Modern Airport AU - OT3 + D'Artagnan

(Anonymous) 2015-05-04 10:03 am (UTC)(link)
For some reason, two of the Inseparables decide to send their new apprentice D'Artagnan to the airport to welcome the last of them. The problem is that D'Artagnan doesn't know this man's face and name, so he asks the two men about it but they refuse to answer. Consequently, D'Artagnan has to wait this mysterious man at the airport terminal holding a card with this ridiculous pet name which is the only information he can get from the two men.

Gen or slash is fine. ^^

The Ghosts and It- moder supernatural AU

(Anonymous) 2015-05-06 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry this is long prompt, but only to set things up and was completely inspired by musicmillennia's recent and adorable fic up at AO3.

When Porthos was still young and living on the streets with Flea and Charon, a deal goes bad and they end up stealing from the wrong people, forced to split up and flee for their lives into the night. His pursuers chase him into a old section of town that still has tall imposing stone buildings from times long past before the 16oo's. Most of them still well maintained because of their historical relevance and being tourist attractions even though they (for the most part) stay empty.

There is also a popular story that the place is haunted and not just by ghosts, but a monster! There is also the disquieting fact that people occasionally do go missing in the vicinity of this one imposing structure, the nameless historical society with the city that manages and maintains the building have a strict curfue. No one is allowed in the building after nightfall and the staff make sure its securely locked, there is not even a security guard posted, yet no one (save a few) can or will say just why. Though they deny its to do with the stories, ghosts, monster? Thats just silly!

Porthos has heard the stories, everyone has, but old stories told to scare little kids is the least of his problems when the local bad-guys are out to stomp you into a smear on the pavement. So in desperation he breaks into the building to hide and soon he and his pursuers become lost in the dark maze within, unfortunately for them there is a monster who once went by the name of Rochefort that stalks the dark many corridors and massive rooms (think 'It' by Stephen King). A few of Porthos' pursuers get eaten/killed and Porthos only makes it out alive to escape the building at dawn is thanks to a few helpful ghosts trapped there by the name of Aramis and Athos.

Years later Porthos is now a man having pulled himself out of poverty, been in the military and is now a Ghost Hunter and he's heading back to that building with a camera in hand to investigate and try and help the (good)spirits within with his fellow ghost hunter d'Artagnan.

Portamis, Athos/d'Art, Richelieu/de Tréville, otp3 or Gen is all welcome!

Gen- d'Artagnan gets the absolute hell beaten out of him (Extreme violence)

(Anonymous) 2015-05-06 02:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly what you would think.

d'Artagnan is attacked and brutally- as in, nearly-to-death- beaten by whomever and for whatever reason Anon would like to go with. It's about mid-winter, so there's snow everywhere. Attacker(s) eventually leave, but d'Artagnan is in such a bad way (Bleeding severely, cuts, bruises, broken bones even, freezing, whatever...) by the time that they stop that he literally cannot get himself to help or safety. He's either stuck just lying there waiting for it to be over, or he might be able to sort of stumble about in a delirious fashion for a bit.

Things just generally don't look so great for him.

However, he's eventually found by any friendly Anon chooses. Could be one or all of the Inseparables, Treville, Constance...maybe even somebody unusual for the role like Bonacieux or the Cardinal/Cardinal's guards, or just somebody not frequent in fanfic at all. In any case, patching-up and hurt/comfort ensue.

Anything of that general ilk would be highly appreciated! I honestly have no real preferences other than it not being an Inseparable or Treville that hurt d'Artagnan to begin with. I also don't mind if Anon chooses to throw in other stuff as well or alter the scenario in any way.

Re: Gen- d'Artagnan gets the absolute hell beaten out of him (Extreme violence) P1

(Anonymous) 2015-05-07 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I've had a bash at this. Here's the first part.

The snow had been falling heavily all day, laying thick and fast on the streets of Paris; covering the filth and dirt with a coating of white. It almost made the streets look beautiful with its purity. Almost.

