Welcome to the BBC The Musketeers kink meme

The lowdown: You post your prompt, anon or not. Someone else will hopefully fill it (also anon or not). Not for profit, just for fun. And in this case, for king and country.

Anon is on, IP logging is off.

Rules:
No wank
No kink-shaming
Be respectful to everyone
The mod is not your babysitter
Use the warnings
No prompts with characters under the age of 16 in sexual situations, please.
Please keep the discussions in the prompt post to a minimum. We have a discussion post

Mandatory trigger warnings/warnings for both prompts and fills:
non-con/dub-con
abuse (physical and mental)
issues such as racism, sexism, homo-/trans-/-bi-/ace-phobia etc
character death
suicide
self-harm
eating disorders
extreme physical or mental illness
substance abuse (alcohol, drugs, medication)
bullying
gore and horror

If this list misses anything, do let me know, though please understand that if absolutely everything is added this list will never end.

You are encouraged and advised to add additional warnings at your own discretion.

Please make use of the subject line.

If your prompt alludes to the book or any of the other adaptations, please let us know which one.

Lastly, prompt freezes (which I have to say I’m really not fond of) etc will be at the mod’s discretion. I will decide on a prompt cut-off point for prompt posts once I know how fast the meme moves.

D’Artagnan/Athos or Aramis/Porthos, 3+1

From: (Anonymous)
Three times X accidentally hit on Y and the one time it was totally on purpose.

FILL (D’Artagnan/Athos)

Date: 2014-05-16 11:48 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
1.

"I'm sharing with Athos!" D'Artagnan called out as soon as they entered their room at the inn and saw the two beds. All three Musketeers looked at him, Athos bemused and Aramis and Porthos delighted.

"Well that was eager," Aramis drawled with his best implication-heavy tone.

"What...no! I just...I...you snore!" D'Artagnan pointed an accusing finger at Porthos. "You snore, and you kick!" The finger swung to point at Aramis, who was still grinning.

"He's got a point. Your sharp little elbows leave nasty bruises," Porthos informed Aramis. "Maybe I want Athos too."

"You can't, I called him," D'Artagnan hissed, wrapping a possessive hand around Athos' arm.

"Right, clearly no one is sleeping with Athos except D'Artagnan," Aramis sniggered.

"Stop saying it like that!"

"...I'm going to bed," Athos announced, and proceeded to ignore D'Artagnan 'guarding' his side of the bed from Porthos, who eventually gave up and resigned himself to Aramis' flailing limbs.

2.

"I think that woman was interested in you, Athos."

The sentiment could only have come from D'Artagnan; Porthos and Aramis knew Athos too well to engage in that kind of idiocy.

"Yeah, maybe if she turns out not to be a party to murder you could make another visit." Or perhaps they didn't. Porthos grinned when Athos glared at him.

"The matter is immaterial," Athos stated, hoping that would be the end of it.

"Why, because she's part of an investigation?"

"No, because I don't...engage. In that way." Awkward phrasing. Athos could hear Aramis laughing mentally.

"With women?" Behind D'Artagnan's back Aramis' eyebrows shot up in surprise and clear speculation at the question. Athos sent him a quelling look; D'Artagnan wasn't quite so soiled by city and army life, he didn't realize the implications of what he said.

"Just so."

"It's a shame, she was beautiful."

"Better not, comrade, the last time a woman was interested in Athos she was nearly burnt at the stake."

"Thank you for bringing up that unpleasant event Aramis, that was gentlemanly of you," Athos drawled in his nastiest, highest class tone. Aramis winced and shrugged.

"Let's be honest, Ninon De Larroque was far above all four of us, Paris, and probably France as a whole."

"Says the man who demonstrated for at least three women in that parlor his 'appreciation for scientific knowledge'."

"What can I say, I'm an intellectual."

3.

"Orders from the Captain." D'Artagnan looked up eagerly as Athos descended the steps from Treville's office.

"A mission?"

"If you can call it that." Athos injected as much disdain into his tone as possible as he handed the envelop over.

"Parade duty? Ah, sod." D'Artagnan scowled at the neat lines of text. "This is all we're good for?"

"You're still green, light duties like this are a way of helping you gain experience." Athos' tone switched from lecturing to rueful. "And I, apparently, am ready to be put out to pasture."

