely rubbish at domestic tasks but I'm craving the opposite.
The boys find themselves somewhere they can't get away from easily (maybe they're snowed in while being on a mission or something like that). Porthos, Aramis and d'Artagnan soon get into bickering over the question who should be the one to cook, clean up the small cabin they are stranded in and so on. No-one pays attention to Athos but they soon learn that he not only is a fantastic cook but he also would make an excellent housekeeper.

Milady is back

She is the Kings acknowledged Mistress

She wants revenge on Athos and the Musketeers.

Instead of going directly to harming Athos, she decides that the best way to hurt him, is to hurt those he loves, and bring him to his knees in despair before she kills him.

While on patrol of the streets Porthos is shot in the abdomen.
By sheer luck the ball misses his organs, but he looses copious amounts of blood, and is bed bound, with a risk of infection that could end his life.

Aramis receives what he thinks is a gift of wine from one of his admirers, instead he is left fighting for his life as a poison floods his body, leaving him dangerously ill.

D`Artagnan is attacked in the street, dragged into an abandoned house, he is brutally tortured, a brand of forget me nots burned into his chest, and a letter nailed to his back before before being dumped outside the garrison for Athos to discover him.

The letter commands Athos to surrender himself to Milady at (any destination) or his friends will all die.

Fearing for the lives of those he loves above all, Athos decides to do as she says and submit himself to her revenge.

Can Porthos, Aramis and d`Artagnan drag themselves from their sick beds and stop him before it`s too late, or will Milady win after all?

I`d love OT4 Slash, it`d make Athos angst all the more potent, but bromance works well too.

A not so ordinary Romance Series two spoilers alternate Episode 2 outcome Louis/D`Artagnan

What if things went slightly differently in An Ordinary Man, and Milady was never there, and had no role in Louis and d`Artagnan`s escape.

What if d`Artagnan managed to get himself and Louis to safety without her help, resulting in Louis becoming enamoured of his youngest Musketeer and champion.

What follows is Louis attempting to woo d`Artagnan, and eventually a romance forming between them.

Bonus

Aramis and Porthos finding it hilarious that Louis got a thing for d`Art

Athos being worried for d`Artagnan`s safety and how he will be treated by the King, acting like a concerned parent

Louis and Anne having an arrangement, that they can have lovers provided they are discrete, (Louis knows Aramis Fathered the Dauphin but since this is as close as he`ll get to fatherhood has proclaimed the baby his since he is likely infertile)

Aramis/Anne is welcome if the author wishes along with Porthos/Athos and any other pairings

Treville is in charge of 'The Garrison' a top notch medical field hospital that houses the the best medical team in the regiment.

Was thinking :-
* Treville's aide Constance {Radar} who effectively runs the place
* Milady {Hotlips Houlihan} for reasons
* Rochefort {Klinger} trying to get thrown out by wearing dresses
* d'Artagnan coming in as a Doogie Howser type character and having to learn the ropes from The Inseparables

- anyway, just a thought...
Any pairings and any era of field hospital is okay.

Anne/porthos fluff

How is this not a thing? Delicate, genteel Anne and her iron spirit. Passionate, strong Porthos and his gentle heart. They deserve each other. They deserve fluff and zero political scandal please. Louis and Anne making a deal to keep Milady if Anne can keep Porthos in turn. Porthos being injured protecting his Queen and said Queen fussing at his bedside until he wakes up. And then there's held back tears and kissing of knuckles. What more could you want in an OTP honestly

Protective!athos/porthos

Athos is usually a pretty in control, calming presence as a friend but he loses. his. shit when porthos goes down for the count. When porthos gets so hurt he stops making jokes is when athos decides it's time to Hulk out. We've seen aramis getting protective of porthos but I just wanna see athos' fatherly instincts in protecting him.

You know, the one Aramis wears.

How did he come by it? Is it just a co-inkydink that it matches the colour of the Musketeers?

I always think when he doesn't wear it, he looks kind of odd. What do his mates think? Have they ever had to take over dressing him (like if he's been injured) and they've cursed the sash cos they can't get it right? They've certainly all found it useful though- bandage, makeshift pillow etc.

Seen at lot about Athos' scarf recently and it just set me wondering...

While Constance was pardoned for taking the baby (and really there were like a thousand better ways she could have handled that) I want the missing scene conversation between the queen and Constance about it. As a mother, as relieved as Anne would have been that her baby was improving in health, I think she still would have been extremely upset that Constance didn't talk to her about the idea first. I do want Anne forgiving of her, but I'd like the scene of her telling Constance 'I need to trust you - you have to speak with me first' and Constance getting it.