The purity of the snow had been tainted by red. Blood had seeped through the white forever defiling the snow it flowed over. There was too much of it and in the centre was a young man, badly beaten and freezing in the cold. His broken body lying still almost as if he was dead but if one looked closely he was still breathing shallowly as he was abandoned by his attackers and they skulked off into the night.

What had happened? The night had started out pleasantly enough despite the weather, he had been to the tavern with his brothers but had left early, feeling exhausted from the challenges of the day. He had quickly noticed that he was being followed and had attempted to confuse his stalkers by heading down a nearby alley. It hadn’t worked.

He had been expecting the first blow and blocked it. He put up a good fight, he was a strong fighter after all, but there were too many of them and they quickly overpowered him. He felt himself hit the floor as he heard accusations from his attackers over the incorrect assumption that he had tried to seduce one of the men’s wife. He had tried to defend himself over these accusations but the men could not be pacified. The beating continued.

He had no idea how long it went on for but eventually the blows ceased and he was left alone in the snow. In his half-conscious state he was vaguely aware of his injuries. He knew he had at least two broken ribs and his arm was refusing to co-operate. The warm blood against the cold snow indicated to him that he was losing a lot of blood and quickly. He knew that he had to move.

That was easier said than done. Despite his brain shouting at him to get up and move his body wasn’t listening. He could do nothing but lie there in the snow and slowly freeze. Time meant nothing any longer as the minutes stretched out, feeling like hours. He welcomed the numbness that accompanied the unconsciousness that descended upon him. It was easier than feeling the pain.

“Mon Dieu,” a voice permeated the darkness. He thought he recognised the voice but he was too tired to figure out who it was. He just wanted to sleep. “What has happened to you d’Artagnan?”

He couldn’t respond. He didn’t have the energy to. Everywhere hurt so much he just wanted to pain to go away. He let out a small cry of pain as he felt the familiar man hoist him up and hold him securely in his arms. He had thought that it was impossible to feel any more pain than he was already in. He was wrong.

“I’m sorry,” the voice apologised. “I will try to be gentle.”
D’Artagnan felt himself being carried through the streets, the voice keeping him from succumbing to the darkness. He wasn’t sure if he was grateful for that or not. “Please,” he managed to gasp, not even sure what he was pleading for, the pain to stop or to be left alone.

“It’s all right, you are safe now. No-one’s going to hurt you,” the voice was comforting and for a moment, in his haze, d’Artagnan actually believed it.

“Help,” he whispered softly as he felt the sweet pull of unconsciousness take hold and he fell into a blissful oblivion.

When Heaven and Hell let out - AU

(Anonymous) 2015-05-08 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
Heaven and Hell are forever at odds, with the Mortal world trapped between the two feuding powers/dimensions with various players fighting for either side and plenty more who fight for their 'own' side. While other beings just want to be left alone be they Angel, Demon and or other creature of light or darkness.

The Inseparables in life fell together in war leaving the mortal world, but found themselves cruelly separated not by death but the afterlife.
Heaven eagerly snapped Porthos up for their ranks as soon as his big heart gave its last beat, his good soul in no doubt, aswell as the fiery young d'Artagnan. But it was not the same for Aramis or Athos, both far more aware of the heaviness of their souls and the darkness they carried, neither surprised when they found themselves in the chaotic realm of Hell. Time moves on the conflict of Heaven and Hell continue as various wars are waged in the Mortal world and all to soon its modern times in the Mortal world and its into this world that the much changed Inseparables will meet again.

Porthos is now a Archangel with massive powerful white wings and flaming sword, he's also been looking for his brothers for centuries now. Still upset that they had not ascended as he and d'Art and even later Treville (both high angels as well).