"That's not true!" Self-deprecation was Athos' only foray into humor but it never failed to make D'Artagnan feel the need to leap to his defense. "Athos you're the most capable leader and the most gifted commander in the regiment. You see things that everyone else misses, and you make the difficult decisions before anyone else has to. You always accept responsibility for the consequences of all of our actions, and more often than not you're the only reason those consequences are not disastrous. We all see the small things you do to make others' lives better, with no hope of reward or recognition."

"All right, enough." Athos might admit, privately, that he didn't mind these attempts to reassure him of his worth, misguided and mistaken as he knew they were. "Save all that flattery for someone with the power to promote you, on me it's just unnecessary."

"It's entirely necessary! I need to make it clear why I--" D'Artagnan broke off with a look on his face that appeared to be horror. Athos raised an eyebrow in polite confusion, which simply led to his comrade opening his mouth once or twice like a fish.

"You--?" Athos prompted at last when it looked like D'Artagnan was truly not going to make it to the end of the sentence on his own.

"I...SO ADMIRE YOUR SWORDSMANSHIP!" D'Artagnan yelped, overly loud.

"We weren't even talking of fencing," Athos felt compelled to point out, at which point D'Artagnan apparently gave up the conversation as a lost cause because he turned sharply on his heel and practically fled the courtyard.

"Again. AGAIN! What is wrong with me?!" he was muttering as he went. Athos really had no idea what was going on in the lad's head.

+1.
Athos was starting to get the sense that the Cardinal had an unhealthy fascination with combat competitions. He came up with these outlandish ways to instigate (or goad others into instigating) these dueling events and then would sit back with that unnervingly glassy gaze and just...watch. It was unpleasant.

Not that the Cardinal's disturbingly rapt presence was enough to distract Athos from the fight. He pivoted, watched with pity as the Red Guard left an opening in his defense large enough to ride a horse through, and struck. If the Cardinal would insist on challenging the Musketeers, he would continue to be humiliated by the caliber of talent on his side of the equation.

Duel ended and purse and prestige won, Athos retreated to the garrison armory to clean his sword and contemplate. Recently as the absence of the locket around Athos' neck felt lighter and lighter with each passing day, he had found himself taking a measure of pride in his swordplay that had not been there before. On a day like today, when no one had died by his hand and he had felt the smiles of his brothers at his back, it felt...good.

As if summoned by his thoughts of his comrades, D'Artagnan's head appeared around the door.

"Aramis said you'd be in here."

"Weapon care routines are essential." D'Artagnan took the advice with the grace he had been developing lately, a nice contrast to his initial defensiveness, and with something Athos thought might be approaching fondness.

"Did you see that guard's face when you disarmed him without him scoring a single hit?"

Athos allowed himself a small smile.

"His estimation of his skill was greatly exaggerated."

"I'll say!"

Athos stood to replace the cleaning supplies, and found D'Artagnan right in front of him. He blinked when D'Artagnan reached out to take the cloth and oil from him.

"I enjoyed watching your duel."

"I'm...glad?"

The lad was definitely very close, and his voice was...not taking a tone Athos had ever heard from him before.

Their hands met, and Athos surrendered the cleaning supplies in confusion. Somehow in the handoff D'Artagnan's hand found Athos' wrist just past the edge of his glove and skated along the sensitive skin there, sending shivers up his arm.

D'Artagnan's other hand found the pommel of Athos' sword, newly replaced at his waist, and played along the top in a way that was, wow, actually rather obscene.

"I really admire your swordsmanship," he said, voice breathy in a way Athos had not previously been aware he knew how to accomplish...and then turned and walked off, presumably to replace the cleaning supplies in their proper storage.

He left Athos standing in the armory staring after him, willing his pants to fit correctly again and thinking slightly despairingly that D'Artagnan was supposed to be the innocent one.

Any OT4-pairing: doing it with mirrors around

Date: 2014-04-21 07:37 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
What the title says: Any pairing from the team of Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and d'Artagnan having sex in a probably classy house with mirrors nearby. Both of them have never experienced the added pleasure of watching themselves and their lovers while fucking, and are equally aroused and affected.
From: (Anonymous)
They all have problems from their past which haunts them,
Athos drinks himself insensate over his Ex wife murdering his brother
Porthos lashes out in bar brawls with drunks, red gaurds, and the like to try and forget about the youth in the court of Miracles.
Aramis can`t spend a night alone after the Massacre of Savoy whoring constantly and struggles to eat properly, after a while these three came together, forming a bond of more than just friends, more than brothers, even more than lovers though that is what they are and began to help each other through their problems, sharing their pains and helping them deal with without harming themselves or anyone else.