(Mildly annoyed because I think it was silly that Constance seemed so dumbfounded that people were so upset with her.)

I too was staring at my screen in complete disbelief that Constance chose this way to solve her problem :( I felt like she was putting herself in the wrong whereas, if she'd tried approaching the Queen from her position of trust, she might have accomplished the same goal with much less angst.

Milady becomes an agent for Anne, because every Queen needs a personal spy/mercenary she can trust. Anne compensates her work with a small estate so that she never has to depend on a man ever again. Milady apologizes for being Not Nice to Constance. Anne and Constance melt Milady's cold little heart. And the three of them rule France together the end

Kidnapping rescue attempt/reunion after captivity

One of the four gets kidnapped. He escapes but is injured in the process and tries to make his way home. When the others get to where the brother was being held, they can't find him and his captors lead them to believe he is already dead. Which doesn't go over well with the Musketeers. At all.

Reign of Fire AU

A group of survivors living under the protection of Treville and his Musketeers (a nickname given to them by the survivors) helping keeping them safe from the dragons laying waste to the land. D'Artagnan joining then after loosing his father to a dragon fleeing the city to try find shelter in the countryside.
Rochefort threatening their haven by bringing his dragon hunters (The Red Guards) into the area.

Chief Information Gatherer's Days Off

It seems to me that Aramis is the guy who is sent to talk to folk to gather information. I'm not talking interogation stuff just kind of like when he spoke to the guy by the docks. Its not that the others can't do the job, its just Porthos can be intimidating and impatient and Athos can be intimidating and accidently rude and And d'Artagnan still doesn't quite know when enough info is enough...

But Aramis can't be available every time so a 5+1 (or similar) on times the others had to gather simple info but it went wrong and one time it went wrong for Aramis and the others had to bail him out.

Looking for more humourous scenarios than angst ones but I would be happy if anyone gave this a go.

Examples of what I mean- Porthos has to get info off someone who he towers over and due to his rough and ready approach, the poor person is slightly terrified and stammers and stumbles through what they know.
Athos starts well but then he gets bored of it all and unfortunately forgets to at least look interested and then his mouth spills out something abrupt or rude and inevitably he gets told to sling his hook.
D'Artagnan takes far too long because he collects info and then some. He gets sucked into conversations. Can't end the chatter.

Aramis gets it done. No messing. Except that time when... You decide.

Musketeers Mess Hall Orgies

So how about that scene at the beginning of S02E04, where everyone is hanging out in the mess hall at the Musketeers' garrison half-dressed? I don't think anyone has their shirt more than half laced up, several of the background characters have obvious bed hair, and Aramis in particular looks well-fucked. Even Treville's flashing a lot of skin when you consider how buttoned-up he usually is.

From this, I have concluded that mealtime at the garrison is obviously orgytime, and request fic of this please!

Only stipulation: no feeding kinks of any kind. I know, this fic is about sex in a cafeteria, but it's a major trigger for me.

Bonus points (use all or none):

- The mess hall is the standard place to go for no-strings-attached sexytimes. You might be in a relationship outside, but when you step into the hall you're up for grabs.

- Musketeers frequently use code language for sex revolving around the mess hall and food. Two Musketeers are sneaking off to sleep with each other? They're headed for the mess. Someone's chasing after a woman? He's having steak tonight. The Captain's having a working lunch? He's off getting some from his lover/mistress/whomever.

- Someone wildly improbable walks into the mess hall mid orgy (the King? the Cardinal? Rochefort?) and beats a hasty retreat, convinced they've had too much to drink and are experiencing a vivid hallucination.
-- Or some random novice inexplicably doesn't recognize them and hauls them into the orgy. Three hours later Whomever stumbles away from the garrison, clothes and wig askew, having completely forgotten why they were there in the first place.

Character merging gender bender of sorts AKA Constance D`Artagnan

AU obviously

Merging the two chracters of Charles d`Artagnan and Constance Bonacieux into one character.

A fiery red haired swords woman who becomes the first and only female Musketeer in France.

Hailing from Gascony, where women are often taught how to defend themselves from brigands, Constance d`Artagnan comes to Paris to avenge her Fathers Murder, only to end up saving the Musketeer she thought responsible.

In doing so she earns the respect of the Musketeers, and their Captain, who, albeit reluctantly, and over protectively allow her to train with them and join them on missions, eventually leading up to her being commissioned by the King.

I`d love and Athos/d`Artagnan pairing, with a side of very jealous Milady de Winter.

A Fatherly Bonacieux whom d`Artagnan befriends after using him as a distraction in the Market place.

Bonus, if d`Art has to dress as a prostitute to get past the red guards as Constance did in Episode One