Both Aramis and Athos managed to keep their souls while separated and trapped in their own personal torments in Hell (Athos spending a lot of time with the now high-demon Milady, Richelieu is also in Hell but is now very involved in all the politics involved there), but their time there has also changed them. Done with their time in purgatory (thanks to overcrowding and time served) both now free to wander Hell and the Mortal world as they please, both having done their best to try and stay out of the messy politics of Hell. Athos is a powerful demon, though he looks like a dark angel because of his large black wings, he cant eat or drink anything save alcohol which doesn't even give him a buzz no matter how much he drinks. Aramis is now a lust-demon/incubus who feeds off sexual energy to survive, he's got small horns, a tail, black bat-wings and looks like he fell out of a dark wet-dream.
What happens when the Inseparables finally find each other again?

Gen or pairings welcome

I very much enjoy the hurt d'Artagnan story, but I am missing the comfort part.

Aramis, Athos and Porthos being there as their younger brother recovers from injury, illness or whatever.

Can be short or long, just some comfort, please.

Richelieu/Treville, pre!S1 (gen is also fine)

(Anonymous) 2015-05-12 04:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd like to read more about their games they've played over the years, trying to save France and everything. How they argue over some politics, duels, how they kinda hate each other's guts but they never thought about not hating each other?
and may be, just may be, it grew into something more? Or it was a possibility of growing into something until Richelieu died?
Basically I want a spin-off about decisions Treville and Richelieu both took to protect France.

A baby?, is it yours!?, Omegaverse D`Artagnan/Constance D`Artagnan/Athos/Constance Mpreg

(Anonymous) 2015-05-13 09:33 pm (UTC)(link)
A twist on Bonacieuxs idiot question to Constance in episode three of season two, asking her if The Dauphin was her baby!, and her replying
"In case you hav`nt noticed you have to get pregnant first!"

Well that got my twisted mind thinking, what if that was literal, Bonacieux having to get pregnant with him as an Omega and Constance as an Alpha?, and that led to me thinking, what if the baby was`nt The Dauphin but was Constance`s baby by Omega d`Artagnan?.

What if she, d`Artagnan, and eventually Athos ended up in a relationship, resulting in d`Artagnan falling pregnant by Constance during their last time together before Bonacieux broke them up, and the baby Constance was looking after was in fact their Son or Daughter?.

I would love to see Constance sneaking out of the house to go to the garrison to be with her pregnant Omega mate, who Athos is caring for, and Athos rushing to tell her when d`Artagnan goes into labour.

Feel free to kill of Bonacieux if you wish, no one will miss him after all!.

Little Match makers modern AU Musketeers as kids Richelieu/Treville

(Anonymous) 2015-05-14 09:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Treville and Richelieu are both single parents caring for adopted sons.

Richelieu`s son is Charles d`Artagnan, whom he became guardian to following the death of d`Artagnan`s parents whom he had been friends with, and eventually adopted the boy.

Treville has adopted three sons

The first of which was Porthos, the Son of an old ex-friend of his who decided being a parent was too much hassle after Porthos`s mother died, disgusted by Belgards actions, Treville took Porthos in and subsequently adopted him as is own son.

The second is Aramis, an Orphan who was being raised in a Church run Orphanage, at the Church Treville attends, catching his eye and his heart, Treville adopted Aramis.

The third is Athos, a troubled boy who`s parents marriage fell apart in dramatic circumstances resulting in his Mother shooting dead her husband!, since she was now serving fifteen to life, Athos was to end up in Foster care, but as Treville had been the investigating officer he`d taken Athos home with him, and there he had stayed, soon after being adopted aswell as Treville`s third Son.

All four boys now attend the same school, and love each other very much, and come to a simple conclusion.

Since their Daddies are not married to anyone, or having grown up friendships with anyone, then there is no reason that their Daddies should`nt get together and get married!.

That way all four of the boys could live together forever!, and Daddy Treville and Daddy Richelieu will be happy and live happily ever after!.

So the four, six, seven, and nine year old boys plot to match make and marry off their Daddies to each other!....