Then d`Artagan comes along, a lad who had recently lost his Father through murder, they take him under their wing of course but all start to see familiar signs of someone with problems much as they have each had
D`Artagnan hardly eats, if at all, his arms he keeps covered at all times, though blood stains the sleeves on a far to regular basis, he also flinches from people touching him holds himself in as if to hide from.

Clearly d`Artagnan shares the same problems they do, and decided to help heal him find out what demons from his past are eating at him, and show him he has so much to live for and could have so very much with them if he wants to

I really want to see a sobbing under weight d`Artagnan with self inflicted wounds on his body sobbingly explaining what happened to him that made him like this, then the others explaining what they have all struggled with and been through and how getting together as a threesome helped save them, and offer to bring d`Artagnan in if he wishes.

The of course d`Artagnan accepting, and a very sexy but tender and and gentle four some following, Athos and Porthos kissing each and every scar and cut he`s inflicted on himself, Aramis slowly feeding him something and stroking his hair

Treville has a pregnant cat

From: (Anonymous)
And she keeps having litters on musketeers beds
From: (Anonymous)
Author's Note: I am very drunk, so any mistakes are the fault of the wine, not mine.

Belle, as she came to be called ironically by the men of the garrison, was the ugliest cat to be found in all of France. With a muddy coat sprinkled liberally with bald patches, glittering yellow eyes, and wicked claws, she had taught many a man a lesson about sitting in her spot or attempting to kick her out of the way. Half the garrison wore scars of her lessons as badges of pride. Treville doted on her, and, despite the men’s many askance looks and raised eyebrows, claimed that she was a good kitty. And, indeed, with Treville, she seemed as loving as a newborn babe. She would mrrow at his leg, pawing at his leg hopefully, and bump her head into his outstretched hand, flickering her tail in smug satisfaction as she surveyed the troops with her loyal master.

The men silently plotted their revenge on her.

“What?” Porthos yelled, and the others came running to find a wet mess, Belle curled up in the middle of it, licking a new litter of kittens as ugly as she was. Their eyes were squinted shut, fur still damp, and they cried plaintively at their mother. Porthos groaned in protest. “On my bed? Why not Aramis’s?”

“Oh, come on, Porthos,” Aramis chided, glancing over his shoulder. “They’re kind of cute.”

He stretched out a hand, but a low growl from the new mother had him hurriedly snatching it back. “Besides,” he added, “They’ll be gone in a little bit.”

D’Artagnan, who seemed to have reached some sort of accord with Belle, was gently running a finger across the fuzzy skull of one of the kittens. “I wonder where they came from?”

Aramis and Porthos exchanged glances.

“Well, when a daddy cat loves a mommy cat very much,” Aramis began.

D’Artagnan rolled his eyes. “You know what I mean. Who’s the father?”

“No doubt that tom that’s been hanging around,” Athos commented drily from the corner, disdaining to ooh and aww over the litter of kittens. “The black and white one?”

They knew the tom. They knew the tom and hated the tom with a passion only men wakened every night for a week from the loud, boastful cries of a tomcat scenting a queen in heat could muster. There were eight paws, three and a half ears, and one tail between Belle and the tom both, and the outcome of their dalliance looked to be the ugliest litter of bastard kittens ever to be born.

Belle hissed, letting them know they had admired her brood long enough, and even D’Artagnan backed up to let them be.

“Cheer up,” Aramis said, clapping a hand on Porthos’s shoulder. “I’m sure she’ll give you your bed back in a week or so.”

It ended up being two weeks, and no amount of scrubbing could remove the stain of kitten-birth from his bed linens.

What if the Rogue red gaurds did more than just kill d`Artagnan`s father and the other guest at the in?, what if they decided to have some fun with him?, beat and abuse him rape him befoe the finally leave.

D`Artagnan still goes to Paris hiding his jnjuries and nursing his wounded pride desperate to get justice for his Fathers Murder.
Well he meets us with the Musketeers and after accusing Athos ends up helping to set him free and finding the real culprits.

He gets taken under the wings of the Musketeers and starts to grow close to them, very close but always panics whenever they are about to take his shirt off or touch his backside, finally d`Artagnan has to tell them everything of what happened to him expecting to be turned away in disgust but O3 while seething in anger for what he`s been through bundle him up in their arms kissing him and promising to help him through this and that they will help him heal and one day learn how beautiful sex can be
From: (Anonymous)
Slight cross over with the moveies, books, and our beloved new Musketeers.