Alpha/Omega AU (Violence, torture, death of children)

(Anonymous) 2015-05-15 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I reallllly want to write this myself, but am just not comfortable doing so, so if anyone wants to adopt it, by all means. It's similar in places to other Werewolf AU ideas that have been posted here.

d'Artagnan knows nothing of werewolves when he first arrives in Paris.

Nearing the full moon, Athos starts to behave a little more aggressively than normal, which is made worse due to nearing the anniversary of Milady's 'death'. d'Artagnan doesn't know the full story behind Athos' dark mood, and pushes too hard trying to help. Athos snaps at him, they argue, and d'Artagnan storms away.

Their argument takes place the night of the full moon, so d'Artagnan has just walked into a Paris that's full of werewolves. Realizing the danger, Athos goes after him, only to transform and wind up biting d'Artagnan.

d'Artagnan becomes a werewolf, an Omega, but has no idea that Athos is the one who turned him. He gradually comes to grips with this new development, and the Inseparables speak with Treville about officially accepting d'Artagnan into their pack- preferably in a familial way rather than romantic.

(Either Athos, Porthos, and Aramis are all Alphas whereas Aramis is a Beta, or all of them can be Alphas)

Anything that happens in the middle is totally up to Anon, but eventually leads to the set up in "Musketeers Don't Die Easily"- except that when d'Artagnan tells Milady that Constance means nothing to him, she wants 'proof'- preferably of an implied rather than very onscreen nature.

d'Artagnan is already unhappy about this, but shortly after begins to feel ill; nobody warned him that Alphas can impregnate Omegas, and he's even more distressed to learn this is exactly what happened. At first, he isn't sure what's wrong, but eventually the Inseparables have to tell him.

For a little over a month, the four manage to hide d'Artagnan's condition and covertly ensure that he takes it easy on missions as best he can, but shortly before full moon, he's captured and heavily tortured. At first, he thinks he'll be able to escape when he transforms during the full moon, but it turns out his captors are werewolves as well, and are sadistically pleased by his Omega status.

As a result of his injuries and the overall stress of the situation, the pups, three or four of them, arrive early. All but one of them die within the first day, but d'Artagnan manages to escape with the last one, captors in pursuit.

Meanwhile, the Inseparables arrive to rescue him and find themselves in a race against time to find d'Artagnan before their enemies do.

Entirely up to Anon how it ends and anything else that happens.

Richelieu/Treville The Challenge During the fight and Aftermath

(Anonymous) 2015-05-17 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I`ve only recently got into this pairing, and had thought during re-watching The Challenge, how would Treville and Richelieu react to each others actions during the episode if they were together.

I`d like to know Treville`s thoughts as he fights Lebarge, and Richelieu`s when he sees his lover coming out to fight the Monster he`s pitted against the Musketeers.

Then the two of them having an argument/make up when it`s all over complete with

"What the hell were you thinking taking on a brute like that?"

"What the hell were you thinking commissioning a brute like that!?"

This is one of my favourite scenarios for them, so I'd love to see another fic for that, but in the meantime, there used to be a couple of prompts and fills for this, sort of, back when s1 aired:

first of all there's this wonderful piece by smaragdbird:

and then there's this one, which is actually Richelieu/Treville/Louis, but might still cover some of that?

Constance/d'Artagnan domesticity

(Anonymous) 2015-05-19 12:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Something rated teen at the very most, with d'Artagnan and Constance just being together.

Could include things like them cooking together- d'Artagnan's from Gascony, after all!- washing dishes, Constance enlisting the help of d'Artagnan's tallness to fetch something down from somewhere...interacting with a kitten or puppy, d'Artagnan being his usual self and Constance attending the patching-up, further shooting/sword-fighting lessons, them with a baby (Not their own)

Really, just...anything with ridiculously adorable Constagnan?

Aramis' romantic origin story

(Anonymous) 2015-05-19 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
The odds that Aramis came out of the gate already having perfected the arts of charm and wooing are pretty slim. I mean, sure, he's definitely got looks going for him and that almost always helps, but it takes practice to get that good!

I want to see some of Aramis early, painfully cringe-worthy attempts at becoming the brilliant seductive mastermind we see onscreen. This could amount to anything from cringe-worthy seventeenth-century pick-up lines, to over-the-top and borderline obnoxious flirting, to anything else Anon can imagine.

Bonus points if, at the earliest stage of his romantic endeavors, an excessively awkward teenage Aramis has not yet hit his stride in any way and his future good looks are difficult to predict.

(Anything from normal humor, to a touch of angst, to actual crack is totally welcome)

I never get tired of d'Art whump, it`s always a favourite!, and a catatonic d'Artagnan just came to mind.

After suffering something horrific, a mission going wrong and he's the only one left alive and severely injured, or has been captured and endured weeks of torture.

D'Artagnan is finally found and brought back to the garrison, but completely catatonic.

Unwilling to give up on him, The Musketeers set about caring for their brother themselves, making sure he eats and drinks, talking to him, and trying to bring him out of the catatonia.

Can be Bromance or slash, just lots of H/C and angst

S3 spoilers - spy!Aramis

Adaptation of this prompt:http://bbcmusketeerskink.dreamwidth.org/2286.html?thread=3312622#cmt3312622

So, rumour has it that S3 will pick up four years after the end of S2. And Santiago Cabrera was missing from the first bts shots we saw, and then only showed up with a modern jacket covering his outfit. Aramis might not have reunited with the others for all of those four years (or just seen them sporadically, secretly, and under risk of being found out), supposedly because he's dedicating his life to God in a monestary. Really, though, the situation with Spain was tense enough even before war broke out that Aramis, not only proven to be one of the king's most loyal and dedicated Musketeers (in Louis' S2 finale opinion), but also one who can speak Spanish like a native, was sent to Spain to spy.

Spy shenanigans as listed in linked prompt welcome, with the possible added angst bonus of Aramis being undercover as a soldier, and ending up on the different side of the same battlefield as his friends. Whether or not the others know of this mission, or think Aramis is in fact still in the monastery and just always takes a really long time to reply to their letters to please come join them at war, is up to you.

Re: S3 spoilers - spy!Aramis

(Anonymous) 2015-05-22 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)
OMG I love this..I definitely think theres more to him not being with the others during the break than simply remaining behind at the monastery!

d'Artagnan thinks he's somebody else

(Anonymous) 2015-05-22 05:00 pm (UTC)(link)
d'Artagnan is captured during what should have been a simple mission, and is held and tortured for an extended period. During this time, it gets harder and harder to hold out for a rescue that might not ever come, so he has to find a different way to cope with the hell he's being put through.

The solution he finds is to stop being d'Artagnan.

While being interrogated, he starts to respond as somebody else, asking himself "What would (Athos, Porthos, Aramis, Treville, /Constance, if you're feeling adventurous/) say?" and limits his words and behavior according to how he thinks that person would act.

For a while, this works, and helps him handle the mental and emotional strain of what he's having to deal with. Except, he finds himself spending less time as d'Artagnan and more time as somebody else entirely.

By the rescue does come, and it eventually does, it isn't d'Artagnan that gets rescued, but the embodiment of his perception of whatever person he's been pretending to be. It might not be obvious at first, but it isn't long before they notice he won't respond to his own name, and it doesn't take much of a stretch after that to figure out what's happened.

After that, it's a matter of trying to coax d'Artagnan back to himself, and a long task of finding out if that's even possible.

(I prefer if it's d'Artagnan, but Anon can swap him out for another character if they like)

(Anonymous) 2015-05-22 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
A rather perverse nobleman comes to Paris - one who despite his unpleasantness, is of political value to Louis and so is indugled.

Musketeers alone hold no more than a passing interest for him, but when he realises an actual Comte is among their number, it's a different story.

Louis convinces himself Athos will be fine (and as a servant of the Crown he should be prepared to put France first) but Treville realises otherwise and comes to the rescue (though Athos was in the middle of rescuing himself).