Exiled from France, Milady now works for non other than The Duke of Buckingham, a perverse sadistic and powerful man with a taste for young men, dark haired, slim bodied young lads that he can use for his pleasures.

Milady knows just the man to get for her new employer, d`Artagnan.

D`Artagnan is kidnapped from his new lover Athos`s lodgings and taken across the channel to England where he is then taken to Buckingham and subjected to the Dukes sadistic cruelty and perverse pleasures.

Athos, Aramis and Porthos must rescue him, but as they are not going on a truly sanctioned mission for France they are on their own, but they`ll be damned before they leave d`Artagnan in the clutches of Milady and Buckingham.

Major H/C Athos/d`Art, why does everyone pick on him to the victim?, he`s such a perfect puppy for it though
From: (Anonymous)
Since this was`nt filled on the last round I`m prompting it again

D`Artagnan has to go under cover in a male brothel for whatever reason, (Enemy to the state has a taste for men?) he gets dressed up in make ups corsets skin tight breeches, high heels and nothing else.

Athos hates this plan, firstly Porthos has to act as his pimp to take him into the brothel and sell him, first giving him a few bruises to make it more believable, and now d`Artagnan is having to sell himself like a common whore to these men in there!.

Athos takes it upon himself to be a regualr client of d`Artagnan`s so HE is the only one touching HIS Gascon.

However when d`Artagnan`s cover is rumbled the Brothel keeper and the state enemy decide to teach d`Artagnan a lesson he wont forget in a hurry, can Athos get their in time to save him?
From: (Anonymous)
Please don't reprompt? There's no need to, especially not so quick! Lots of people (including me!) are still filling things on the first round. :)

From: (Anonymous)
Treville has always been frightened of thunderstorms, but has long since learnt to hide that fear. However the musketeers know him well enough to see that he is still scared of them.

I want a fic where Treville is being looked after/looked out for without him knowing whathis musketeers are doing. For example not leaving him alone while there is a thunderstorm and making up silly excuses as to why they can't leave.
Bonus if there is some cuddling in there somewhere
From: (Anonymous)
Recalling the two examples in the series where Aramis declares "this is Porthos" in a heated defence of his friend. I'd like some other examples of the lengths Aramis is prepared to go to in order to save/rescue/protect Porthos. Can be slash or gen. Maybe even a five times fic, where the other occasion is something he does for one of the others, or something Porthos does for him.

(pov other than Aramis' preferred.)

d'Artagnan is present when the Three Inseparables have a really vicious argument. Athos attempts to pull rank and put an end to it. Too angry to be reasonable Porthos/Aramis (or both) goes too far and says something about Athos not being fit to lead as he's so messed up in the head and most nights is too drunk to string a sentence together. d'Artagnan watches Athos' face close up at once and the man leaves without saying another word. The following day, Treville, Athos and d'Artagnan are accompanying the King to some official function when a man in the crowd points a gun at Louis. Athos decides that if the only two people he'd let past his emotional walls in the last five years are tired of him at last then there's nothing left worth living for; he pushes the king out of the way and puts himself in the bullet's path. Treville is left to cope with a critically wounded Athos, a hysterical d'Artagnan who can't cope with the of losing someone else he'd looked up to, and a horrified Porthos and Aramis who are desperate to make things right. Sorry, but I am a sucker for Athos whump!

Aramis - the health advisor from hell

Date: 2014-04-22 11:31 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
So, remember when...

- d'Artagnan consulted Aramis regarding that embarrassing itch of his and Aramis was all "Dude, don't stick your dick in crazy. Also, have you heard about that great new invention called lamb intestine condoms?"

- Porthos got food poisoning for the umpteenth time after eating food which a dog wouldn't touch because of unresolved child hood trauma and Aramis' reaction was "WTF, dude, not again. How many times do I have to tell you, it's called the three-second rule for a reason."

- Athos developed scurvy on account of drinking his meals and his gums started bleeding and, oh yeah, Aramis said: "FML, guys, I signed up to be a solider, not a nursemaid, now eat your goddamned vegetables!"

He loves them, he really does, but they drive him mad. Mad with worry. And just mad-mad.