Up to author if ends up Treville/Athos.

TL;DR Louis 'rents' an unsuspecting Athos out to an important person at court, but Treville steps in.

Possible motivation for his determination to not rest during the incident - memories of another accident called savoy where all the victims died in the e.r.

Picky eater D'artagnan

(Anonymous) 2015-05-25 12:12 pm (UTC)(link)
5 times d'Artagnan shows just how picky he is about his food (or other's recognition/actions regarding his pickiness) and the one time he doesn't care how bad it is he'll eat and damn well enjoy it anyway.

(Bonus love if the plus one is something Constance has tried to cook, and everyone thinking it's cute.)

Or something along those lines, even if it isn't 5+1

D'artagnan illness

(Anonymous) 2015-05-25 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
A bit of humour :)

D'artagnan is ill/hurt but soldiers on anyway. He ends up vomiting in Treville's office, perhaps even on his boots before collapsing. Once he is well enough to remember what happened he is mortified and thinks his chances of becoming a musketeer are ruined.

Cue the boys telling him funny stories while he recovers of other things that happened to embarrass/humiliate etc. themselves/soldiers in the regiment to make him feel better.

Bonus -
The three musketeers construct the story that will no doubt join the ranks of these stories when D'artagnan becomes a musketeer (Well, these stories always have to be dramatised a bit!)
Treville takes pity on him and does something to make him feel better

D'Artagnan whump angst episode related cannon divergence TW Torture,

(Anonymous) 2015-05-26 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
What if when d'Artagnan climbed across the ropes in Episode one of Series two to save Lucy, he did`nt make it.

What if he was shot in the shoulder and ended up falling down into the river?.

The Inseparables are torn, wanting to go after d'Artagnan, not wanting to believe that he is dead, but they have no choice but to abandon him to get De Foix back to Paris.

On their return to Paris, Rochefort is made a hero by Louis, and d'Artagnan is declared M.I.A suspected dead.

Months go by with Treville being demoted, Athos disappearing into a bottle, Aramis making himself ill in his grief and self blame over Adele, and need to be near Anne and the Dauphin, and Porthos isolating himself from his friends, slipping into self destruction with fighting gamboling.

Then completely unexpectedly, d'Artagnan staggers into the garrison, weak, sick, bearing multipul scars and injuries from being tortured in a Spanish prison, but also carrying proof of Rochefort`s treason.

Can d'Artagnan`s return not only bring Rochefort down, but also repair the damage to the Inseparables relationship?

Would really like OT4 slash because it would really add to the angst, but bromance is good too.

Athos is a 'Musketeer' which is an elite core of Special Ops, defense and Rescue operations for 'New France' a very powerful and busy Deep space Colony, their Headquarters being 'Paris2'. Athos (and his crew) are a bit of a legend consider the best of the best, even amongst the Musketeers, be it at home base or on various missions, always alone, being the only human in a tight strike-crew of three.

Everyone also thinks he's a little...nuts, his personal files telling of darkness and grief, Treville, his commanding officer, has been trying to get Athos to except more 'living' crew members to his unit, but Athos is content with his crew of two very valuable robots/androids, seeing them as alive and treating them as his brothers/equals. Theres 'Porthos-601' the big heavy duty, armored combat and load-lifting robot and a 'Aramis-20/2 a sleek combat Sniper/Medic and Pleasure-bot, both have been modified, but while Athos insist that their alive and did it themselves, most people just think he modified them to his own wants.

Treville doesn't particularly care either way, but he's got a new recruit by the name of d'Artagnan and assigns him to Athos' unit, over Athos' loud objections. Now d'Art must get to know and prove himself to Athos, aswell a get used to the odd 'Inseparables', while Athos must deal with the young flesh and hot-blooded young pup now in their charge. Angst, surprises and possible lov ensue!

Athos/d'Art and Porthos/Aramis please, but Gen is wonderful to!