After all, a doctor is expensive and some things are embarrassing to tell a professional. Though I guess saying it to Aramis would be as well. Except he does have that reputation, and has probably seen worse.

Louis is great with kids.

I really liked the little bit of Louis playing with his nephew in the Savoy episode. I can just imagine that he's really good with children, because of his somewhat whimsical personality and sense of humour.
I'd just like to see him with kids. His own, or someone else's. Even just a random kid, or group of kids. Not being inept, like he's often portrayed, but proving that he can be responsible, caring and competent when he's really needed to be.
Maybe everyone else around him is flailing, unsure what to do with 'sudden unexpected child', and he just steps in. Or maybe he just has fun with some kids.
Go with it.
Would rather it was gen and set in the original time period.

Awesome supermarket AU

For some reason I feel the need for a supermarket au where the trio each have food sampling stalls and d'Artagnan is the hungriest shopper in the world, totally macking on the free food.
Thx <3

There is a serial killer on the loose, stalking the streets of Paris in 1630, preying upon young men slim of build with black hair, dark eyes, and olive skin.

First the killer stalks them, shadowing their every step, then the killer torments them, sending them tokens and trinkets, playing with them to unnerve them and let them know they are being watched, acting like a twisted admirer.
Finally the Killer abducts them and spends three days and three nights torturing them to death, leaving their broken disfigured corpses to be found in a public place.

Recently starting a relationship with Athos who is still struggling to deal with everything he had been through with Milady, d`Artagnan becomes the focus of the deranged psychopath, at first he tries to hide the tokens he`s sent, and keep an eye out himself, but soon he`s in over his head and when in the clutches of the killer he can only pray that his lover and friends will find and save him.

OP Be kind to me, I have the kidney and bladder infection from hell right now, not joking, it kills and the antibiotics are making me vomit.

There once was a man called Treville
Who was famed for his iron-clad will
Despite the temptation
To enjoy masturbation
He managed to withstand the thrill.

Language Kink Sex OT3

Date: 2014-04-22 09:49 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)

It maybe weird but I find it quite a turn on if a guy can speak more than one language. So, I'm calling all you multi-linguists to write a fic where Athos and Porthos have the same kink and ban Aramis from speaking French in the . Don't care if you don't even translate what is said, just give me Aramis getting fucked while being asked to speak a different language. Thank you please

d'Artagnan/Musketeers, Awkward conversations.

Date: 2014-04-22 10:10 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
So d'Art's a farmboy from Gascony, who's just arrived to Paris, one of the larger cities of the time.
Let's say he's lived a pretty sheltered life, and the three have to deal with a lot of innocent ignorance regarding some uncomfortable topics.
Could be a five times thing: Five times one of the boys explained something awkward to d'Artagnan and one time they didn't have to.

Fine with any kind of pairing(s) or gen.
From: (Anonymous)
Hmm, this has potential.
Seconded.
From: (Anonymous)
Milady rigs up a terrible game for one of the Musketeers- holding two of them hostage in different places and only giving the third enough time to save one, or something of that nature. Who does the target party choose? How do they subvert her plan?

-note- It feels obvious that her plaything in this little game would be Athos, but I feel like it could really be interesting if it wasn't, as well. She could pick Porthos and then coo into the captured Athos's ear that his friends have chosen each other, not him, and that nobody is coming to save him. But them somebody totally saves him, right? Right?

Porthos angst, OT3 gen or slash

Date: 2014-04-23 06:42 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
It hurts my heart that Athos and Aramis are keeping secrets from Porthos. I think it would hurt Porthos' heart too.

He's used to each of them having some things they don't talk about, he's not used to Aramis lying and Athos covering for him with more lies, and being deliberately excluded from the brotherhood Porthos felt he finally belonged to. He still trusts them, and he knows they must have their reasons, and he'll back them up however they need, and distract d'Artagnan.

But it hurts.

restored trust and friendship, please?

I have so much love for all the 'team as family' fics over at AOL, featuring lots of brotherly love between the boys and Treville acting as their father figure.

Can I have five times d'Artagnan realised on his own that he was part of a family rather than just a team and the one time someone

stupid machines!!!

OT3 - Seducing Treville

Date: 2014-04-23 10:17 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
OT3 are very happily in an established relationship together but they discover that they all harbour a bit of a thing for Captain Treville. They place a bet on who can seduce him first.

Who wins? Or do they eventually decide to team up and make it a group effort?

Serious or as cracky as you want!
